What makes WasteExpo different, and how we build for it
WasteExpo is the waste, recycling and organics show run by Informa Markets with the National Waste & Recycling Association and Waste360. The West Hall floor is a working yard: collection trucks, balers and compactors sit next to software demos, and 9,000+ buyers come to compare them side by side across 90+ product categories. Around the hall, the Food Recovery Forum, the Waste360 Healthcare Waste Conference, SWANA Certification Courses, Sustainability Talks and the Waste360/Stifel Investor Summit pull in the public-sector directors, facility operators and investors who sign purchase orders. Your booth competes with full-size vehicles for attention, so it has to read at truck scale from the aisle and work at sample scale up close.
A clear look at the truck or body feature they are buying, cab and hopper access that is safe to climb, and a table where route costs and uptime can be discussed away from the crowd.
A simple service story with labeled input and output samples, program references they can take back to council, and staff who can talk procurement timelines and grant funding.
Sorting, baling and digestion equipment shown with the material before and after, throughput numbers on the wall, and a specialist who can walk a site drawing.

Booth options for WasteExpo 2027
Pick a footprint. We’ll price it as a rental, a custom build, or a hybrid.
WasteExpo floors are set by the truck builders and body manufacturers, whose islands run 40×40 and larger with vehicles parked inside. Equipment suppliers, software companies and container makers fill the 10×20 to 20×30 range. Most Purple clients here choose a 20×20 island with one hero machine or a 10×20 with a demo unit and a meeting nook.

One container, cart or component on a plinth, a labeled input and output sample tray and a single screen for a route or fleet dashboard.

A hero machine with clear inspection access on two sides, a hanging sign visible across West Hall, a software demo bar and an open meeting area.
See 20×20 rental booths →
A full collection vehicle or sorting line with a viewing platform, a guided input-to-output material station, private meeting room and storage for spare samples.
See 20×30 rental booths →All-in 2026 ranges for design, structure, graphics, installation and dismantle; booth space, drayage and show services are separate. A custom-built booth runs roughly $100 to $250 per square foot depending on finish level. A rental of the same footprint usually lands at 35 to 50 percent of the purchase price for one show. Designing for waste, recycling and organics equipment at WasteExpo
Four things we get right for WasteExpo exhibitors

Give the machine an inspection edge
We place each truck, baler or sorter so the feature an operator came to see faces open floor inside your space, not the aisle. Counters, graphics and furniture stay clear of the hopper, the arm or the feed so a group can examine it without spilling into traffic.

Make the material flow visible
Three labeled stations, input sample, process and output, sit beside the equipment on durable trays with wipeable finishes and restock storage below. Glass, film, organics and mixed recyclables are handled in sealed containers so the comparison stays clean through three show days.

Build the deck for real weights
Equipment weights, footprint and access points go into the brief before any wall is drawn. We engineer raised decks, ramps and floor protection to the machine's actual mass, plan forklift paths for placement and keep utilities and demo power routed where they cannot be tripped on.

Give the operator a working table
Fleet, route and facility software wins on one recognizable decision, so we build a guided screen at standing height with a local demo that runs without a live connection. A table for site drawings and route maps sits within sight of the equipment, with quiet enough space to talk numbers.

Concept rendering
Every proposal comes with a rendering like this

Logistics for WasteExpo 2027, handled
West Hall opened in 2021 and is the newest building on the LVCC campus, with high clear heights, column-free spans, generous rigging points and the best truck docks on site. Las Vegas is a union venue: forklifts, pallet jacks and contract labor go through the show contractor and Teamsters Local 631, and drayage is billed per hundredweight with stacked surcharges. Purple files as your Exhibitor Appointed Contractor 30 days out, consolidates your crates onto one bill of lading, ships to the advance warehouse so the booth is on the floor on day one of install, and coordinates vehicle drive-in through the marshaling yard. Renaissance, Westgate and Resorts World are a Vegas Loop ride or short walk from West Hall.
Hall rules, drayage estimates and freight deadlines for this building are in our Las Vegas Convention Center exhibitor guide.

WasteExpo exhibitor questions
Questions exhibitors ask us before WasteExpo
How much does a 20×20 at WasteExpo cost?
A 20×20 rental island with your graphics runs $16,000 to $40,000 and a custom 20×20 runs $50,000 to $120,000, including design, structure, graphics and installation. A reinforced deck for a baler or a truck display adds to that, so send equipment weights and we return a fixed number.
Can you place a collection truck inside our booth at West Hall?
Yes. We take the vehicle dimensions, weight and the angle you want operators to see, design the surrounding structure around it, plan the drive-in through the marshaling yard and have our crew on the floor when the truck arrives so the build finishes around it.
Can we rent a booth for WasteExpo?
Yes. Rental structures with printed graphics, custom equipment decks and hybrids of the two are all available. Many first-time WasteExpo exhibitors start with a 10×20 rental around one demo unit and move to a custom island once the show proves itself.
When do we need to decide?
Design sign-off by the end of February gives a comfortable 30 to 45 day build and an early April ship to the Las Vegas advance warehouse. Later is possible; the trade-off is choice of finishes, rigging availability and freight cost, so the earlier we start, the more options you keep.
Do you handle the show contractor orders and drayage?
Yes. We read the WasteExpo exhibitor kit, file the EAC form and certificate of insurance, order material handling, rigging and electrical, consolidate your shipment so you pay one drayage minimum, and keep you copied on every deadline.
