At the RNG Coalition's conference, companies show up as hosts and sponsors, so we build what that format allows: branded meeting rooms, reception signage and portable displays. The latest edition is at the Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach in Dana Point, where we plan around resort deliveries and no self-parking.

What makes RNG Conference different, and how we build for it
The RNG CONFERENCE is the RNG Coalition's annual meeting, which the Coalition calls the renewable gas industry's premier annual conference, and it has run each December at the Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach in Dana Point since at least 2024. It is a policy and deal meeting, not an expo: the 2026 program covers the RFS and cellulosic biofuel category, energy tax credits, Canada's Clean Fuel Regulations, state clean fuel standards, maritime demand in Asia and Europe, Mexico's emerging market and biogenic CO2. Companies appear as Gold Hosts, reception and lunch sponsors, and sponsors of the golf day at Monarch Beach Golf Links and the Dolphin & Whale Watching Charter. The Coalition's booth floor is a separate event, RNG WORKS.
Developers come to hear where RFS, LCFS and tax credit policy is heading and to meet offtakers and lenders; they want short, private conversations about specific projects.
Gas buyers and utilities compare supply, certification and registry terms, and they expect counterparties to explain volumes and timing in plain numbers.
Banks, accountants and investors meet the developers they finance; a host package that includes a meeting room gives them a quiet place to do it.

RNG Conference rules that shape your booth
Two designated meeting rooms are available first come, first served and reserved for top-tier Hosts (2026 FAQ); other sponsors use seating areas around the resort. We size the kit to what your package includes: a full room setup or a portable table display.
Companies that want to hand out merchandise contact the Coalition events team first, per the 2026 FAQ. We keep that contact in the loop on giveaways and graphics before anything goes to production.
Non-members register as Non-Member returning when they or their company attended before, while first-time attendees from new companies are welcome under their own category (2026 FAQ). We help new sponsors pick the right category before staff travel and printing are booked.
Each registrant gets one non-transferable badge to wear at all official events; sharing, duplicating or reselling badges is prohibited and a lost badge costs $25 to reprint (2026). We time setup around the badge counter, open Monday 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. in 2026.
Hotel block rooms require an active event registration, cancelling the registration may forfeit the room, and no overflow hotel is contracted (2026). We book our project manager's room inside the block as soon as your sponsorship is confirmed.

A paid add-on round on the conference's first day in 2026, filled first come, first served, with pairing requests about two weeks before; a sponsorable setting for client hosting.

Evening receptions on each conference day carry an open bar and heavy hors d'oeuvres, and they are where sponsors are seen. We print lightweight backdrops, bar fronts and table signs sized for resort ballrooms and cleared with the Coalition's events team before they ship.
3Pack light for a resort
The resort has no self-parking and validates no parking, and there is no overflow hotel. We ship hand-carry cases and tube graphics your staff can bring by car service, and send anything larger through the resort's receiving desk with labels for your room.
4Ask before handing out merchandise
The Coalition asks companies that want to distribute merchandise to contact its events team first. We plan giveaways as part of the sponsor kit, so tote bags or golf items for the Monarch Beach Golf Links round are cleared before production.

Logistics for RNG Conference 2027, handled
The RNG Coalition has not announced the 2027 venue. The 2024, 2025 and 2026 editions use the Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort & Club in Dana Point, 22 miles from John Wayne Airport, per the Coalition's FAQ, with a room block that requires an active registration, no overflow hotel and no self-parking. A resort meeting has no exhibit hall, freight yard or show contractor, so we build portable kits: fabric backdrops, printed signage and screen stands that travel as checked cases or arrive through hotel receiving, and our project manager sets them up with your team.

RNG CONFERENCE 2027 dates are not confirmed yet; the Coalition's calendar lists nothing past 2026. The latest published edition runs December 7–10, 2026; the 2025 conference ran December 1–4 and the 2024 conference December 9–12, all four-day meetings in early December.
Where is the RNG Conference 2027 held?
The 2027 location is not confirmed yet. The 2024, 2025 and 2026 conferences are all at the Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort & Club in Dana Point, California, on the Orange County coast, per the RNG Coalition's calendar of events.
Does the RNG Conference have an exhibit hall?
The RNG Coalition does not describe an exhibit hall or tabletops for the conference. Companies take part as hosts and sponsors, and top-tier Hosts can reserve one of two designated meeting rooms. For booths, the Coalition runs RNG WORKS, its technical workshop and trade expo.
How can a company get visibility at the RNG Conference?

Who attends the RNG Conference?
The Coalition aims the conference at executives, principals and decision-makers across the RNG value and supply chain. The Coalition itself counts more than 260 member companies, which together represent more than 98% of North American RNG production by volume.
Can non-members attend the RNG Conference?
First-time attendees from companies that have never attended are welcome. Non-members whose company attended before register as Non-Member returning, per the Coalition FAQ, and hosts and sponsors book through the sponsor registration, which sends a sponsor kit within minutes.
What does registration include?
For 2026, registration covers all general sessions, the Monday opening reception, breakfast, lunch and an evening reception on Tuesday and Wednesday, and breakfast and lunch on Thursday. Evening receptions include an open bar and heavy hors d'oeuvres; golf and the cruise are paid add-ons.
What is the RNG Conference cancellation policy?
Written cancellations 30 or more days before the event get a full refund less a $100 administrative fee; inside 30 days, or for no-shows, there is no refund or credit. Golf, charters and tours are final sale, and transfers within the same organization are allowed by email.
Where should we stay for the RNG Conference?
For 2026 the Coalition holds a group-rate block at the host resort, open only to registered attendees and valid on contracted nights; Leadership, Diamond and Premier sponsors get designated room holds. There is no overflow hotel, and 2027 housing is not confirmed yet.
Which airport serves the RNG Conference?
For the Dana Point resort, John Wayne Airport is 22 miles away, Los Angeles International about 65 miles and San Diego International about 68 miles, per the Coalition's FAQ. The resort offers no self-parking, so plan car service for staff and display cases.

Is the RNG Conference worth attending for equipment suppliers?
It suits gas upgrading, compression and measurement suppliers who want to meet RNG developers, offtakers and financiers in one place for four days. Product demonstrations belong at RNG WORKS or BIOGAS AMERICAS; the December conference is for relationships and policy.
