Open the line, write the order: Philadelphia Gift Show 2027 booths in Oaks

We build Philadelphia Gift Show booths that show a gift or home line the way a Main Line boutique would shelve it, with a seated spot to write the order. At the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center we work to the January 29 move-in and the show's hand-carry and cartload rules.

What makes Philadelphia Gift Show different, and how we build for it

Clarion Events bills the Philadelphia Gift Show as the largest gift show in the Tri-State area, and for 30 years it has pulled independent retailers from the Mid-Atlantic to the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks.More than 200 exhibitors fill the floor, from giftware, tabletop and fashion jewelry to toys and gourmet. Artisan Alley gives makers tabletop and booth packages, the Vintage Market-Immediate Goods pavilion sells cash-and-carry, and Made in America collects U.S.-made lines. Clarion's own survey says 82% of buyers come to place orders, so the booth has to close as well as display.

Independent gift and home store owners

A line they can shop like their own shelves, wholesale minimums and show specials posted, and a seat to write a spring order before the season turns.

Garden center, hospital and museum shop buyers

Products sorted by the shop they buy for, price points marked clearly, and reorder terms they can take back to a buying committee.

Resort, souvenir and national park buyers

Customizable and regional pieces displayed with sample imprints, case packs and lead times, so a summer order can be placed in February.

Rules that shape your Philadelphia Gift Show booth

Hand-carry only from the lots

Exhibitors may hand-carry from vehicles in designated lots, but curbside parking, hand carts and dollies are not allowed, and cartload service caps at 8 pieces under 150 pounds (2027 FAQ). We crate the booth for the included freight handling instead.

Organizer rule

Insurance uploaded to the ERC

Every exhibitor must carry liability insurance for the full exhibition and upload the certificate to the Exhibitor Resource Center; emailed or mailed certificates are not accepted. We send your broker the wording and confirm the upload before move-in.

Organizer rule

Wholesale first, cash-and-carry late

The show is mainly wholesale, with cash-and-carry vendors in the Vintage Market-Immediate Goods pavilion and other take-home sales usually near the end, most on the last day. We design the booth around order writing and add stock space only on request.

Organizer rule

No photos without consent

Photographing exhibits is prohibited without the exhibitor's written consent, which protects new designs on a floor full of competitors. We keep prototypes visible to buyers and post a small no-photography card at the display if you want one.

Organizer rule

Packing materials wait until 4 p.m.

Packing materials re-enter the hall only at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, February 2, carriers check in by 10 a.m. Wednesday and everything leaves by noon (2027 FAQ). We book your carrier and pack-out crew for that window.

04 Designing for gift, home decor, jewelry, seasonal and gourmet brands and sales reps at Philadelphia Gift Show

Four things we get right for Philadelphia Gift Show exhibitors

Hand picking a scented candle in a glass tumbler from a shop shelf1

Shelve it like a Main Line shop

Clarion's survey says 86% of Philadelphia Gift Show buyers come to see new products. We build shelving and risers at retail heights inside the 8-foot drape, group the line by price point and story, and light new items first so buyers spot them from the aisle.

Hands arranging small paper gift bags on a wooden table2

Build for the order desk

Clarion reports that 82% of buyers come to place orders. We put a seated order desk with a tablet or line sheets at the front of the booth, post your minimums and show specials, and keep catalogs and order pads in a locked cabinet below.

Boutique owner smiling while writing inventory notes beside a clothing rack3

Pack for the cartload rule

Hand-carry is allowed only from vehicles in designated lots, with no hand carts or dollies, and cartload service caps at 8 pieces under 150 pounds. We crate your booth for the free on-site freight handling instead, so nothing has to cross the lot in your arms.

Woman's hand picking a ring from a jewelry display4

Plan the Tuesday close

The floor closes at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, February 2, packing materials return only at 4 p.m., and everything must be out by noon Wednesday. We schedule your pack-out crew and carrier pickup for that window so the booth leaves Oaks on time.

Philadelphia Gift Show exhibitor questions

Questions exhibitors ask us before Philadelphia Gift Show

When is the Philadelphia Gift Show 2027?

The 2027 show runs Sunday, January 31 to Tuesday, February 2, 2027. The floor is open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday and Monday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, and exhibitor move-in opens Friday, January 29 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Where is the Philadelphia Gift Show held?

It is at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center, 100 Station Avenue, Oaks, Pennsylvania, northwest of Philadelphia. The building has 240,000 square feet on a single floor and about 5,000 free parking spaces, and Philadelphia International is the nearest airport.

How much does a booth at the Philadelphia Gift Show cost?

Clarion sends booth package pricing through the form on its Exhibit page, and Artisan Alley packages start at $1,535 (2027). For the display inside your package, our shelving, graphics and lighting kits for a 10×20 footprint rent for $7,500 to $15,000, and we quote every kit to the space Clarion assigns.

What does a Philadelphia Gift Show booth package include?

The standard package has 8-foot side and back drapes, one undraped table, one chair, a wastebasket, a booth ID sign, free on-site freight handling, a directory listing and marketing materials. Electrical is extra and is ordered from the Expo Center; furnishings come from GES.

Who exhibits at the Philadelphia Gift Show?

More than 200 exhibitors: giftware, decorative accessories, tabletop, apparel, fashion jewelry and accessories, toys and games, holiday and seasonal, gourmet food, baby and designer or artisan lines, plus sales reps carrying several brands. Artisan Alley and Made in America group makers and U.S.-made products.

How many buyers attend the Philadelphia Gift Show?

Thousands of retailers from the Mid-Atlantic and Tri-State areas attend, per Clarion, which gives no exact buyer count. Its buyer survey says 86% come to see new products, 82% come to place orders and 72% come to source new suppliers, so an order desk matters as much as the display.

Is the Philadelphia Gift Show open to the public?

The show is open only to the trade. Registration is free for qualified retailers, first-time stores bring one personal ID and two business IDs, and children under 14 and strollers are strongly discouraged. Photographing exhibits needs the exhibitor's written consent.

Can we sell cash-and-carry at the Philadelphia Gift Show?

The show is mainly wholesale. Cash-and-carry vendors sit in the Vintage Market-Immediate Goods pavilion, and other exhibitors may offer take-home goods, usually toward the end of the show and most on the last day. We add a small stock and checkout area only if your contract allows it.

Can we hand-carry our booth into the Expo Center?

You may hand-carry from a vehicle parked in a designated lot, with no curbside parking, hand carts or dollies. Cartload service takes up to 8 pieces under 150 pounds on one 3×4-foot cart per private vehicle, outside the free freight allowance. We crate the booth so the included freight handling covers it.

When are move-in and move-out for the 2027 show?

Move-in opens Friday, January 29, 2027, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Move-out runs Tuesday, February 2 from 4 to 10 p.m. and Wednesday, February 3 from 8 a.m. to noon; carriers must check in by 10 a.m. Wednesday. Closed-toe shoes are required and children are not allowed in the hall.

Who is the general contractor for the Philadelphia Gift Show?

General Exposition Services (GES) is the general service contractor and handles furnishings, while electrical and internet are ordered through the Expo Center's own system. Convention Data Services runs registration and lead retrieval. We place each order and put every estimate on our proposal.

How do we book a hotel for the Philadelphia Gift Show?

Connections Housing is the one housing company the show approves, so book there. A shuttle loops between the Expo Center, the Hilton Garden Inn and the Hampton Inn & Suites from 8 to 10 a.m. and 4 to 6 p.m., and parking at the Expo Center is free.

Can we reuse the booth at other gift shows?

A shelving booth built on aluminum frame packs flat and travels. Gift and home lines carry the same kit to Atlanta Market, Shoppe Object in New York or the Ocean City Resort Gift Expo, and we store it in Fishkill, NY between markets with new graphics as collections change.

Before you sign for Philadelphia Gift Show
