A whole town of showrooms: High Point Market 2027 booths and room sets
We build temporary exhibits and showroom room sets that let furniture retailers and designers sit, touch and order in one visit. In ANDMORE buildings we prepare the Building Authorization Pass package, drawings and contractor details, before any work starts.
- Apr 10–14 & Oct 23–27, 2027
- 11.5M sq ft of showrooms
- 160+ showroom addresses
What makes High Point Market different, and how we build for it
High Point Market is not one building but a district: more than 160 addresses and over 110 building owners across downtown High Point, with 11.5 million square feet of showrooms. Most exhibitors rent permanent showrooms all year, and less than 10% of space is temporary. That temporary space belongs almost entirely to ANDMORE: the three-floor Suites at Market Square, its juried SALON, the 80,000-square-foot INTERHALL in the International Home Furnishings Center, and Furniture Plaza for moderate-price case goods and motion upholstery. HPMA runs free buses from three North Carolina airports and about 80 hotels, and points buyers to The Point, Center Stage and NKBA | KBIS.
Store owners and buyers plan routes through dozens of buildings, so they want a showroom or booth that shows price point and style at a glance, with freight, lead times and programs ready.
Designers come for new introductions and juried areas such as SALON and INTERHALL; they want finished room settings, fabric and finish samples and trade terms.
Buyers flying into North Carolina ride HPMA's free buses from three airports; they need clear wayfinding to your building and a seated place to talk volume and shipping.
Your team in High Point
Two shops and one project manager for High Point Market
Our Fishkill, NY production shop and our Las Vegas hub build the booth, we ship it to the High Point Market showroom district, and our own project manager runs the High Point Market install on the floor with vetted local labor. Builds take a predictable 30 to 45 days, with secure storage and pre-show QA.
Your staff walks onto the High Point Market floor and the booth is already lit and stocked. You just show up.
Inside High Point Market 2027
High Point Market rules that shape your booth
Any work in an ANDMORE property, even cosmetic, needs ANDMORE review and a Building Authorization Pass posted at the showroom entrance, issued within 24 to 48 hours of a complete request. We send scope, DWG drawings, contractor names and dates in one package.
ANDMORE issues no Building Authorization Passes later than 30 days before market (Fall 2026 sheets). We schedule design sign-off so the pass request lands well before that cutoff for Spring 2027.
ANDMORE says construction or demolition typically needs City of High Point permits, with permit, inspection and certificate of occupancy copies sent to its Tenant Improvement Department. We flag which parts of a build trigger a permit before production.
For Fall 2026, ANDMORE's Suites at Market Square and Plaza Suites sheet required merchandise delivered by October 9 and truck log-in by 3 p.m. on October 16, with fees of $300 or more after deadline. We book freight ahead of those cutoffs.
HPMA requires exhibitors to secure passes for everyone from their company attending market, and invited buyers must register themselves. We register the install labor under your company so access on set-up days is never in question.
Programs worth planning for
HPMA's new product program: exhibitors add product images to their Exhibitor Profile to be considered by the Style Spotters; the Fall 2026 deadline was August 3, and Spring 2027 dates are not confirmed yet.

Popular booth sizes at High Point Market
High Point has no single exhibit hall: most exhibitors lease permanent showrooms from building owners year-round, and less than 10% of space is temporary, leased per market through ANDMORE's Suites, SALON, INTERHALL and Furniture Plaza. We build room sets for temporary spaces and fixtures, finishes and signage for leased showrooms.

04 Designing for residential furniture, lighting, rug, textile and home décor brands at High Point Market
Four things we get right for High Point Market exhibitors
1File the BAP before building
In ANDMORE properties every change, even paint or flooring, needs a Building Authorization Pass: scope, drawings in DWG, contractor and subcontractor names, dates and a contractor COI with $3 million liability. We prepare the full package so the pass posts at your door on time.
2Design rooms, not booths
Furniture buyers at High Point want to sit on the sofa and open the drawer. We build complete room sets with flooring, wall finishes and layered lighting, and leave a clear path so a buyer can walk through without moving a chair.
3Win the walk between buildings
With 160-plus addresses, buyers choose which buildings to enter. HPMA notes that sitting near complementary styles and price points draws traffic, so we design your entry, window and first vignette to tell a passing buyer exactly what you sell.
4Work to the building's calendar
For Fall 2026 the Suites and Plaza Suites sheet wanted showroom plans by August 7, construction done by September 11, paint by September 25 and trucks logged in by 3 p.m. the day before market, with $300 late fees. We plan Spring 2027 work to the same rhythm once the new dates post.

Where you could be at High Point Market 2027
High Point's temporary exhibitors work from four ANDMORE locations downtown, while permanent showrooms fill more than 160 addresses run by over 110 owners.
Suites at Market Square, 200 West Commerce
A three-story wing with 300,000+ square feet of flexible exhibit space and the largest concentration of temporary exhibitors, focused on new brands and new product designs.
Our advice Suites traffic is buyers hunting for something new, so we lead with your newest piece in the front vignette and keep the price story visible.
SALON and INTERHALL
Two juried areas: SALON on the ground floor of Suites for design-forward, contemporary furnishings, and INTERHALL, 80,000 square feet on the ground floor of IHFC for modern design resources and classic furniture.
Our advice Juried spaces are judged on presentation; we finish all visible walls, light the room like a gallery and hide the order desk.
Furniture Plaza, 210 South Main
Plaza Suite Temporaries for name-brand lines and moderate-price manufacturers in case goods, motion upholstery and other categories, in the center of the market.
Our advice Motion upholstery needs power and room to recline; we plan outlets, clearances and a durable floor for a week of testing.

High Point Market exhibitor questions
Questions exhibitors ask us before High Point Market
When is High Point Market 2027?
Spring High Point Market runs April 10–14, 2027, and Fall Market runs October 23–27, 2027. HPMA has also published Spring 2028 (April 22–26) and Fall 2028 (October 21–25). The most recent edition was Fall 2026, October 17–21.
Where is High Point Market held?
Across downtown High Point, North Carolina, in more than 160 showroom addresses owned by over 110 building owners. There is no single convention center: temporary exhibitors gather in ANDMORE's Suites at Market Square, SALON, INTERHALL in the International Home Furnishings Center and Furniture Plaza.
How big is High Point Market?
HPMA lists 11,500,000 square feet of showroom space. ANDMORE, the largest landlord, operates 17 properties covering 6.8 million square feet, and HPMA's exhibitor guide says ANDMORE owns and operates about 60% of market real estate, including 99% of the temporary space.
Is High Point Market open to the public?
High Point Market is open to the trade only: home furnishings retailers, interior designers and buyers who register. Exhibitors must secure passes for every member of their company attending, and buyers they invite must register for their own.
Who organizes High Point Market?
The High Point Market Authority, at 164 South Main Street in High Point, promotes the market, owns registration and runs buyer transportation. Space itself is leased from individual building owners, with ANDMORE the largest; HPMA can give you any building owner's leasing contact.
How do we get exhibit space at High Point Market?
Decide between temporary and permanent space, then contact the building owner's leasing agent. For temporary space, ANDMORE's Suites and SALON, INTERHALL and Furniture Plaza each have a leasing contact and an online application. Showroom size and lease terms are set by each venue.
How much does exhibiting at High Point Market cost?
Building owners quote space privately, and neither HPMA nor ANDMORE publishes rates. For the build, we quote room-set kits to the temporary space or showroom you lease; for scale, our rentals for a 10×20 footprint run $7,500 to $15,000 and a custom 20×20 room set $50,000 to $120,000, with staging, wall finishes and permits moving the total.
What are the temporary exhibit buildings at High Point?
ANDMORE runs four: Suites at Market Square, a three-story wing with 300,000+ square feet and the most temporary exhibitors; SALON on its ground floor, juried and design-forward; INTERHALL, 80,000 juried square feet in IHFC; and Furniture Plaza for name-brand, moderate-price case goods and motion upholstery.
Do we need approval to build out a High Point showroom?
In ANDMORE properties, any work including cosmetic changes needs a Building Authorization Pass, with scope, DWG plans, contractor and subcontractor names, dates and a contractor COI of at least $3 million liability and $1 million workers' compensation. BAPs are not issued later than 30 days before market.
How does freight work at High Point Market?
Each building handles its own freight. ANDMORE docks run Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with a dock contact for each property, and each property publishes a dates and deadlines sheet. For Fall 2026 trucks had to log in by 3 p.m. the day before market, with $300 fees after.
How do buyers get around High Point Market?
HPMA runs free buses, vans and traffic control funded by the State of North Carolina and the City of High Point, serving three North Carolina airports, about 80 hotels, rental homes, two Park & Ride lots and two district bus routes. Buyers have priority on the buses.
Is High Point Market worth exhibiting at?
For residential furniture, lighting and rug brands selling to furniture stores and designers, it is the market to plan around: 11.5 million square feet of showrooms open twice a year, per HPMA. Brands that also sell gift and décor to western stores often add Las Vegas Market, and gift-led lines often prefer Atlanta.
Can you install in a High Point showroom we already lease?
We can. We survey the space, draw the room sets, prepare the Building Authorization Pass package, build in Fishkill, NY, and send our project manager with vetted local labor to set it up. Between Spring and Fall Market we refresh graphics and vignettes without rebuilding.
Can we rent a booth for High Point Market?
For temporary space we rent room-set kits: wall panels with finishes, flooring, lighting, a reception counter and graphics, with freight to the building's dock, install and dismantle on one proposal. Your furniture stays the star; the kit frames it.
Before you sign for High Point Market
Ask any High Point Market exhibit builder these five questions:
- Is every fee on the proposal, including what the High Point Market show contractor bills?
- Who actually builds it for High Point Market: your shop or a subcontractor?
- Will your project manager be on the floor for install and dismantle?
- What exactly is in the rental, and what does High Point Market bill?
- After the show, where is the booth kept, and what does storage cost?
Common situations
