What makes BOMA International different, and how we build for it

BOMA International is the commercial real estate crowd that signs the service contracts: property managers running office towers, mixed-use and industrial portfolios. The Expo runs only two days, a Sunday afternoon and a Monday, and it is built around the Technology Pavilion, the Solutions Showcase, guided Tech Walks, the Networking Zone and a lunch buffet served on the floor each day. Around it sit the Welcome Party and the TOBY Awards Gala. A booth here has to explain a portfolio-wide benefit in one visit, because the buyer in front of you often runs many buildings at once.

Building and property managers

A fast answer to what your product saves per building and per portfolio, with service terms and references they can take back to the owner.

Facility managers and building engineers

Equipment, controls and materials they can handle, open and question, with a technical person in the booth who knows installation and maintenance.

Asset managers and owners

A quiet seat to talk capital planning, energy performance and tenant experience across many properties, away from the aisle.

Your team in Nashville

Two shops, one project manager, every hall

We build in our own production shop in Fishkill, NY, and our Las Vegas hub, ship to the Music City Center, and install with our own project manager on the floor and vetted local labor. Predictable 30–45-day turnarounds, secure storage and pre-show QA.

Your team walks into a lit, stocked booth. You just show up.

Popular booth sizes at BOMA International

BOMA sells Expo space in 100 square foot units to more than 300 companies, with a premium for islands, corners and aisle-end booths. We recommend a 10×20 with a working product wall for equipment and materials brands, or a 20×20 island with a meeting table when owners and asset managers come to talk contracts.

An interactive booth for a global elevator manufacturer: digital simulations, real product showcases and a floor plan that guided visitors from first step to last.

04 Designing for building products, services and property technology brands at BOMA International

Four things we get right for BOMA International exhibitors

Woman in a suit and white hard hat holding plans and a folder inside a building1

Lead with portfolio savings

Property managers at BOMA think in buildings, not units. Put one number on the main wall, energy, labor or downtime saved per building, and show how it scales across a portfolio. Specifications go on a lower panel or a tablet for the engineers who ask.

Make the equipment work in the booth

If you sell controls, sensors, access or HVAC components, run them live. We plan the power drops, data lines and mounting for real hardware, and build cutaway displays so a building engineer can see what sits behind the ceiling tile.

3

Design for a two-afternoon expo

With the hall open about nine hours in total, every visit counts. We keep the front of the booth open, put the demo within two steps of the aisle and give staff a clear path to hand qualified buyers to a seated conversation.

4

Give owners a seat

Asset managers and owners come to talk budgets across many properties. A table behind a half wall or an enclosed room in an island lets them talk capital plans, contracts and service levels without standing in the aisle.

05 Music City Center · Nashville

Logistics for BOMA International 2027, handled

Music City Center sits in downtown Nashville with a 353,143 square foot exhibit hall that divides into four halls and is served by 32 loading docks, so freight arrives by dock on the schedule set by the show’s general service contractor. BOMA’s headquarters hotel is the Omni Nashville, and all five official hotels are within a five-minute walk. We read the BOMA exhibitor kit, file the contractor and electrical orders, ship to the advance warehouse, book your staff rooms before the June 2 rate cut-off and install with our own project manager and vetted local labor.

Hall guide

BOMA holds its Expo at Music City Center in downtown Nashville. These are the building’s exhibit spaces and the Expo’s own zones, which shape where buyers walk during the two short Expo days.

Music City Center exhibit hall

A 353,143 square foot exhibit hall that divides into four halls, the space this building uses for its large expos.

Our advice: Open hall floor suits heavy equipment displays; we plan sight lines so your portfolio number reads from the main aisle.

32 loading docks

The building’s docks take freight on the schedule set by the show’s general service contractor.

Our advice: We book dock slots early so crated HVAC, access or controls hardware is on your booth space before install starts.

Technology Pavilion and Expo theaters

BOMA’s pavilion for software, systems and data platforms, plus Expo showcase theaters for Sunday Solutions Showcase and Monday education sessions.

Our advice: A booth near the pavilion or theaters catches buyers between sessions; we plan an open front to pull them in.

BOMA International exhibitor questions

Questions exhibitors ask us before BOMA International

How much does a booth at BOMA 2027 cost?

Booth space is billed by BOMA: in 2026 a 10×10 cost $3,800 to $4,400 depending on membership and booking date. The exhibit itself starts at $3,500 for a 10×10 rental, runs $7,500 to $15,000 for a 10×20 rental and $50,000 to $120,000 for a custom 20×20. Live equipment and meeting rooms move the number.

What is the deadline to book for BOMA 2027?

BOMA’s first hard exhibitor date is April 1, 2027, when sub-block requests for 10 or more hotel rooms are due to ConferenceDirect, with guest names due April 23. We need design sign-off by mid-April 2027 for a 30–45 day build and an early June ship date.

Can we rent a booth for BOMA, and what does a rental include?

Yes. A rental includes the frame, graphics printed in house, a product counter or demo wall, lighting, freight and installation. Building product exhibitors often rent the structure and add a custom product wall or a live controls demo that they own and reuse.

Can you install our booth at Music City Center?

Yes. We ship to the advance warehouse, schedule freight through the building’s 32 loading docks on the general service contractor’s timetable, and install with our own project manager and vetted local labor. Every screen and live demo is tested before your team arrives for the Sunday opening.

What is the BOMA Technology Pavilion, and should we be in it?

The Technology Pavilion groups new software, systems, data management platforms and commercial real estate business tools, while the Solutions Showcase runs Sunday case-study sessions. Property technology brands gain from the pavilion traffic; equipment brands usually do better with a working display on the main floor. We design for either.

What does drayage cost at BOMA and who pays it?

The exhibitor pays material handling to the general service contractor, billed by weight per hundredweight with a minimum. Heavy HVAC, access or controls hardware adds up fast, so we weigh every crate, ship to the advance warehouse on time to avoid surcharges and put the drayage estimate on your proposal.

Can we reuse the BOMA booth at other shows?

The same property and building exhibit can travel to Apartmentalize, ICSC Las Vegas and the AIA Conference on Architecture & Design. We build the frame to reconfigure between 10×20 and island footprints, refresh graphics for each audience and store it between shows.

We already own a booth. Can you refresh it for BOMA?

We inspect and repair your current exhibit, reprint graphics around your portfolio savings story, add power and data for live demos, ship it to the advance warehouse and install it in Nashville with our project manager. Every fee is listed upfront, in full, on the proposal.

Before you sign with anyone

Five questions to ask any exhibit builder for BOMA International:

  1. Is every fee on the proposal, including what the show contractor bills?
  2. Who builds the booth: your own shop or a subcontractor?
  3. Will your project manager be on the floor for install and dismantle?
  4. What exactly is in the rental, and what is billed by the show?
  5. Where does the booth go after the show, and what does storage cost?

Common situations

Already own a booth? We refresh the graphics, repair what is worn, ship it, install it and store it between shows. You keep the structure you paid for.

Exhibiting from outside the US? We are your team on the ground: freight to the advance warehouse, show-service orders, installation and storage, with one project manager answering your emails in your time zone.

Short on time? A rental with your graphics can be ready in two to three weeks. We tell you on the first call what is realistic for your date.
