Watts on the floor: RE+ 2027 solar and storage booths in Las Vegas
At RE+ a utility buyer wants the inverter, the battery cabinet or the tracker in front of them, with ratings at eye level and a quiet table behind. At the LVCC we plan Freeman freight, West Hall floor loads and the 400 sq ft hanging-sign rule from day one.

What makes RE+ different, and how we build for it
RE+ is the old Solar Power International grown into North America's largest clean energy show, owned jointly by SEIA, the solar trade association, and SEPA, the Smart Electric Power Alliance, so every booth fee funds their research and advocacy. It moves to the Las Vegas Convention Center for 2026 to 2028, with exhibits across the West, North and Central Halls. The floor mixes module makers and inverter brands with transformer, switchgear and BESS suppliers chasing utility work: 61% of 2025 attendees named investor-owned utilities as a primary end user. Show-floor theaters such as Storage Central and the Grid Edge Theater, the Spotlight Country Pavilion (Italy in 2026) and the U.S. Installer Awards give the hall its own landmarks.
They are pricing projects for the next two years, so they ask about bankability, delivery slots, U.S. content and who stands behind the warranty, and they want a datasheet they can take back to procurement.
Interconnection, protection and storage engineers want to see the transformer, PCS or switchgear itself, with nameplate data, test certificates and a person who can talk short-circuit ratings without a script.
Residential and C&I buyers walk the floor for margins, stock positions and install time; a live mounting demo or a cutaway inverter answers more questions than a brochure wall.
Your team in Las Vegas
From our two shops to the RE+ floor
Our Fishkill, NY production shop and our Las Vegas hub build the booth, we ship it to the Las Vegas Convention Center, and our own project manager runs the RE+ install on the floor with vetted local labor. Turnaround is a predictable 30 to 45 days, with pre-show QA and secure storage for your RE+ booth.
Your team walks into a lit, stocked booth. You just show up.
Inside RE+ 2027
RE+ rules that shape your booth
RE+ 26 rules cap inline displays at 10 feet at the rear and 4 feet up front, perimeter at 12, peninsulas at 16 and islands at 20 feet, with a 6-foot break in every 30 feet of solid wall. We draw every wall and tower to the cap for your space.
Signs hang only over peninsulas, split islands and islands of 400 sq ft or more, between 18 and 24 feet, with Freeman as exclusive rigger and plans filed with the booth diagram. We engineer the sign, label its crate separately and file the drawings.
Electric vehicles indoors must be charged between 20% and 50%, may not be charged inside the building, need 10 feet between them and an Electric Vehicle Display form each. We plan EV and charger demos around external power and file the form.
West, North and Central Hall floors carry 450 lb per sq ft, the Central 3 concourse only 175 lb or 1,500 lb per wheel, and equipment over 250,000 lb must be declared. We size skids and spreader plates to the hall before freight ships.
Exhibitors follow the LVCC's union requirements; Freeman is exclusive for drayage, rigging, hanging truss and electrical, and outside builders need a Notice of Intent to Hire an EAC plus insurance. We file both so the labor on your booth is cleared for move-in.
Programs worth planning for
A 10×10 in the Innovation Zone with table, chairs, carpet, 4 staff and 10 guest passes, for clean energy companies under 20 employees, $3 million in funding and $1 million in revenue; RE+ 27 applications are open.
A national pavilion with its own networking reception and a slot in the Global Markets Summit; Italy is the 2026 Spotlight Country with the Italian Trade Agency, after Denmark in 2025 and Germany in 2024.
EUPD Research's free certification for U.S. solar installers, presented at a reception in the Installation & Operations Theater on Wednesday, November 18, 2026, 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Semi-private rooms near the North, Central and West Halls for exhibitors with a 10×20 or larger booth or a $7,500 sponsorship; 2026 prices run $7,500 to $20,000 by size.
RE+ is the largest U.S. clean energy floor and the one where utility, transformer and storage buyers concentrate; choose it over Intersolar & Energy Storage North America when you sell utility-scale or grid equipment rather than residential and C&I gear. 02 Booths & pricing for RE+ 2027
Popular booth sizes at RE+
RE+ sells space by the square foot, from 10×10 inline units with 8-foot back drape to islands of 400 sq ft and up, and a hanging sign needs a footprint of 400 sq ft or more. Equipment makers with a transformer or BESS container usually need an island; we recommend a 10×20 inline for a module, racking or software line.

Two modules on a tilted rack at the 10-foot back-half height, an inverter on a plinth in front at 4 feet, and a counter for distributor pricing talks.

Case study · Shapoorji Pallonji
Shapoorji Pallonji at an engineering and infrastructure exhibition
A structured, powerful booth for a global engineering group founded in 1865, built to communicate scale, trust and engineering excellence.
Shapoorji Pallonji needed an engineering group's scale to read in one glance at an infrastructure show; RE+ asks the same of a transformer or storage maker facing utility buyers.

04 Designing for solar module, inverter, battery storage, racking, EV charging, grid and balance-of-system brands at RE+
Four things we get right for RE+ exhibitors
1Heavy gear goes in West Hall math
RE+ 26 publishes 450 pounds per square foot for the West, North and Central hall floors but 175 pounds in the Central 3 concourse, and asks to be told of anything over 250,000 pounds. We plan transformer and BESS placement, skids and forklift paths against the hall your booth lands in before we design the stand around it.
2Read the height table first
RE+ caps inline booths at 10 feet at the rear and 4 feet at the aisle edge, perimeter at 12, peninsulas at 16 and islands at 20, with a 6-foot break in every 30 feet of solid wall. We draw module walls and tower signs to the exact limit of your booth type, and stamp towers over 16 feet.
3Batteries stay between 20% and 50%
Electric vehicles shown at RE+ must hold their batteries between 20% and 50% charge, with no charging indoors and an Electric Vehicle Display form for each vehicle. For EV chargers and vehicle-to-grid demos we design around external power and a simulated charge screen, so nothing on the stand needs a live charge session.
4Utility buyers need a room
With 61% of 2025 attendees buying for investor-owned utilities, many RE+ conversations are interconnection and supply contracts. RE+ rents modular rooms near the halls to 10×20-and-up exhibitors, from $7,500 in 2026; inside an island we build an enclosed room with power, screen and a door that shuts.

Where you could be at RE+ 2027
RE+ 26 places exhibits in three LVCC halls, and its rules give each hall its own floor load and ceiling. The 2027 hall plan is not confirmed yet; these are the halls RE+ uses now.
West Hall
Floor load 450 lb per sq ft, loading docks rated 250 lb per sq ft, 42-foot ceiling, no carpet; notify show management for equipment over 250,000 lb.
Our advice The best home for containerized storage, transformers and tall islands; we still order flooring because the hall is bare concrete.
North Hall
Ceilings of 35 feet in North 1 and 2 and 33 feet in North 3 and 4, lower under the skywalk and near entrances; 450 lb per sq ft floor.
Our advice Hanging signs top out at 24 feet anyway, but we check the skywalk zones before placing a sign or tower.
Central Hall
Ceilings of 25 feet in Central 1 and 2, 31 to 35 feet in Central 3 to 5; the Central 3 concourse (booths C5400 to C5599) is limited to 175 lb per sq ft.
Our advice If your booth number falls in the C5400 range, heavy equipment needs a different plan or a different space.

Logistics for RE+ 2027, handled
Freeman is the official contractor at RE+, controls the LVCC docks and is exclusive for rigging, hanging truss and electrical, and every carrier checks in at the Freeman marshalling yard on West Serene Avenue before a target move-in slot. The advance warehouse on West Sunset Road took RE+ 26 freight from October 13 to November 5, 2026, and holds it up to 30 days. Your own staff may build their booth, but anything through the freight doors goes through Freeman under the LVCC's union rules. We file the EAC notice and insurance, ship to the warehouse, and your Purple project manager leads move-in with the labor the LVCC's union rules require.
Hall rules, drayage estimates and freight deadlines for the building that hosts RE+ are in our Las Vegas Convention Center exhibitor guide.

RE+ exhibitor questions
Questions exhibitors ask us before RE+
When is RE+ 2027?
RE+ 2027 runs November 15–18, 2027 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Before it, RE+ 26 runs November 16–19, 2026 in the same building, with Full Conference education starting Monday and the show floor open Tuesday through Thursday. RE+ 2028 is set for November 13–16, 2028.
Where is RE+ held?
RE+ moved to the Las Vegas Convention Center for its 2026, 2027 and 2028 editions, after RE+ 25 filled The Venetian Expo, Caesars Forum and Caesars Palace. RE+ 26 exhibits run across the West, North and Central Halls; the 2027 hall plan is not confirmed yet.
How much does booth space at RE+ cost?
The RE+ 26 base rate is $52 per square foot, with discounted rates as low as $42 for RE+ sponsors, SEIA Premium members and SEPA members. The 2027 rate is not confirmed yet. Our build is separate: a 20×20 custom island typically runs $50,000 to $120,000, a 10×20 rental $7,500 to $15,000.
How tall can our booth be at RE+?
RE+ 26 rules set 10 feet at the rear of an inline booth and 4 feet along its front half, 12 feet for perimeter booths, 16 feet for peninsulas and 20 feet for islands and split islands. Towers over 16 feet need a licensed engineer's stamp, and every 30 feet of solid wall needs a 6-foot break.
Can we hang a sign at RE+?
Hanging signs are allowed only over peninsula, split-island or island booths of at least 400 square feet, between 18 and 24 feet high, in the Central, North and West Halls. Freeman is the exclusive rigger, plans go in with the booth diagram, and the sign ships to the advance warehouse in its own labeled container.
Can we show an EV or a battery system in our RE+ booth?
Vehicles are allowed with fuel and battery limits: EV batteries charged between 20% and 50% indoors, no indoor charging, 10 feet between electric vehicles and an Electric Vehicle Display form for each one. Machinery sits 6 inches back from the aisle, and Freeman needs a freight questionnaire for heavy equipment.
Can we set up our own booth at the LVCC?
RE+ lets exhibitors install and dismantle their own booths, and full-time employees may hand-carry small items, without dollies. Anything coming through the freight doors is handled by Freeman. Outside builders must be named on the Notice of Intent to Hire an EAC with a certificate of insurance, or security keeps them off the floor.
How does freight work at RE+?
For RE+ 26 the Freeman advance warehouse at 6675 W Sunset Road received freight from October 13 to November 5, 2026, weekdays 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and direct shipments reach the LVCC from November 12. Carriers check in at the marshalling yard on W Serene Avenue first. Freeman is recommended but not exclusive for transport.
What comes with a booth at RE+?
Each 10×10 is set with an 8-foot blue back drape, 3-foot side drape and a floor number sticker; booths of 300 sq ft or less get an ID sign. The LVCC halls are not carpeted, so flooring, electrical and furniture are yours to order. Exhibitor insurance is included in the space cost.
How many badges do RE+ exhibitors get?
RE+ 26 gives 4 exhibitor passes and 10 customer invitations for a 100 sq ft booth, 6 passes and 1 Full Conference pass for 200 sq ft, and 12 passes plus 2 Full Conference passes for 400 sq ft. Extra booth staff cost $365 for members and $515 for non-members.
How many people attend RE+?
RE+ 25 counted more than 37,000 attendees and 1,325 exhibiting companies in Las Vegas in 2025, with visitors from 115+ countries; 17% came from outside the U.S. RE+ 24 in Anaheim reported 40,000+ attendees and 1,300+ exhibitors. Figures for the 2027 edition are not confirmed yet.
Who exhibits at RE+?
The RE+ 26 list runs from module and inverter makers such as Adani Solar, APsystems and Yaskawa Solectria Solar to grid suppliers such as Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, HICO America, Southwire and TTE Transformers, plus test brands Megger and Fluke. Manufacturers were 9% of 2025 attendees.
Is RE+ open to the public?
RE+ is a registered trade event: every badge is bought or issued through registration, from Expo Hall Only passes to Full Conference. Nobody under 16 may enter the floor during installation, show days or dismantle, and exhibitor passes are for employees of exhibiting companies only.
We are a manufacturer from outside the U.S. Can you run our RE+ booth?
We handle the U.S. side for overseas exhibitors: design, production in our shop, freight to the Freeman advance warehouse, Freeman orders, installation led by your Purple project manager and storage between editions. Customs brokerage stays with your forwarder. RE+ also publishes travel resources for international teams and runs a Spotlight Country Pavilion.
Before you sign for RE+
Five questions to ask any exhibit builder for RE+:
- Are all fees on paper, including what the contractor at the Las Vegas Convention Center bills?
- Does your own shop build the booth, or do you subcontract it?
- Does your project manager stay on the floor through install and dismantle in Las Vegas?
- What exactly is in the rental, and what does RE+ bill?
- What happens to the booth after RE+, and what does storage cost?
Common situations
Already own a booth? We refresh the graphics, repair what is worn, ship it to the Las Vegas Convention Center, install it and store it between shows. You keep the structure you paid for and bring it to RE+.
Exhibiting from outside the US? We handle the ground work for RE+: freight to the advance warehouse, show-service orders, installation and storage, with one project manager replying to your emails in your time zone.
Short on time? In two to three weeks, a rental with your graphics can be ready for Las Vegas. You will know on the first call what is realistic for your RE+ date.
