Drillers, plant builders and a geothermal-heated resort: GRC 2027 booths in Reno
We build GRC booths that show a geothermal developer how your bit, pump, turbine or software fits the well and the plant, at a Reno resort that heats its own water and systems with a geothermal well. Exhibit space is selling now, and the cheapest rates end November 14, 2026.

What makes Geothermal Rising Conference different, and how we build for it
The GRC is the annual meeting of the U.S.geothermal industry, run by Geothermal Rising, and in 2027 it comes to Reno, in a state with more than 25 geothermal plants and capacity second only to California. The Peppermill Resort itself sits on the Moana hot springs anomaly and heats with geothermal fluid around the clock. The 2026 exhibitor list shows how wide the floor has become: oilfield names such as Halliburton, SLB, Baker Hughes and NOV beside Ormat, Turboden and Fuji Electric, plus Quaise Energy and Utah FORGE. Geothermal Rising expects 1,500+ attendees, expects 2027 to be the largest GRC to date, and puts the Sunday opening reception and Tuesday evening reception in the hall.
Equipment that survives brine, scale and high temperature: references from plants like theirs, materials data and service coverage in the Great Basin.
Bits, casing, cementing, logging tools and simulation software shown with the temperatures and depths they are rated for.
Clear project economics, a sense of who can deliver at scale, and contacts at labs and universities working on enhanced geothermal.
Your team in Reno
Built in two shops, run by one project manager
We fabricate in our own Fishkill, NY shop and our Las Vegas hub, then ship to the Peppermill Resort, where our own project manager leads the install with vetted local labor. Turnaround is a predictable 30 to 45 days, with pre-show QA and secure storage for your Geothermal Rising Conference booth.
When your team gets to Reno, the booth is lit and stocked. You just show up.
New at Geothermal Rising Conference 2027
- A new 8×10 booth
Geothermal Rising adds an 8×10 stand for 2027, aimed at first-time exhibitors, from $4,400 for members and $3,600 for nonprofits and labs. It lowers the cost of a first GRC, and we build a kit that later expands to a 10×20. source
- Reno, at a geothermal-heated resort
After Houston in 2026, GRC 2027 moves to the Peppermill Resort in Reno, in a state with more than 25 geothermal plants. Expect Great Basin developers and operators in the room, and plan freight to a resort dock rather than a downtown hotel. source
- The largest GRC so far
Geothermal Rising anticipates 1,500+ attendees for 2027 and expects the largest GRC to date. More people means more competition for attention in the hall, so the booth needs one clear message visible from the aisle. source
Inside Geothermal Rising Conference 2027
Rules that shape your Geothermal Rising Conference booth
GRC's 10×10 package is pipe-and-drape (eight feet high at the back, three at the sides) with a 6-foot skirted table, two chairs and an ID sign (2027 prospectus). We build freestanding walls in front of the drape and swap the table for a counter.
Anyone using a complimentary registration must register through the online portal by the deadline; none are granted on site without GRC staff approval (2027 prospectus). We remind you of the date with the shipping schedule.
The 10×20 and 20×20 island are not offered at the nonprofit, government, lab and university rate, which covers only 10×10 and 8×10 spaces (2027 prospectus). For institutions we build graphics, a counter and lighting that fit inside those two footprints.
In 2026 member pricing required a current membership by September 1, and Geothermal Rising verified it and adjusted the price if not (2026 contract). We price your booth at the rate that will actually apply.
Programs worth planning for
Tuesday, October 26 recognition of the 2027 award winners; an exclusive $7,500 sponsorship includes presenting an award.
A 20-minute session that unlocks at Gold ($20,000 combined exhibit and sponsor spend) and Diamond levels; a way to present your technology beyond the booth.
Student programs including the Best Student Poster Award and a Monday-to-Wednesday Job Fair with a headshot station; sponsorships from $500 to $5,500.
Conference field trips with a $3,500 sponsor option, and the GRC Annual Golf Tournament on Sunday, October 24, 2027 in Reno.
GRC is the U.S. geothermal industry's own annual meeting; choose it over POWERGEN when your buyers are geothermal developers, drillers and binary-plant operators rather than the gas and nuclear fleet owners who dominate POWERGEN. Compare every energy and utilities show we build for →

Popular booth sizes at Geothermal Rising Conference
Geothermal Rising sells 8×10, 10×10 and 10×20 booths and a 20×20 open island, with member, standard and nonprofit rates that rise in three steps from November 2026. We recommend a 10×20 for a drilling-tool, pump or software company and the 20×20 island when you bring a turbine section, wellhead or skid.

A drill bit, logging tool or pump on a plinth, a well cross-section graphic showing where it works, and a stand-up table for a developer meeting.

04 Designing for geothermal drilling, power plant and reservoir technology companies at Geothermal Rising Conference
Four things we get right for Geothermal Rising Conference exhibitors
1Show the well and the plant together
GRC visitors span drillers and power plant owners. A single cross-section from reservoir to turbine, with your product marked on it, lets both groups place you in seconds; we print it at full wall height so it reads across the Peppermill ballroom.
2Oilfield tools need a geothermal story
With Halliburton, SLB, Baker Hughes and NOV on the 2026 list, oil and gas suppliers compete for the same developers. Lead with temperature rating, scale resistance and a geothermal well you worked on, not your shale record.
3Plan for receptions in the hall
Geothermal Rising opens the conference with a Sunday reception in the exhibit hall and holds a packed Tuesday evening reception there too. We light the booth for evening events and keep the aisle edge open so your team can host.
4Start small with the new 8×10
New for 2027, an 8×10 stand from $4,400 for members gives first-time exhibitors a way in. We design a compact back wall and counter for it that can later become the center of a 10×20.

Where you could be at Geothermal Rising Conference 2027
GRC 2027 takes over the Peppermill Resort in Reno, with exhibits in the resort's event space; the 2027 floor plan goes to exhibitors after their application.
Exhibit hall
Home to the Sunday opening reception, the Tuesday evening networking reception and student poster signage, with booths from 8×10 to a 20×20 island.
Our advice Receptions bring the whole conference in after hours; we light the booth for evening and keep the counter at the aisle.
Job Fair and headshot station
Geothermal Rising runs a Job Fair Monday to Wednesday with a sponsored headshot photo station alongside it.
Our advice If you are hiring, a careers panel on the back wall and a QR link to openings turn Job Fair traffic into applicants.
Peppermill lobby screens
Lobby digital signage at the Peppermill is sold to sponsors: $10,000 for all four sides or $4,500 for one side.
Our advice We match lobby artwork to the booth graphics so a visitor who sees your lobby ad recognizes the booth.

Logistics for Geothermal Rising Conference 2027, handled
GRC 2027 runs in the Peppermill Resort on South Virginia Street in Reno, a resort property rather than a convention center, so freight follows the decorator's shipping instructions and the resort's receiving rules. GRC dresses each 10×10 in pipe-and-drape with a skirted table and chairs, so we design walls that stand in front of the drape. Geothermal Rising sends the floor plan after your application, and complimentary registrations must be claimed online before the deadline. Our project manager installs with vetted local labor and books outbound freight before the closing mixer.
What Purple handles
- Walls designed to stand in front of the GRC drape
- Well-to-turbine cross-section graphics in house
- Plinths and cradles for bits, wellheads and turbine sections
- Decorator orders and resort receiving instructions
- Lighting for evening receptions in the hall
- An 8×10 starter kit that grows into a 10×20

How much does a booth at GRC 2027 cost?
Through November 14, 2026, a 10×20 costs $8,250 for Geothermal Rising organization members and $9,750 for non-members, and a 20×20 island $15,400 and $18,200. Prices rise November 15 and again February 16, 2027, when a member 10×20 reaches $10,500. A corner adds $250.
What comes with a GRC booth?
A 10×10 at GRC comes with drapes (8 feet behind, 3 feet at the sides), a 6-foot skirted table, two chairs and a sign, plus one full-conference and one exhibit-only registration. Complimentary registrations must be claimed online by the deadline; none are granted on site without approval.
How many people attend the Geothermal Rising Conference?
Geothermal Rising anticipates 1,500+ attendees in 2027 and says attendance doubled over the last five years. GRC 2026 drew people from 48 states and 38 countries, and GRC 2025 had 130+ presenting authors.

What is the GRC exhibit deadline?
November 14, 2026 is the last day for Advanced Early Bird rates, the lowest of three price steps. Standard Early Bird runs November 15, 2026 to February 15, 2027, and standard rates apply from February 16 until space sells out.
Is there a small booth option at GRC 2027?
The 8×10 booth is new for 2027, aimed at first-time exhibitors and open to all organizations: $4,400 for members, $5,200 for non-members and $3,600 for nonprofits, government, labs and universities at Advanced Early Bird rates.
Can nonprofits and labs exhibit at a discount?
Nonprofits, government agencies, national labs and universities pay $4,500 for a 10×10 and $3,600 for an 8×10 at Advanced Early Bird rates, but the 10×20 and 20×20 island are not offered at that rate.
When do we need to sign off a GRC booth?
By mid-August 2027 for a custom build, leaving 30 to 45 days of production in September and an early-October ship. Book the space well before that: rates step up in November 2026 and February 2027.
Are there sponsorships at GRC 2027?
Sponsor and exhibit spend combine into Bronze at $10,000, Silver at $15,000, Gold at $20,000 and Diamond at $25,000. Gold and above add a 20-minute hosted technical satellite session; single items range from a $250 golf hole to a $15,000 water bottle sponsorship.
Can we reuse a GRC booth at other energy shows?
The same plinths and walls carry to POWERGEN, where geothermal sits among generation technologies, and to the SPE Hydraulic Fracturing Technology Conference for drilling suppliers. We keep the build in modules and reprint the well graphics for each audience.
