NFMT 2027 booths in Baltimore that answer a facility manager's cost question
We build NFMT booths that show a facility manager what a product saves in maintenance hours, energy and downtime, in an Expo Hall that never competes with sessions. Baltimore is a union building, so we plan Carpenters and Teamsters labor into a fixed proposal.
- Mar 31–Apr 2, 2027, Baltimore
- 11 expo-only hours
- NFMT West Nov 3–4, 2026
What makes NFMT different, and how we build for it
NFMT, the National Facilities Management & Technology Conference & Expo, is run by Trade Press Media Group, whose magazine editors host Show Central on the floor, for the people who keep existing buildings running. The 2027 East show brings more than 90 sessions to the Baltimore Convention Center and schedules the Expo Hall so it never overlaps them, about 11 hours across three days. The Clean Buildings Pavilion, in its second year, sits on the NFMT Expo Hall floor, alongside 20-minute NFMT Learning Labs, Show Central interviews with magazine editors, Passport to Prizes and a Daily Cash Drawing. Registration is limited to end-users who buy or specify, so the aisles are buyers, not vendors.
Total cost of ownership, maintenance intervals and proof from buildings like theirs, plus a rep who can scope a retrofit for an existing campus or plant.
Equipment, roofing, flooring and lighting products they can inspect up close, with parts availability, service coverage and install time.
Metered savings, controls and building-performance data, and help building the payback case their finance office will ask for.
Your team in Baltimore
One project manager, two shops, the whole NFMT build
Our Fishkill, NY production shop and our Las Vegas hub build the booth, we ship it to the Baltimore Convention Center, and our own project manager runs the NFMT install on the floor with vetted local labor. Every NFMT build runs a predictable 30 to 45 days and gets a pre-show QA, with secure storage after.
At NFMT, your team walks into a booth that is lit and stocked. You just show up.

- Returns to Baltimore after a year in Charlotte
NFMT East 2026 ran at the Charlotte Convention Center; for 2027 the organizer brings the show back to the Baltimore Convention Center, which it calls its original home of 25 years. Plan Maryland freight routes and Baltimore hotel blocks instead of Charlotte ones. source
- Show dates move three weeks later, to March 31 to April 2
The 2026 East show ran March 10 to 12; the 2027 show runs March 31 to April 2. Graphics deadlines, advance warehouse shipping and staff travel all shift about three weeks later than last year. source
Inside NFMT 2027
Rules that shape your NFMT booth
NFMT limits registration to end-users who specify or buy exhibitors' products; suppliers pay $395 as Non Buyers and soliciting costs $4,600 per contact (2027 policies). We design for decision makers, with a seat for longer scoping talks.
NFMT's 2025 rules bar any exhibit or advertising from extending beyond the booth or above the back and side rails, and require displays to meet the exhibitor manual's height limits. We keep inline graphics within that envelope.
Every booth floor must be covered with carpet or an approved covering, or show management covers it at your expense (2025 rules). We include flooring in the proposal and finish every backwall face that a neighbor can see.
Photographing or filming a booth or its products at NFMT 2027 needs the exhibitor's verbal permission, and visitors' bags may be inspected. If you show prototypes, we add a clear no-photo panel to the graphics.
NFMT allows no installation or freight movement in the hour before the exhibit floor opens, and booths must stay staffed and intact until the official close (2025 rules). Our project manager finishes install early and schedules dismantle after the close.
Programs worth planning for
Free 20-minute presentations on the Expo floor about new advancements and practical applications across building types, at NFMT East 2027 and NFMT West 2026.
Attendees visit the booths listed on a passport for a conversation and a stamp, then drop it at Show Central for an end-of-day drawing; booth stops are sold as a sponsorship.
20-minute interviews with facility management influencers and conference presenters, hosted on the Expo floor by the editors of five trade magazines.
A dedicated track for commercial cleaning professionals, now in its second year, whose pavilion on the Expo Hall floor brings custodial and environmental services buyers to the 2027 Baltimore aisles.
The East Coast's largest show for facility managers of existing buildings, run by a facilities publisher; choose NFMT over IFMA World Workplace when you want end-user buyers in an Expo Hall with no session conflicts rather than a members' conference. Popular booth sizes at NFMT
NFMT sells floor space by the square foot, and its sponsorship packages bundle booths from 10×10 up to a 20×30 island. Software and service firms usually take a 10×20 inline with a demo screen; equipment makers with roofing, HVAC or lighting samples do better in a 20×20 where buyers can walk around the product.

A CMMS or energy software demo on two screens, a counter and a backwall that states the maintenance hours or kilowatt-hours you save.

04 Designing for building maintenance, HVAC, roofing, lighting, energy and facility technology suppliers at NFMT
Four things we get right for NFMT exhibitors
1Lead with the maintenance number
NFMT buyers manage budgets for existing buildings. We put one measurable claim on the backwall, hours of labor saved, energy cut or service life, then back it with a case from a hospital, campus or plant, the facility types NFMT's audience runs.
2Three short expo blocks
The 2027 Expo Hall opens noon to 4 p.m., 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., between sessions. Traffic comes in waves at each opening, so we keep the aisle edge open and give staff a fast qualifying question at the counter.
3Built for Passport to Prizes
NFMT's Passport to Prizes sends attendees to listed booths for a conversation and a stamp before the end-of-day drawing at Show Central. If you sponsor a stop, we design a stamp station at the edge of the booth so it starts a conversation without blocking the aisle.
4Rails set the height line
NFMT's 2025 rules said no exhibit or advertising may extend beyond the booth or above the back and side rails, and height follows the exhibitor manual. We build inline graphics to that line and save taller structure for island space.

Where you could be at NFMT 2027
NFMT East fills one Expo Hall at the Baltimore Convention Center, with Clean Buildings, Learning Labs and Show Central inside it; the building's exhibit space is 300,000 contiguous square feet across seven rooms.
NFMT Expo Hall
Open about 11 hours over March 31 to April 2, 2027, never against sessions, with Passport to Prizes and a Daily Cash Drawing ten minutes before each close.
Our advice Staff fully for each opening wave; the drawing keeps people on the floor until the end, so do not pack up early.
NFMT Learning Labs and Show Central
20-minute Learning Lab talks and Show Central interviews hosted by the editors of five trade magazines, both on the Expo floor.
Our advice A Learning Lab slot pairs well with a booth screen running the same talk; we build matching graphics so listeners walk over.
Clean Buildings Pavilion
The Clean Buildings track for commercial cleaning professionals, in its second year in 2027, with its pavilion on the NFMT Expo Hall floor for product showcases and education.
Our advice If you sell to both maintenance and custodial buyers, a two-sided backwall lets one booth speak to each.

Logistics for NFMT 2027, handled
The Baltimore Convention Center is a union building in a state without a right-to-work law: two of your full-time staff may do an hour of install and an hour of dismantle, beyond that display install is Carpenters' work and freight is Teamsters' work. For drayage we budget roughly $140 a hundredweight, minimum 200 pounds, in our 2026–2027 Baltimore numbers. NFMT's rules let an outside display house install where the venue allows it, after a written request with the crew list and proof of insurance, and nothing moves on the floor in the hour before the Expo opens. The Hilton Baltimore Inner Harbor connects by skywalk. Our project manager runs install and dismantle.
Hall rules, drayage estimates and freight deadlines for the building that hosts NFMT are in our Baltimore Convention Center exhibitor guide.

NFMT exhibitor questions
Questions exhibitors ask us before NFMT
When is NFMT 2027?
NFMT East 2027 runs March 31 to April 2, 2027 at the Baltimore Convention Center. Before it, NFMT West meets November 3 and 4, 2026 at the Horseshoe Event Center in Las Vegas; NFMT West 2027 dates are not confirmed yet.
What are the NFMT 2027 Expo Hall hours?
The 2027 Expo Hall is open Wednesday, March 31 from noon to 4 p.m., Thursday, April 1 from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Friday, April 2 from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sessions never run during Expo hours, which NFMT counts as 11 hours of expo-only face time.
Where is NFMT 2027 held?
In Baltimore's Inner Harbor at the Baltimore Convention Center, One W Pratt St, which NFMT also used in 2025. The 2026 East show was at the Charlotte Convention Center, and NFMT West uses the Horseshoe Event Center in Las Vegas.
How much does a booth at NFMT cost?
NFMT charged $47 per square foot until August 31 and $48 after for the 2026 East show, with no premium for corners or pavilion booths; 2027 rates come from its sales team. Our 10×20 rental runs $7,500 to $15,000, and a custom 20×20 island $50,000 to $120,000.
What is included with NFMT exhibit space?
The 2026 prospectus included badges for all booth staff, unlimited free All Access passes for customers and prospects, a 7 by 33-inch ID sign, the exhibitor lounge, directory and app listings and a post-show attendee list with physical addresses. NFMT's rules also require carpet or an approved covering across every booth floor.
Who can attend NFMT?
Registration is limited to qualified end-users who specify or buy exhibitors' products or services. Suppliers and service providers register as Non Buyers for $395, soliciting costs $4,600 per contact, and nobody under 18 is admitted to sessions, the Expo Hall or receptions (2027 policies).
How many people attend NFMT?
NFMT says more than 100,000 facilities professionals have attended its shows over the years; it does not publish a 2027 attendance figure. Its 2026 prospectus lists attendees from 46 states, Washington DC, Puerto Rico, 11 countries and 3 provinces.
How many companies exhibit at NFMT?
More than 300 exhibitors filled the Expo Hall at NFMT's 2025 Baltimore show; the 2027 exhibitor count is not confirmed yet. The Clean Buildings Pavilion, now in its second year on the NFMT Expo Hall floor, puts cleaning and hygiene suppliers beside maintenance and building-systems brands.
Is NFMT worth exhibiting at?
For products bought for existing buildings it is a focused audience: end-user-only registration, 11 expo-only hours that never compete with sessions, and 97% of 2025 exhibiting companies expecting to generate business. Exhibitors can invite customers free and attend sessions themselves at no cost.
Can our own staff set up our booth at the Baltimore Convention Center?
Only briefly: two of your full-time staff may spend an hour on install and an hour on dismantle without a union card. Longer display work is Carpenters' jurisdiction and freight is Teamsters' work, because Maryland has no right-to-work law. We book that labor and price it upfront.
Can we use our own exhibit house at NFMT?
NFMT's 2025 rules allow your own display house where the venue permits, once you send a written request to show management with the names of everyone working in the booth and proof of liability insurance. We prepare and file that request for you.
What is NFMT West?
NFMT West is the Las Vegas edition: November 3 and 4, 2026 at the Horseshoe Event Center. Its Expo Hall opens Tuesday from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. and Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., with Learning Labs and daily prize drawings. With our Las Vegas hub, one booth can serve both editions.
Where should exhibitors stay for NFMT 2027?
NFMT holds discounted rooms at several Baltimore hotels within walking distance of the convention center, booked through its Passkey link. An enclosed skywalk links the Hilton Baltimore Inner Harbor to the building, and BWI Marshall Airport is about 20 to 25 minutes away.
Who organizes NFMT?
Trade Press Media Group owns and produces NFMT. Its magazines, including Building Operating Management and Facility Maintenance Decisions, host the Show Central interviews on the Expo floor, and exhibit sales are split among three account managers by company name.
Before you sign for NFMT
Five things to ask every builder quoting NFMT:
- Is every fee on the proposal, including what the NFMT show contractor bills?
- Who actually builds it for NFMT: your shop or a subcontractor?
- Will your own project manager be at NFMT for install and dismantle?
- What does the rental include, and what is billed by NFMT?
- Where does the booth go after the show, and what does storage cost?
Common situations
Already own a booth? We refresh its graphics, repair what is worn, ship and install it for NFMT, and store it between shows. You keep the structure you paid for and bring it to NFMT.
Exhibiting from outside the US? For NFMT, we act as your team on the ground: freight to the advance warehouse, show-service orders, installation and storage, and one project manager who answers your emails in your time zone.
Short on time? A NFMT rental carrying your graphics can be ready in two to three weeks. We tell you on the first call what is realistic for your date.
