Produce is the booth: Global Produce & Floral Show 2027 booths in Atlanta
Produce and floral buyers judge color, pack and shelf life up close, so we build open booths around lit cold cases and a counter sized for hundreds of samples a day. Georgia is right-to-work, and we split freight as IFPA's 2026 kit required: crates to the advance warehouse, fruit and stems to show-site cold storage.

What makes Global Produce & Floral Show different, and how we build for it
IFPA sells this as the event that unites the entire fresh produce and floral supply chain under one roof, and it carries old loyalties: exhibiting history at Fresh Summit or the United Fresh Show still counts in the priority points that decide who picks booth space first. The 2026 edition opened with a day of general sessions, then gave the expo the final two days on one contiguous floor sorted into Produce, Floral, Complementary Items and Business Solutions, with the Retail Solutions Pavilion and an Innovation Hub inside. New launches sat on Fresh Ideas Showcase shelves in the lobby, and every exhibitor was entered in the Best of Show Contest.
Walmart, Costco Wholesale, H-E-B, Publix and Wegmans were on the 2026 buyer list. Their category teams want to see real fruit and stems, the pack and label they would put on shelf, and supply windows by month.
Sysco and US Foods were on the 2026 list too. Distributor buyers look for case packs, grade and size specs, fresh-cut options and proof of year-round volume, ideally from a rep who can quote freight on the spot.
The 2026 Education Festival covered FSMA 204 traceability, 2D barcodes and packaging rules, the problems these buyers carry onto the floor. They need a working demo, a sample pack in hand and a seat to map your system onto theirs.

Inside Global Produce & Floral Show 2027
Rules that shape your booth
Inline booths reach 8 feet in the rear half and 4 feet in the front half, with no hanging signs or overhead lighting; 20-foot inlines may add a center extended header. We keep cold cases low up front and light the back wall.
Islands of 400 sq ft or more may build and hang signs to 20 feet, but solid walls should cover no more than about 30% of aisle-facing sides, and walled booths are not judged for Best of Show. We design open frames.
Exhibitors who sample submit IFPA's sampling approval request, keep portions small with no full cans or bottles, sample only inside the booth and wear gloves (2026 rules). We file the form and build a guarded serving counter.
Produce and floral ship only to the show site, labeled by color for the morning they go from cold storage to your booth, while booth materials may use the advance warehouse (2026 rules). We split every shipment and print the labels.
Booths stay staffed through the final expo hour, and any exhibitor seen dismantling before 5 p.m. on the closing day loses a priority point for the following year's booth selection (2026 rules). Our project manager holds the labor until the close, then packs fast.
Programs worth planning for
Lobby display shelves, refrigerated or ambient, for exhibitors' products or services introduced in the past year, with an online listing; 2026 price $1,080 for members, $2,160 otherwise. Judges and a retailer panel pick Best Product Promo and Best Sustainable Packaging.
Every exhibitor is entered automatically in this contest for outstanding exhibits, which looks at booth design, product and service presentation and staff performance; 2026 winners received industry recognition and prizes.
In 2026 every first-time exhibitor got a veteran mentor from the Global Show Committee and first-timer booth signage; those who booked inside the pavilions also got dedicated promotion, though island booths could be limited there.

Among U.S. food shows this is the one run by the fresh produce and floral industry's own association: pick it over the NGA Show when you sell to chain, foodservice and wholesale produce teams rather than independent grocers buying for the whole store. 02 Booths & pricing for Global Produce & Floral Show 2027
Popular booth sizes at Global Produce & Floral Show
In 2026 IFPA sold space in 100 sq ft increments, from a 10×10 up to a 50×80, and treated 10, 20 and 50 feet as standard widths; 30- and 40-foot fronts had fewer placements. We recommend a 10×20 inline for a grower-shipper with one cold case, and a 20×20 or larger island for multi-category programs.

Room for the extended center header IFPA allows on 20-foot inlines, two cold cases showing every pack size and a two-seat table for program pricing.

Fewer 30-foot fronts were placed in 2026, but one buys a cut-and-serve counter with sneeze guard, a cold case with the shelf pack and label, and a buyer table set back from the sampling.

04 Designing for fresh produce, floral and fresh supply-chain companies at Global Produce & Floral Show
Four things we get right for Global Produce & Floral Show exhibitors
1Build the counter for nonstop sampling
IFPA's 2026 kit told samplers to plan on hundreds of samples a day, served inside the booth by gloved staff in small portions, with sneeze guards recommended. We build a cut-and-serve counter with that guard on the aisle side, hidden waste and glove storage, and enough undercounter cold space to restock without leaving the floor.
2Keep islands open for judging
IFPA asks islands to hold solid walls to about 30% of their aisle-facing sides, and walled booths drop out of Best of Show judging. We frame islands with open shelving, low produce tables and a hanging sign under the 20-foot limit, so buyers see your fruit from three aisles away.
3Light the fruit, not the drape
Inline booths at this show get no hanging signs or overhead lighting, and light may not glow through the back drape into a neighbor's space. We build LED strips into the 8-foot back wall and the cold case itself, tuned so berries read red and lettuce reads green under hall lighting.
Give flowers their own workflow
At the 2026 show, floral product traveled on separate refrigerated trailers with its own delivery day, and IFPA set out prep areas with running water on the floor. We build bucket stands on waterproof flooring, a covered shelf for spare stems and a buyer table set back from the water.

Logistics for Global Produce & Floral Show 2027, handled
Right-to-work law in Georgia lets your full-time employees build the booth themselves; freight handling and utilities stay with the official contractor. Purple's experience in Atlanta runs through the Georgia World Congress Center, the city's three-building convention campus, where the Exhibit Hall BC connector joins Buildings B and C into more than 1 million contiguous square feet and MARTA stops at the front door; our Atlanta drayage budget is $150 per hundredweight on a 200-pound minimum. IFPA's 2026 kit kept perishables out of the advance warehouse, so we send booth crates there and route produce and floral direct to show-site cold storage under color-coded delivery labels. Our own project manager runs install and dismantle with vetted local labor.
Hall guide
IFPA's 2026 expo ran as one contiguous floor split into buying segments, so your product category, not just your budget, set your neighbors. Here is how those segments and the central aisle shape your booth.
IFPA capped frontage here at 50 feet per company, however long the booth or however many affiliated brands shared it; added space could sit directly behind.
Our advice: If you win a Broadway spot, we design a 50-foot front with depth behind it, so the extra square footage still reads as one booth.
Fruit, vegetable and produce distributor booths, plus complementary lines such as nuts, juices, dressings, dips, dried fruit, candy and produce wash, which IFPA grouped under one buyer category.
Our advice: Your neighbors sell to the same category buyer, so we lead with product on low, lit displays rather than the tall walls IFPA discourages.
Every floral product and service exhibited together, with its own reception on the first expo day and unrefrigerated Fresh Ideas Showcase shelves, horizontal or vertical, for new floral lines.
Our advice: We plan bucket stands, waterproof flooring and a staging corner so arrangements are refreshed out of sight before buyers arrive.
Packaging, logistics, food safety, science and technology, media and training suppliers; the pavilion took companies whose main customers are retailers buying merchandising, signage or retail technology.
Our advice: Solutions buyers want proof, so we give your software or packaging a working demo station and a seated corner for integration talks.

Global Produce & Floral Show exhibitor questions
Questions exhibitors ask us before Global Produce & Floral Show
How much does a booth at the Global Produce & Floral Show 2027 cost?
For a grower-shipper, the usual starting point is a 10×20 inline: $7,500 to $15,000 as a rental or $15,000 to $45,000 custom. Space is separate; IFPA billed members $10,400 for that footprint in 2026, at $52 per square foot, and nonmembers double. Refrigerated cases, floral water and island signs move the build price most; a custom 20×20 island runs $50,000 to $120,000.
When do Global Produce & Floral Show 2027 booth applications open?
IFPA opens 2027 applications in early February 2027. For 2026, returning exhibitors applied between February 10 and 24 for early assignment, paid in full by April 7, when refunds stopped, and then picked booths in priority-point order over Zoom. We need your design sign-off by early August 2027 to build in Fishkill and land everything before move-in.
Can we rent a booth for the Global Produce & Floral Show, and what comes with it?
IFPA's own inclusions are thin: in 2026 an inline came with back drape (blue in first-timer pavilions), an ID sign and aisle carpet, while booth flooring was required and extra. Our rental adds the frame, printed graphics, lighting, a refrigerated or ambient display counter, freight, install and dismantle on one price. Frames come back to us afterward; custom counters can stay yours.
Can our own staff set up the booth in Atlanta?
Georgia is a right-to-work state, so your company's full-time employees can assemble and dismantle the booth without a union card, while freight handling and utilities go through the official contractor. If Purple installs instead, IFPA's 2026 rules called for its prior written approval of us as your exhibitor-appointed contractor, backed by proof of liability insurance, and we file that request for you.
Can we hand out samples or pour alcohol at the Global Produce & Floral Show?
Under IFPA's 2026 rules, every exhibitor who sampled filed a sampling approval form, kept portions small, served drinks in sample cups rather than full cans or bottles, wore gloves and sold nothing. Alcohol needed IFPA's written permission, traffic builders such as coffee, soda and water came from the convention center caterer, and only the caterer's bartenders poured. We file the forms and build the counter around them.
How do we ship fresh produce and flowers to the show?
Not through the advance warehouse, which had no refrigeration in IFPA's 2026 kit. Perishables and floral went direct to the show site, into refrigerated or frozen storage, and color-coded labels told the contractor which morning to bring each pallet to your booth; unlabeled product defaulted to the first expo day. Packing product on its own bill of lading with a separate weight certificate earned a 25% material handling discount.
What does drayage cost in Atlanta, and who pays it?
Your company pays it: the show's general contractor bills drayage at its published rate, a role GES held in 2026. Our Atlanta planning figure is about $150 for every 100 pounds, never billed below 200 pounds. Daily runs between cold storage and your booth were free in 2026, but refrigerated storage handling ran $1.09 per pound, so your bill covers product as well as booth crates; we pack the crates light and put the estimate on your proposal.
Where will our booth sit on the show floor?
By product segment: in 2026 IFPA placed exhibitors in Produce, Floral, Complementary Items or Business Solutions, with a Retail Solutions Pavilion for retail-focused suppliers. Within that, returning exhibitors choose in priority-point order (two points per year exhibiting, one per consecutive membership year, one per $3,000 spent with IFPA), and newcomers follow by payment date. We map your points and shortlist spots before your selection appointment.
Can we reuse our Global Show booth at other food shows?
Produce brands get the most from a kit that travels. The same cold cases, back wall and counters can follow you to the NGA Show in Las Vegas, IDDBA in Atlanta or PLMA's private label show in Rosemont. Between shows we store everything, swap graphics for each buyer group and ship it to the next advance warehouse.
When is the Global Produce & Floral Show 2027?
IFPA has set the 2027 edition for Wednesday to Friday, October 20–22, 2027, in Atlanta, Georgia. At the 2026 show in Orlando, the opening Wednesday held the State of the Industry and the Education Festival, and the expo floor opened Thursday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. IFPA opens 2027 booth applications in early February 2027.
Where is the Global Produce & Floral Show 2027 held?
In Atlanta, Georgia. The show changes city every year: Orlando hosted the 2026 show, Atlanta hosts 2027 and Anaheim 2028, and from there IFPA's published calendar continues with Orlando in 2029. Atlanta last hosted it in October 2024, when over 1,100 exhibitors from 32 countries filled a 331,000-square-foot expo floor.
How many people attend the Global Produce & Floral Show?
IFPA counted more than 3,500 buyers at the 2025 show in Anaheim, a record, meeting almost 1,100 exhibiting companies, with attendees from more than 50 countries. The 2024 Atlanta show drew over 3,000 buyers and attendees from 70-plus countries, and the 2023 Anaheim expo held over 1,160 exhibiting companies, 157 of them first-timers.
Who organizes the Global Produce & Floral Show?
The International Fresh Produce Association (IFPA), which United Fresh and the Produce Marketing Association created to supersede both of their organizations on January 1, 2022. IFPA held its first Global Produce & Floral Show in Orlando that October, and exhibiting years at the United Fresh Show or Fresh Summit still add to a company's booth priority points.
