What makes Shoppe Object different, and how we build for it

Shoppe Object is a juried home and gift show, started on August 11, 2018 with 100 brands in a former bagel factory and now filling two floors of Manhattan's historic Starrett-Lehigh Building on the Hudson twice a year.ANDMORE acquired it in 2022. The August 2026 edition set records with more than 900 exhibitors, 55% of them international, and over half chose it as their only U.S. show under the Only in New York banner. NOURISH, the Global Artisan Project and BLMAI carve out curated sections, Shoppe Talks panels run on themed days, and every exhibitor gets a six-month Shoppe Online season.

Independent boutique and concept store owners

A tight edit they can picture on their own tables, wholesale minimums at a glance, and a seat to place an opening order with the founder or rep.

Museum shop and department store buyers

Story and provenance told clearly, exclusives and capacity explained, and line sheets ready for a buying committee back home.

Interior designers and press

Pieces shown in a styled setting with true color and texture, and a quick way to request samples, images and trade pricing.

Rules that shape your Shoppe Object booth

Every brand is juried

Shoppe Object is a juried show: potential exhibitors fill out an application, and acceptance emails go out in waves as the roster takes shape (FAQ). We plan your booth concept alongside the application so the build starts the day you are accepted.

Organizer rule

Pricing only after acceptance

Details including pricing and booth options are provided upon acceptance, not on a public rate card. We hold your design in two sizes until Shoppe Object confirms the option, then finalize drawings for that footprint.

Organizer rule

Trade only, with paid guests

Buyers, retailers, press, merchants and interior designers attend free; approved Industry Guests pay a 100% non-refundable entry fee. We design for working buyers, with order tables and line sheets rather than retail checkout.

Organizer rule

Shoppe Online season included

Participation in a six-month Shoppe Online season is included for all Shoppe Object exhibitors. We carry your booth photography and graphics into the online listing so the booth and the digital storefront look the same.

02 Booths & pricing for Shoppe Object 2027

Popular booth sizes at Shoppe Object

Shoppe Object shares pricing and booth options only after a brand is accepted, so the footprint comes from your acceptance, not a public rate card. Many exhibitors are small design-led brands, and NOURISH offers less space than a full booth. We design to the option you receive, and recommend a 10×20 or larger when a line needs styled tables.

04 Designing for design-led home, gift, tabletop and lifestyle brands at Shoppe Object

Four things we get right for Shoppe Object exhibitors

Colorful traditional ceramics displayed in a rustic stone interior1

Edit like the jury did

Shoppe Object picks its roster by application, so the floor rewards restraint. We help you choose the fewest pieces that tell the line, build low plinths and open shelving in natural finishes, and leave negative space so a buyer's eye lands on the hero piece first.

Craftsman standing in a pottery studio surrounded by shelves of handmade ceramics2

Light a loft, not a hall

The Starrett-Lehigh Building is a 1931 industrial loft, not a convention hall, so light changes from bay to bay. We bring warm, high color-rendering spots on slim arms so glazes, textiles and candles look true whether your booth sits by a window or deep in the floor.

Young woman in a floral dress smelling a candle in a cozy shop3

Pack for two floors up

Shoppe Object fills floors 3 and 4, so your booth travels up from the street, not across a convention dock. We build in light frames and flat-packed panels, label every crate by floor and booth, and keep fixtures small enough to move in a few trips.

Make the order easy for small shops

Buyers from Big Night, McNally Jackson and museum stores walked the February 2026 floor. We give them a seated order table, a printed card with minimums and lead times, and a QR code to your Shoppe Online listing so orders keep coming during the six-month season.

Logistics for Shoppe Object 2027, handled

Shoppe Object fills two floors of the Starrett-Lehigh Building in West Chelsea. Attendees enter from the west side of 11th Avenue between 26th and 27th Streets, collect badges at the ground-floor registration desk, walk through Olly Olly Market and ride the SHOPPE EXPRESS elevator to floors 3 or 4. Shoppe Object exhibitor questions

Questions exhibitors ask us before Shoppe Object

When is Shoppe Object New York 2027?

The February 2027 edition runs February 7–9, 2027. Doors open at 9 a.m. all three days; February 7 and 8 close at 6 p.m. and the last day at 5 p.m. Shoppe Object runs New York twice a year; the summer 2026 edition was August 2–4, and August 2027 dates are not confirmed yet.

Where is Shoppe Object held?

In the Starrett-Lehigh Building in West Chelsea, Manhattan, on floors 3 and 4. Enter on the west side of 11th Avenue between 26th and 27th Streets, pick up your badge at the ground-floor desk, pass through Olly Olly Market and take the SHOPPE EXPRESS elevator up.

How do I exhibit at Shoppe Object?

Shoppe Object is juried: you fill out the exhibitor application, the team reviews it, and acceptance emails go out in waves as the season's roster takes shape. Questions go to the sales team. Once accepted, send us your booth option and we start the design.

How much does a booth at Shoppe Object cost?

Shoppe Object gives pricing and booth options only after acceptance, so there is no public rate card. For the exhibit, our 10×20 rental with styled shelving, plinths and lighting runs $7,500 to $15,000, and a custom 20×20 $50,000 to $120,000; fixtures and finishes move the price most here.

Who exhibits at Shoppe Object?

Curated home, gift, tabletop, accessories and lifestyle brands, many of them small and design-led. In August 2026 more than 900 exhibitors came from 56 countries, 55% from outside the U.S., and over half chose Shoppe Object as their only U.S. show.

How many buyers attend Shoppe Object?

Shoppe Object does not publish a total. It says August 2026 drew its highest attendance yet, up almost 10% year over year, with buyers, designers and media from 42 countries, and February 2026 drew visitors from all 50 states and more than 65 countries.

Is Shoppe Object open to the public?

Shoppe Object is trade only: buyers, retailers, press, merchants and interior designers attend free, and approved Industry Guests pay a non-refundable entry fee. Children may come with a parent or guardian, and anyone 12 or under must be accompanied at all times.

What are NOURISH, the Global Artisan Project and BLMAI?

They are curated sections of the New York show. NOURISH is for small-batch gourmet, wellness and beauty brands that need less space than a full booth; the Global Artisan Project, run with ByHand Consulting, presents craft-preserving artisan brands; BLMAI gives independent Black designers and makers fully sponsored space.

Can we build a custom booth at the Starrett-Lehigh Building?

You can bring your own fixtures and graphics within the booth option Shoppe Object assigns. The building is a loft space on upper floors, so we design light, flat-packed displays that move up in a few trips and assemble without heavy tools.

Who organizes Shoppe Object?

Shoppe Object, founded by Jesse James of Aesthetic Movement with Deirdre Maloney and Minya Quirk of Bast & Bell, and part of ANDMORE since 2022. Renata Bokalo, a founding team member, became Show Director in 2025. It also runs Shoppe Object Paris with WSN.

What does Shoppe Online add for exhibitors?

Every Shoppe Object exhibitor gets a six-month Shoppe Online season on the show's digital wholesale marketplace, so buyers who saw the booth can order after the show. We put a QR code to your listing on the order table and on your take-away card.

Is there a shuttle to Shoppe Object from the Javits Center?

The Javits shuttle has ended. Shoppe Object asked for a pick-up and drop-off point at the Javits, the request was denied, and the service ended. Buyers walking over from other markets come up 11th Avenue to the 26th to 27th Street entrance.

Can we reuse the booth at other gift shows?

A Shoppe Object booth built on light frames with fabric or veneer panels travels well. The same kit returns for the August New York edition or heads to NY NOW and Atlanta Market wearing fresh graphics, waiting at our Fishkill, NY shop between seasons.
