HCD Conference + Expo 2027Savannah exhibitor guide: booth costs, dates and deadlines

The Healthcare Design Conference + Expo 2027 runs November 7 to 10, 2027, in Savannah, Georgia, and attendee registration opens in May 2027. HCD has not yet set the Savannah hall days, so they are not confirmed yet; the New Orleans floor ran from the second through the fourth day of the meeting.

At the Savannah Convention Center on Hutchinson Island, across the river from Savannah's historic district. The building has 200,000 square feet of exhibit space after its expansion. HCD 2026 was in New Orleans and 2025 in Kansas City.

HCD charged $66 per square foot in 2026 ($64 early): $6,600 for a 10×10, $17,400 for a 200-square-foot island and $26,800 for 400 square feet, plus corner fees. Savannah pricing is not confirmed yet. On our side, a 10×20 rental is $7,500 to $15,000, and a staged patient-room island costs more.

HCD's Savannah schedule is not confirmed yet. The New Orleans hall opened Sunday 4:30 to 7 p.m. for the Welcome Reception, Monday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Tuesday 9:45 a.m. to 1 p.m., with lunch served on the floor and no one under 16 admitted.

The 2026 expo in New Orleans had more than 250 vendors, including more than 50 first-time exhibitors, and the 2025 Kansas City edition also reported more than 250 exhibitors. HCD's 2026 prospectus says 87% of attendees have purchasing authority or influence.

Healthcare architects, interior designers, medical planners, engineers, facility managers, contractors, construction managers, researchers, nurses and health system executives. Most come from architecture, engineering and interior design firms, hospitals and design-build firms, per HCD's own audience breakdown.

Emerald produces HCD alongside Healthcare Design magazine, with the AIA, the Association for Medical Facility Professionals, the American Academy of Healthcare Interior Designers, the Nursing Institute for Healthcare Design and IIDA. Booth sales run through HCD's account executives, split by company name.

A 2026 10×10 came with 8-foot back drape, 3-foot side drape, an ID sign, one full conference pass and two expo-only passes, plus show directory and online listings. HCD's lead capture through the HCD Connect app is included with every booth, so you buy no scanner.

Only HCD's official photographer or an approved exhibitor-appointed photographer may shoot in the hall, and exhibitors may record only their own booth on show days. You file a Photographer Approval Form in the Exhibitor Hub to bring your own; we schedule booth photos with the approved vendor.

The Nightingale Awards are Healthcare Design magazine's product design competition, run with HCD and open to HCD exhibitors across 22 product categories. Winners are honored at the show; early entry for the 2027 awards opens in summer 2027.

We rent HCD booths from a 10×20 inline to an island: frame, fabric graphics, LED lighting, flooring and the ceiling and wall pieces for a room vignette. Freight to Savannah, install, dismantle and the service manual orders sit on one fixed proposal.

Georgia is a right-to-work state, so rules are less restrictive than at union halls, but hand-carry limits and labor rules come from the show's official contractor kit. We read HCD's 2027 manual, file any contractor forms and bring our project manager to run the install.

HCD books rooms only through its official housing partner, HotelMap by EvolveCon in 2026, and warns against housing poachers. The Westin Savannah Harbor sits next to the convention center, and downtown hotels are a short free ferry ride across the river.
