ANS Winter Conference 2027Exhibitor guide: booth costs, dates and deadlines in Washington

The 2027 ANS Winter Conference & Expo runs October 31 to November 3, 2027, with the Young Professionals Congress on October 30 and ANTPC 2027 running October 31 to November 4. The 2027 expo schedule is not confirmed yet; the 2026 prospectus opens the Phoenix expo on the first evening and runs it two full days.

The 2027 ANS Winter Conference is held at The Westin Washington, DC Downtown, 999 9th Street NW, per the ANS meetings calendar. The 2026 edition is set for the Arizona Grand Resort & Spa in Phoenix, November 15–18, 2026, and the 2025 Winter Conference was in Washington, DC.

An ANS Winter exhibit space cost $4,000 for ANS organization members and $4,500 for non-members in the 2026 prospectus, with one full conference registration and electrical extra; 2027 prices are not confirmed yet. Sponsorships from $3,500 to $30,000 add space discounts or a free space, and our graphics and tabletop kit is quoted separately.

In 2026 each 10×10 space included an 8-foot backdrop, 3-foot side panels, a 6-foot table with two chairs, a company sign and a wastebasket. We design the graphic for that backdrop and a tabletop display for the table rather than shipping a booth frame.

ANS does not allow selling, price posting or order taking on the expo floor, and it bars outboarding and suitcasing, meaning off-floor events or non-exhibitors soliciting at the venue. Use the table for technical demonstrations and leads, and schedule commercial follow-ups after the meeting.

The 2026 Phoenix exhibitor list included Westinghouse Electric Company, BWXT, Mirion Technologies, Hayward Tyler, HYTORC, NANO Nuclear Energy, Idaho National Lab, Argonne and PNNL, plus universities and software firms. Exhibitors are reactor vendors, component and instrument makers, fuel and engineering firms and research institutions.

Utilities and operators, technology developers and suppliers, government and regulatory agencies, national labs and universities, consultants and students. Based on prior Winter Conferences, ANS reports that 65% influence or make purchasing decisions, 600+ organizations take part and 18 countries are represented.

The American Nuclear Society runs it through its conferences department, which handles exhibit contracts, space assignments and sponsorships. ANS also runs the Annual Conference in June; in 2027 that meeting is June 13–16 near Orlando.

Under the 2026 contract, exhibitors list three preferred locations and ANS assigns space first-come, first-served once contract and payment arrive. Spaces may not be transferred or reassigned, sharing needs ANS's written approval, and contracts received by the marketing deadline go into conference materials.

The 2026 ANS exhibitor contract prohibits photographs or video without ANS's prior written consent, while ANS may photograph your display for its own promotion. If you want booth footage, we request consent from ANS before the meeting.

The 2026 prospectus sets expo setup for 1 to 5 p.m. on the opening Sunday and breakdown for 3:30 to 5 p.m. on Tuesday; tearing down early without approval brings penalties including priority-point deductions or a fine. Nobody under 18 may be on the floor during setup or breakdown.

For a nuclear supplier it is a low-cost way to meet utility engineers, national-lab researchers and reactor developers in one room: a 2026 space cost $4,000 for members. It is a technical meeting, so value comes from relationships and leads rather than floor orders.
