No flights, no downtown hotel bills. Book 4–6 weeks ahead for Atlanta Market, IWF and MODEX; rush requests in 72 hours.

Atlanta runs a permanent wholesale market next door to a major convention center. Buyers at AmericasMart come to write orders; attendees at the GWCC come to compare. Here’s how that changes the team.
| Market week · AmericasMart | Trade show · GWCC | |
|---|---|---|
| Where | AmericasMart showrooms and temporaries | GWCC exhibit halls, Buildings A–C |
| Who walks in | Retail buyers with open-to-buy budgets | Industry attendees, engineers, distributors |

| Dress | Boutique polish that matches the line | Brand uniform or business casual |
| Length | Five-day markets, long hours, repeat buyers | Two- to four-day shows, peaks after sessions |

Three exhibit buildings in a row, an attached hotel and a park out front. Know which building you’re in before you set call times.
Three connected exhibit buildings joined by long concourses. The biggest shows, like IPPE, spread across all three, so we set call times by the building printed on your floor plan.
The campus hotel, opened in 2023. The new default for hospitality suites, receptions and client breakfasts.
The green front lawn of downtown’s convention district. Outdoor activations, team photos and an easy meeting point.
Next-door neighbours. On game nights, downtown traffic and hotel rates jump, so we plan call times around the schedule.
The GWCC and AmericasMart get the headlines, but metro Atlanta runs events from Cobb to Gwinnett. Our crew covers all of them.
Association conferences and medical meetings with tabletop exhibits.

We send: Hostesses, brand ambassadors, crowd staffSteps from the convention center campus. Our East Point and Decatur staff ride straight in.
The stop for AmericasMart. Covered walk to the showroom buildings.
About 20 minutes to downtown. For clients flying in; our staff don’t need it.
Morning drop-offs back up on show days. We call staff early so the Connector never decides your opening.
Greet buyers by name, pull samples, keep the coffee and the order writer moving. Boutique-polished, retail-literate.
Ask the three questions your sales team cares about, scan the badge and hand over a warm lead. Business casual, technical vocabulary briefed.
High energy for consumer crowds: demos, photos, giveaways and lines. Styled to your brand, comfortable on camera.
Two calendars run side by side in this city. Dates come from organisers; confirm before booking.
AmericasMart showrooms and temporaries
GWCC and other Atlanta venues
January Atlanta Market runs five busy days. A temporary showroom needs three hosts on long market hours: one at the door, two on the floor with buyers. Here is that team locally, next to the same team flown in.
| Atlanta Market, temporary showroom | Cost |
|---|---|
| Purple local staff | |
| Travel, hotel, per-diem | $0 |
| Your Atlanta total |
| Typical fly-in agency, same team | Cost |
|---|---|
| Staff hours at $85 | |
| Round-trip flights ~$380 each | |
| Hotel downtown, market week · ~$259/night | |
| Per-diem ~$74/day | |
| Fly-in total |
What each option really costs and delivers at a Atlanta show.
| Purple local crew | Fly-in staffing agency | General temp agency | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Price per staffer | $85 an hour in Atlanta | Higher once travel is added | Lowest rate, highest risk |
| Flights and rooms | None. Atlanta is home | ~$380 airfare and ~$259 a night, each | None |
| Knows Atlanta venues | Local crew, every season | Usually first time in town | Sometimes |
| The Atlanta edge | Staff who ride MARTA to the door. | Not local | Not specialised |
| Knows your pitch | Learns your three key points | Generic script | Not their job |
| Qualified leads | Asks your questions, tags hot or warm | Basic scanning | Badge scans at best |
Fly-in costs use the same typical Atlanta rates as the budget above. Other agencies’ pricing varies.
AmericasMart runs on showroom hours and buyers expect a host who knows the line and can write an order. Send showroom hosts, not crowd-gatherers.
Downtown hotels during Atlanta Market and MODEX run $350 a night and Hartsfield delays are routine. Our talent live inside the Perimeter.
Building A to Building C is 15 minutes across two concourses. We station staff by building and never split a team.
January market brings 90,000 buyers and showroom hosts are booked by mid-December. Reserve 6 weeks ahead.
The Connector locks up. Our staff take MARTA to GWCC/CNN Center or Peachtree Center and arrive on time.
Market orders and MODEX contracts close over dinner at the Omni or in Buckhead. Brief hosts for the evening as well as the showroom.
Inside and outside the Perimeter, everyone is a MARTA ride or a short drive from downtown.
After the halls close
Rooftops and restaurants for buyer dinners during market week.
Warehouse venues for brand parties and after-shows.
Steakhouses for closing the big accounts.

$85 an hour per person, with a four-hour minimum, for any role: model, showroom host, brand ambassador or product specialist. Our Atlanta staff live in the metro, so there is no airfare, downtown hotel or per-diem added.
Yes. Atlanta Market is our busiest Atlanta booking, in January and July. We send showroom hosts who greet buyers, pull samples and keep the order writer free, and we book them six weeks ahead because the market fills the city.
At AmericasMart, buyers come to write orders, so staff support sales inside a showroom. At the GWCC, attendees come to learn and compare, so staff work the aisle and qualify leads. We brief each team for the right job.
Atlanta Market, Atlanta Apparel, IPPE, the Hinman Dental Meeting, MODEX in its Atlanta years, IWF in even years, the Bronner Bros. International Beauty Show, the Atlanta Auto Show, the Atlanta Home Show and Dragon Con, plus events at Cobb Galleria Centre and Gas South Convention Center.
Most ride MARTA’s Blue or Green line to the GWCC station, which sits next to the campus. For AmericasMart they use Peachtree Center on the Red and Gold lines. Call times allow for downtown traffic on the Connector.
Two is the usual minimum: one host at the entrance and one helping buyers with samples and order forms. Larger permanent showrooms often use three or four during peak market days.
Yes. Dragon Con takes over the downtown hotels over Labor Day weekend. We provide hosts, crowd staff and costumed brand ambassadors who are comfortable with photos and long lines.
Spanish speakers are available for most dates, and we can source Korean, Vietnamese, Mandarin and French speakers with notice for international shows like IPPE.
Our Atlanta coordinator sends a briefed replacement within two hours, or that shift is free. Teams of four or more include a working lead.
Yes. We design, build and install exhibits at the GWCC and temporaries at AmericasMart, and staff both, so one partner handles the space and the people.
