HSPA 2027 booth design & build in Columbus
Custom and rental exhibits for washers, sterilizers, trays, instruments and tracking software, built so a technician can watch the task and a manager can see where it fits. GES orders, advance-warehouse freight and installation handled by Purple's Columbus crew.

What makes HSPA different, and how we build for it
HSPA is the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association's annual conference, and the expo runs on only two of the four conference days, so every booth hour counts. The audience is the department itself: technicians who decontaminate, inspect and assemble trays, and the managers and educators who buy for them. The 2027 exhibitor programme includes in-booth education and an Education Theatre, which rewards suppliers who can teach a task, not just show a machine. GES is the general service contractor at the Greater Columbus Convention Center, and the Hyatt Regency Columbus and Hilton Columbus Downtown sit on the same block of High Street, so the crowd moves between sessions and the floor quickly. A bench a visitor can stand at gets the longest conversations.
One task shown at a time on a stable bench at working height, clean display instruments, readable labels and room for a second observer without blocking the demonstrator's hands.
A department-level diagram that locates your product in the workflow, a specialist who can talk training and service, and a quieter place to discuss implementation.
Dimensions, utility requirements and configuration options beside the unit, plus a table with a real document surface for scope conversations.

Booth options for HSPA 2027
Pick a footprint. We’ll price it as a rental, a custom build, or a hybrid.
HSPA floors mix large processing equipment islands from the washer and sterilizer manufacturers with inline booths for instrument, packaging and tracking suppliers. Most Purple clients here choose a 10×20 with one demo bench and a back wall that explains the process, or a 20×20 island that pairs a featured machine with a consultation table.

One demo bench with organized trays or a single tabletop device, a process graphic on the back wall and a close-up screen.

A demonstration station for instruments or packaging plus a seated consultation spot, linked by a storage counter that hides restock sets.
See 10×20 rental booths →
One featured washer or sterilizer with walk-around access, a tracking software station for shared viewing and an open meeting table under a hanging sign.
See 20×20 rental booths →
A full instrument journey, decontamination to sterile storage, with large equipment on the perimeter, teaching benches inside and a private meeting room.
See 20×30 rental booths →All-in 2026 ranges for design, structure, graphics, installation and dismantle; booth space, drayage and show services are separate. A custom-built booth runs roughly $100 to $250 per square foot depending on finish level. A rental of the same footprint usually lands at 35 to 50 percent of the purchase price for one show. Designing for sterile processing and infection prevention suppliers at HSPA
Four things we get right for HSPA exhibitors

Build around one workflow moment
A whole department will not fit in a booth, and trying to recreate one buries the product. We pick the step your equipment improves, build the display around that task and label each station so a visitor enters at the point relevant to their job.

Light reflective instruments properly
Stainless instruments, trays and pouches glare under standard show lighting. We test task lighting on your real sample set, add a close-up camera view for fine detail and keep the display looking like a product demonstration, not a live clinical procedure.
Design the reset drawer
Repeated demos over two expo days need a reset routine. We give every demonstration component an assigned storage position, keep backup sets separate from the pieces visitors handle and build the furniture so staff can restore the scene in under a minute.
Plan large equipment early
A working washer or sterilizer needs power, water and technical support that a display-only unit does not. We document your machine list, weights and access needs before we draw the structure, then plan handling, cable routes and the approach path.

Concept rendering
Every proposal comes with a rendering like this
You see the booth in 3D before we cut a single panel: layout, graphics, lighting and product positions, revised until it is right. Shown: a Purple concept for Bernard Rosenberg.

Logistics for HSPA 2027, handled
The Greater Columbus Convention Center is a non-union building, so our own crew unloads, assembles and dismantles your booth without extra labor rules. GES is the general service contractor for HSPA, with service kits releasing in January 2027, and drayage runs about $130 per hundredweight with a 200-pound minimum, so heavy processing equipment needs a freight plan from the start. We read the GES kit, order power and material handling, ship your crates to the advance warehouse and book target times at the dock. The Hyatt Regency Columbus connects to the hall by a covered walkway, the Hilton Columbus Downtown is across High Street, and our Midwest crew runs a pre-show QA before your team lands.
Hall rules, drayage estimates and freight deadlines for this building are in our Greater Columbus Convention Center exhibitor guide.

HSPA exhibitor questions
Questions exhibitors ask us before HSPA
How much does a 20×20 at HSPA cost?
A 20×20 custom island runs $50,000 to $120,000 all in for design, structure, graphics and installation, and a 20×20 rental island $16,000 to $40,000. A 10×20 inline with one demo bench lands between $7,500 rental and $45,000 custom. Send your equipment list and we return a fixed quote.
Can you install at the Greater Columbus Convention Center?
Yes. The GCCC is a non-union building, so our own Midwest crew unloads, assembles and dismantles your booth. We coordinate with GES for material handling and power, run a pre-show QA on every demo station, and keep a project manager on the floor through both expo days.
Can we rent a booth for HSPA?
Yes. Rental structures with your graphics, custom demo benches and a hybrid of both are available. Many instrument, packaging and tracking suppliers start with a 10×10 or 10×20 rental from $3,500 to $15,000 and upgrade the demonstration furniture next year.
When do we need to decide?
Design sign-off by mid-January 2027, when the GES service kit releases, gives a comfortable 30 to 45 day build and an early April ship date. Later is possible; the trade-off is choice of finishes, freight cost and how much demo furniture we can test-fit before it ships.
Do you handle GES orders and drayage?
Yes. We read the GES kit, order material handling, power and cleaning, ship to the advance warehouse and book dock targets. Drayage at the GCCC runs about $130 per hundredweight with a 200-pound minimum, so we plan crate weights with you before anything ships.
