Showrooms, not aisles: the New York Tabletop Show 2027 booth guide
The New York Tabletop Show runs in permanent showrooms, so we build what a showroom needs for market week: set tables, lit glass cabinets, graphics and displays that make a buyer stop. At 41 Madison Avenue we install inside your suite on whichever of its floors you lease.

What makes New York Tabletop Show different, and how we build for it
The New York Tabletop Show is a twice-yearly market that happens inside showrooms, not on an exhibit floor. The Tabletop Association's 37 member companies show more than 100 dinnerware, crystal, flatware, glassware, hotelware and luxury gift brands in permanent suites at 41 Madison Avenue, spread from the ground floor to the 24th. Buyers move floor to floor by elevator, many on appointments, and the association adds a Buyer's Lounge, a market-week cocktail reception, a printed Showroom Directory and the Virtual Tabletop Show online. The 2027 markets are projected for April 6–9 and September 21–24.
New patterns set on a real table beside the bestsellers, open stock and pricing ready, and time with the brand's sales lead on an appointment.
Full place settings in each pattern, coordinating glass and flatware shown together, and clear registry programs and replenishment terms.
Hotelware and flatware under realistic lighting, durability and lead times for volume orders, and samples they can take back to a project.

Inside New York Tabletop Show 2027
Rules that shape your New York Tabletop Show booth
Companies show in permanent showrooms at 41 Madison Avenue during market week, and the association's directory lists members by floor and suite. We build displays that live in your showroom and refresh between markets.
Showrooms keep 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. hours, and some see visitors by appointment only. We design the door and window display so a buyer passing between appointments knows what is inside before knocking.
Pre-registration is limited to trade visitors such as wholesale buyers, designers, chefs and hospitality professionals. We plan seating for working appointments rather than walk-in browsing.
Members pay $2,800 a year ($2,500 outside 41 Madison) for directory listings, a virtual showroom, attendance reports and eight weeks of pre-market e-blasts. We match your showroom graphics to the photography in those listings.
Programs worth planning for
A member networking reception on Monday from 4 to 6 p.m. during market week, included with Tabletop Association membership.
A members' lounge with a coffee bar and coat check that buyers use between showroom appointments during market week.
Each member gets a virtual showroom page and a listing in the online directory, plus a downloadable Showroom Directory PDF that maps members by floor.

Case study · French Avenue
French Avenue at a fragrance and beauty trade show
A premium fragrance environment built around discovery, with a flow designed for real conversations and product sampling.
Different product, same selling style: our French Avenue environment slowed visitors down for sampling and talk, and a tabletop showroom closes the same way, one set table and one pattern at a time.

04 Designing for dinnerware, glassware, crystal, flatware, hotelware and tabletop gift brands at New York Tabletop Show
Four things we get right for New York Tabletop Show exhibitors
1Set the whole table
Tabletop buyers judge a pattern by the full setting: dinner plate, salad plate, glass, flatware and linen together. We build a dressed dining vignette in your showroom with a raised centerpiece so the first view from the 41 Madison corridor is a finished table.
2Light crystal without glare
Crystal and glazed porcelain flare under hard spots. We fit glass cabinets and shelves with diffused LED strips, use warm high color-rendering lighting on the tables, and test with your own pieces so cut patterns sparkle without hot spots.
3Win the elevator walk
With showrooms spread from floor 1 to floor 24, buyers ride elevators between appointments and decide in a few seconds whether to step in. We give your door and window a lit graphic and the new pattern, so a buyer on the way to another floor stops.
4Refresh for two markets a year
The association projects markets in April and September 2027. We build modular fixtures that stay in the showroom and swap only the graphics, linens and featured patterns before each market, so the suite looks new for buyers twice a year at a fraction of a rebuild.

Where you could be at New York Tabletop Show 2027
The New York Tabletop Show has no exhibit hall. It runs in member showrooms across the floors of 41 Madison Avenue, with two members in nearby buildings.
Floor 1
Ground-floor member showrooms, the first doors buyers pass on arrival at 41 Madison Avenue.
Our advice A ground-floor showroom catches walk-ins, so we keep the window display changing with each market's new pattern.
Floors 6 to 10
The densest cluster of member showrooms in the association's online directory, with several companies on each floor.
Our advice Neighbors compete for the same corridor, so we lead with one finished table and a lit door graphic.
Floors 15 to 24
Upper-floor showrooms, from the 15th-floor guild suites to a single member on the 24th.
Our advice Upper floors depend on appointments, so we print floor-and-suite cards and a lobby directional for your reps.

New York Tabletop Show exhibitor questions
Questions exhibitors ask us before New York Tabletop Show
When is the New York Tabletop Show 2027?
The Tabletop Association projects two 2027 markets: April 6–9, 2027 and September 21–24, 2027. The fall 2026 market ran October 6–9, 2026. Showrooms keep 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. hours, and some see buyers by appointment only.
Where is the New York Tabletop Show held?
In the showrooms of 41 Madison Avenue, on the corner of 26th Street beside Madison Square Park in the Flatiron and NoMad district. Member showrooms run from the ground floor to the 24th, and two members show in nearby buildings on West 26th Street and Third Avenue.
Can we get a booth at the New York Tabletop Show?
The market has no booth floor; companies take part through permanent showrooms and membership in the Tabletop Association. Tabletop brands that want a booth go to NY NOW or a gift market, and we build both: showroom fixtures here and a matching booth there.
How much does it cost to take part in the New York Tabletop Show?
Association dues are $2,800 a year, or $2,500 for members outside 41 Madison, plus your showroom lease. Dues cover a directory listing, a virtual showroom page, show registration, attendance reports, the market-week reception and eight weeks of pre-market e-blasts and promotion.
Who exhibits at the New York Tabletop Show?
The association's 37 member companies, showing more than 100 brands of china, crystal, dinnerware, flatware, glassware, hotelware, lighting, luxury gifts, housewares and objets d'art. Members range from European porcelain houses to hospitality suppliers, and the full list is in the Showroom Directory.
Who attends the New York Tabletop Show?
Retail buyers, bridal registry and department store teams, interior designers, architects, chefs, restaurateurs, hotels and media, per the Tabletop Association. Pre-registration is open only to the trade, and members receive attendance reports covering retailers, hospitality, designers and press after each market.
Is the New York Tabletop Show open to the public?
The market is for the trade. Pre-registration through the association's Eventbrite page is limited to wholesale buyers, designers, chefs and hospitality professionals, and some showrooms open only by appointment.
Who organizes the New York Tabletop Show?
The Tabletop Association, a group of tabletop companies, most with showrooms at 41 Madison Avenue, that runs the twice-yearly New York Tabletop Show, the Virtual Tabletop Show and the Showroom Directory. Membership questions go to the association's membership contact.
Can Purple build inside a 41 Madison showroom?
We design and build showroom fixtures, table vignettes, lit cabinets and graphics in Fishkill, NY, deliver them to 41 Madison and install with our own project manager, working to the building's delivery and access rules. Between markets we swap graphics and featured patterns.
What does a Tabletop Association membership include?
A listing in the virtual directory, an individual virtual showroom page, onsite and online show registration, attendance reports, an invitation to the Monday 4 to 6 p.m. market-week cocktail reception, eight weeks of pre-market promotion and use of the Buyer's Lounge with coffee bar and coat check.
How do buyers get to 41 Madison Avenue?
Take the 6 train to 23rd or 28th Street, or the N or R to 23rd Street; the building is at 26th Street and Madison Avenue. Discounted hotel rates for market-week visitors are offered through the association's travel partner, Lois Lane Travel.
How do we stand out with showrooms on 24 floors?
Buyers ride between floors on a tight appointment schedule. We put a lit graphic and the season's new pattern at your door, set one complete table visible from the corridor, and print a floor-and-suite card your reps can hand to buyers in the lobby or the Buyer's Lounge.
Can we reuse showroom displays at other shows?
Modular fixtures built for a 41 Madison showroom can travel. Tabletop brands take table vignettes and glass cabinets to NY NOW, Shoppe Object or Atlanta Market, and we store spare pieces in Fishkill, NY between markets.
