Wynn Las Vegas Exhibitor Guide
Wynn has no exhibit hall. Booths go into ballrooms, and the biggest is Cristal: 83,187 pillarless square feet under a 28 ft ceiling, built in 2020 on part of the old Desert Inn golf course. Labor is union, yet your own full-time employees may still build the booth. This guide covers Cristal, Lafite, Latour and the Encore Ballroom, the two dock areas, the rules for staff and hand-carry, and drayage.

What exhibitors ask about Wynn Las Vegas
Recent show kits at Wynn allow full-time company personnel to set up and tear down, carrying company ID such as a payroll stub. Agency temps do not count.
You may carry material in yourself if you use no carts or hand trucks. Anything that needs equipment or the dock goes through the contractor.
24 ft in the Lafite and Latour ballrooms and 25 ft in the Encore Ballroom, per the resort's capacity charts. Each show sets its own booth height limit.

Dates are from each organizer. AWS re:Invent (early December, with sessions at Wynn and Encore in past years and the expo at the Venetian) had not confirmed its 2026 venues when we checked. Transform (March 23–25, 2026 at Wynn) moves to the Fontainebleau for April 12–14, 2027. HIMSS and ServiceNow Knowledge have been listed as using Wynn alongside the Venetian in past years; HIMSS 2027 is in Chicago.
Only at Wynn Las Vegas
The Cristal Ballroom and Wynn Las Vegas's 2020 convention expansion
In February 2020 Wynn opened a 430,000 gross sq ft convention building on part of its golf course. It added 300,000 rentable square feet, including Cristal, the largest pillarless ballroom at the resort. For exhibitors, this one room is the closest thing Wynn has to an exhibit hall.
- 83,187sq ft with no pillars (351′ × 237′), so the floor plan has no columns to work around. The resort charts it at up to 336 10×10 booths
- 28 ftceiling, the tallest of the Wynn and Encore ballrooms. Your show still sets the booth height limit, and one past Wynn show needed a variance for anything above 16 ft
- Truck rampThe resort map puts a loading dock and staging area right behind Cristal, reached by a truck ramp. That is separate from the dock doors that serve Lafite and Latour
- 560,000rentable sq ft at Wynn and Encore after the expansion, with 18 new meeting rooms and a 20,106 sq ft outdoor Event Pavilion beside the course

Ballrooms & exhibit space

There is no exhibit hall: trade shows set booths in the four big ballrooms. Cristal, Lafite and Latour are in the Wynn convention wing; the Encore Ballroom is in Encore's own meeting level. Tap a ballroom for its size, ceiling and the resort's own 10×10 booth count.

Cristal Ballroom

Divides into seven sections, with a 28′ × 59′ stage. The resort map marks loading dock doors on the Lafite and Latour side of the convention wing.

Wynn Las Vegas union rules: what your team can do itself
Nevada is a right-to-work state, but show labor at Wynn runs under the general contractor's union agreements. These rules come from the COUTURE 2026 exhibitor manual (Freeman) and the GES work rules for The Aesthetic Show at Wynn. Your own show kit is the final word, so check it before you plan staffing.

- Set up and tear down your exhibit, carrying company ID such as a medical card or payroll stub. Neither kit sets a booth-size cap; check yours
- Unpack and place your products, and demonstrate, test and repair them
- Hand-carry material in, as long as no dolly, cart or hand truck is used
- Plug lights into one power strip (up to 6 plugs) at the back or side of the booth, within a single 20A/120V outlet

- Teamsters Local 631: booth erection when not done by your full-time staff, plus all truck unloading, empty crates and material-handling equipment

Wynn Las Vegas exhibitor tips: what experienced teams do
Pack a payroll stub with the tools
Your full-time staff may build the booth at Wynn, but only with company ID such as a medical card or payroll stub. Temps from a labor agency do not count, so plan for Teamsters if any of your crew are not on payroll.
Tell your carrier which dock
Cristal is served by its own dock and staging area up a truck ramp. Lafite and Latour use separate dock doors on the other side of the convention wing. Put the ballroom name on every bill of lading.
Hand-carry means no dolly
You can bring material in yourself only if you carry it: no cart, hand truck or dolly. Hand-carriers may also be kept off the dock, so pack small kits into bags or cases one person can lift.
Finish the build before 5 p.m.
The COUTURE 2026 kit charges overtime after 5 p.m. on weekdays and all day on weekends. If your move-in lands on a weekend, a booth your own staff can assemble saves the most.
One power strip, six plugs
Your staff may plug booth lights into one strip of up to six plugs on a single 20A/120V outlet. Anything beyond that is electricians' work, and Edlen is the only electrical provider at Wynn and Encore, so order before the advance deadline.
Cristal's 28 ft is not your limit
The ceiling invites tall towers and hanging signs, but each show sets its own height rule. One Wynn show required a variance above 16 ft, and hanging signs have gone through the resort. Ask show management early.
The building
From the Desert Inn to a ballroom on the fairway
Wynn kept the Desert Inn's golf course when it built the resort, then gave part of it up for the convention expansion.
- 1950The Desert Inn opens on the site, with its own golf course.
- 2000Steve Wynn buys and closes the Desert Inn. Construction of the new resort begins October 31, 2002.
- 2005Wynn Las Vegas opens April 28: $2.7 billion, 2,716 rooms and about 223,000 sq ft of convention space. The golf course is redesigned with Tom Fazio.
- 2008Encore opens December 22 next door, with 2,034 rooms and 60,000 sq ft of meeting space.
- 2017The golf course closes in December for a planned lagoon project. Only the convention building goes ahead, on part of the course.
- 2019A revamped Wynn Golf Club reopens in October.
- 2020The $423 million, 430,000 gross sq ft expansion opens in February with the Cristal Ballroom, bringing Wynn and Encore to 560,000 rentable sq ft. It runs on renewable energy from the Wynn Solar Facility.
- 2022The Las Vegas Concours d'Elegance begins on the golf course.
