Glass lines and glazing walls: GlassBuild America 2027 booths in Orlando

We build GlassBuild booths that carry real glass, running fabrication machinery and window and door sections, lit so coatings and edges read from the aisle. In Orlando the OCCC is non-union, and its own crews handle every hanging sign and power drop.

What makes GlassBuild America different, and how we build for it

GlassBuild America is the National Glass Association's show for the whole glass and fenestration supply chain, from float glass and fabrication lines to window and door hardware and the glaziers who install it.It returns to Orlando in 2027 after its first Orlando edition in 2025 drew 598 exhibitors and over 9,600 participants to the Orange County Convention Center. Around the floor sit the GlassBuild Main Stage, the Glass Design Exchange for architects earning LUs, Women in Glass, the NGA Glazing Executives Forum, the Skills Challenge for trades and, since 2026, the Innovation Lounge. Glass Magazine and Window + Door cover it. Booths here run machinery and carry heavy glass.

Glass fabricators and tempering plant owners

Cutting, edging, tempering and insulating-glass equipment running at the booth, with throughput, uptime and service coverage they can compare across the hall.

Commercial glaziers and contractors

Curtain wall, storefront and door systems they can open, test and take apart, plus installation details and lead times for upcoming jobs.

Window and door manufacturers and dealers

Hardware, spacers, coatings and software from suppliers, shown in finished units so a buyer sees the operation and finish.

The booth is lit and stocked when your team reaches the Orange County Convention Center, South and North Halls. You just show up.

New at GlassBuild America 2027

  1. Back to Orlando, a month later in the year

GlassBuild 2027 runs October 26 to 28 in the South and North Halls of the Orange County Convention Center, after the September 23 to 25, 2026 show in Las Vegas. Machinery exhibitors gain about a month of extra lead time for rigging plans and heavy freight. source

  2. New exhibitor features in the online platform

NGA has added new optional 'Features' for exhibitors inside the GlassBuild online platform to raise a company's visibility in the digital listings. They are worth a look if you are launching a machine or product line and want buyers to find the booth before they arrive. source

Rules that shape your GlassBuild America booth

Drape is not a display wall

NGA's inline package is a 10-foot by 8-foot back drape with 3-foot side rails and a 44 by 7-inch card sign, and the drape cannot support posters (2026 rules). We bring a freestanding backwall or glazing frame for samples and graphics.

Organizer rule

Photography only with permission

GlassBuild prohibits photographing or recording on the floor unless the exhibitor permits it, and recording in education sessions entirely; violators can be removed (2026 FAQ). We add a discreet no-photo or photo-welcome cue to your graphics as you prefer.

Organizer rule

No carts during show hours

Handcarts, trolleys and large suitcases are not allowed in the GlassBuild exhibit hall during show hours (2026 FAQ). We build storage into the counter so glass samples and literature are restocked from inside the booth, not wheeled in.

Organizer rule

No suitcasing or outboarding

Soliciting as a non-exhibiting registrant and holding unauthorized meetings or exhibits outside the hall are prohibited, with revoked credentials as the penalty (2026 FAQ). We put your meeting space inside the booth so every conversation stays on your contracted floor space.

Popular booth sizes at GlassBuild America

NGA sells GlassBuild space in 10×10 increments, from inlines with pipe and drape to large islands where machine builders run full fabrication lines. Hardware and software brands usually take a 10×20 or 10×30 inline; we recommend a 20×20 or larger island once a running machine or a full glazing wall is in the plan.

04 Designing for glass processing machinery, glazing, window and door brands at GlassBuild America

Four things we get right for GlassBuild America exhibitors

Glass cutter, ruler and a cut glass pane on a felt-covered work table1

Light the glass, not the walls

Coated, laminated and decorative glass reads only with the right backlight and angle. We build edge-lit and backlit frames, use low-glare fixtures over sample racks and keep graphics off the glass so a fabricator can judge color, haze and edge work.

Installer measuring a white window frame opening with a steel ruler2

Running machinery needs a plan

Glass processing machinery is one of GlassBuild's core exhibit categories. When your machine runs under power, we plan power drops and compressed air with the OCCC, whose own crews do all electrical work, and lay out a guarded viewing line so visitors watch a full cycle safely.

Blue reflective glass curtain wall grid on two building faces under a clear sky3

Drape will not hold posters

Inline space at GlassBuild comes with pipe and drape only, and NGA says plainly that fabric cannot carry posters. We bring a freestanding backwall or a glazing frame so window and door samples hang on structure, not fabric.

Angular glass and steel facade with a cantilevered upper volume against a cloudy sky4

Covered glazing sections at the OCCC

A storefront canopy or curtain wall mock-up with anything overhead makes a covered exhibit, and at 300 square feet or more the OCCC requires a fire watch or approved extinguishing. We design overhead elements under that line or file the review package for you.

A

South and North Halls

The North/South Building holds 950,282 square feet of exhibit space in six halls, North A1, A2 and B and South A1, A2 and B, that can combine into one floor.

Our advice Heavy fabrication lines belong close to whichever North/South dock serves your aisle; we plan machine placement and crating to the dock you are assigned.

B

Oversight Pedestrian Bridge

An enclosed walkway over International Drive linking the North/South Building to the West Building, about a ten-minute walk; freight cannot use it.

Our advice Staff staying at West Building hotels lose time crossing, so we brief your team on the Hilton Orlando bridge and the walking route.

C

Tangerine Ballroom

The North/South Building's own ballroom, one of the rooms the OCCC uses for keynotes, beside the exhibit halls.

Our advice If you sponsor a session or the Women in Glass breakfast, we match its graphics to your booth so attendees find you afterward.

Logistics for GlassBuild America 2027, handled

GlassBuild 2027 uses the Orange County Convention Center's South and North Halls, the North/South Building across International Drive from the West Building; its loading docks face north and south, and the Hilton Orlando connects by bridge. Florida is right-to-work and the OCCC is non-union, so your full-time staff may install with their own tools within show limits. Rigging and electrical are done only by OCCC crews, ordered from the venue. NGA named Freeman its general services contractor for the 2026 Las Vegas show, and its Orlando contractor for 2027 is not confirmed yet. Construction of the new Grand Ballroom shifts truck routes around the North/South Building through 2029, and our project manager builds the current detour into your freight plan.

GlassBuild America exhibitors can find this building's hall rules, drayage estimates and freight deadlines in our Orange County Convention Center exhibitor guide.

GlassBuild America exhibitor questions

Questions exhibitors ask us before GlassBuild America

When is GlassBuild America 2027?

GlassBuild America 2027 runs October 26 to 28, 2027 in Orlando, Florida. The 2027 floor schedule is not confirmed yet; in 2026 the show floor ran all three show days, September 23 to 25, in Las Vegas.

Where is GlassBuild America 2027 held?

At the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, in the South and North Halls of the North/South Building on International Drive. GlassBuild first came to Orlando in 2025, met in the Las Vegas Convention Center West Hall in 2026, and moves to Houston's George R. Brown Convention Center in 2028.

How much does a booth at GlassBuild America cost?

NGA's 2026 space rate was $40 per square foot for NGA and FGIA members and $45 for non-members up to 1,500 square feet, so a 10×20 ran $8,000 in space for a member. Our 10×20 rental adds $7,500 to $15,000, and a custom 20×20 island $50,000 to $120,000.

Are there volume discounts on GlassBuild booth space?

NGA's 2026 rates drop 10% from 1,600 square feet and step down to 30% off at 5,000 square feet and up, where members paid $28.45 and non-members $31.95 per square foot. That makes large machinery islands cheaper per foot than mid-size booths.

What comes with a GlassBuild booth?

Under NGA's 2026 rules, inline space comes with drape (8 feet high at the back, rails at 3 feet) and a 44 by 7-inch cardstock ID sign hung from the back pipe; islands get no pipe and drape. Every 100 net square feet brings five exhibitor badges. The drape cannot hold posters, so we bring a freestanding backwall.

How many people attend GlassBuild America?

Nearly 9,200 registrants came to GlassBuild 2026 in Las Vegas from all 50 states, Puerto Rico, Canada, Mexico and 61 other countries. The 2025 Orlando edition drew over 9,600 participants, the figure to plan around for the 2027 return to the same building.

How many companies exhibit at GlassBuild America?

535 companies exhibited in 2026, 94 of them for the first time, on a record 201,350 net square feet for a Las Vegas GlassBuild. In Orlando in 2025 there were 598 exhibitors, 128 of them new, on more than 232,000 net square feet.

Is GlassBuild America open to the public?

GlassBuild is an industry event, not open to the public, though any industry professional may register without an invitation. NGA members attend free, every person registers with a unique email and wears a badge, and children under 16 must be with an adult.

How do I get a booth at GlassBuild America 2027?

New exhibitors complete NGA's 2027 interest form, and returning exhibitors file the 2027 booth space application through the exhibitor portal. Space sells in 10×10 increments, and the interactive floor plan shows what is open. Send us your booth number and we start design.

Can we run glass machinery in our GlassBuild booth?

Glass processing machinery is a core GlassBuild exhibit category, and running it is a matter of planning. At the OCCC all electrical is done by the venue's own crews, so we plan power, air and a guarded viewing line early and order through the OCCC before its early-order pricing closes.

Can our own staff set up our booth at the Orange County Convention Center?

Full-time employees of your company may install and dismantle with their own tools at the non-union OCCC, within the show's limits. Outside labor is hired via the show's contractor or a builder NGA approves as your EAC, which is how we work, and rigging and electrical stay with OCCC crews.

What education runs at GlassBuild America?

The GlassBuild Main Stage hosts sessions on codes, products, succession planning and marketing, some AIA-accredited for continuing education in 2026. The Glass Design Exchange offers LUs for architects, and Women in Glass drew about 500 people to its 2026 breakfast.

Where should exhibitors stay for GlassBuild in Orlando?

Book through Maritz, the official GlassBuild housing partner in 2026, and ignore unaffiliated companies posing as housing providers. For the North/South Building, the Hilton Orlando is the only hotel attached by bridge, and Orlando International Airport is about 12 miles away.

Who organizes GlassBuild America?

The National Glass Association runs GlassBuild America, with member pricing for NGA and FGIA companies, and its Glass Magazine and Window + Door cover the show. NGA warns that it never sells or rents attendee lists, so offers of a GlassBuild list are fraudulent.

Before you sign with anyone

Ask any GlassBuild America exhibit builder these five questions:

  1. Are all fees on paper, including what the contractor at the Orange County Convention Center, South and North Halls bills?
  2. Who builds the booth: your own shop or a subcontractor?
  3. Does your project manager stay on the floor through install and dismantle in Orlando?
  4. What exactly is in the rental, and what does GlassBuild America bill?
  5. After the show, where is the booth kept, and what does storage cost?

Common situations
