What makes ACP Internal Medicine different, and how we build for it
Internal Medicine Meeting is a physician meeting first and an exhibition second, and ACP builds the schedule so the two meet. Eight hours of unopposed exhibit time across three days, plus complimentary boxed lunches served in Hall GHJ on Thursday and Friday, mean the floor fills three times a day. The traffic drivers sit among the booths: the Innovation Theaters, the Tech Hub, the ACP Job Placement Center and the Career & Professional Development Center, with Industry-Supported Symposia alongside. The rules shape the design too: demonstrations only in islands of 400 sq ft or more, generic drug names on the backwall, giveaways under $10. A booth that answers one clinical question inside a coffee break wins here.
A use case they recognize from the aisle, a two-minute demo that fits a coffee break, and printed evidence they can take back to the practice.
A version of the demo for the inpatient or specialty setting, a screen they can share with a colleague, and a medical affairs counter for the clinical questions.
1,794 residents and fellows and 719 medical students attended in 2026. They want hands-on time, career and job information and something useful to carry away.
Purple in Los Angeles
Local crew, national shop
Purple builds in Fishkill, NY and Las Vegas, NV, ships to every hall in the United States and installs on site with our own project manager and local labor. For Los Angeles we book freight targets, coordinate the general contractor and run a pre-show QA so your team can just show up.
Predictable 30–45-day turnarounds, secure storage and pre-show QA. Your booth ships from our production shop in Fishkill, NY or our Las Vegas hub, and our project manager is on the floor for install and dismantle.

Booth options for ACP Internal Medicine 2027
Pick a footprint. We’ll price it as a rental, a custom build, or a hybrid.
Hall GHJ is mostly 10×10 and 10×20 linear booths from pharma, diagnostics, EHR and health-system recruiters, with islands from the larger drug and device companies. Linear structures stop at 8 ft and islands at 20 ft with a hanging sign. Most Purple clients here choose a 10×20 with a demo station or a 20×20 island.

One product message on an 8 ft backwall, a single screen or device demo and a locked counter for samples and literature.

A demo station plus a medical affairs counter, a seated corner for a longer conversation and storage built into the furniture.
See 10×20 rental booths →
The smallest island where ACP allows demonstrations: a hanging sign, an open floor with two demo stations, a lounge seat and a generic-name backwall.
See 20×20 rental booths →
Demo stations split by practice setting, a private medical affairs room, room for Innovation Theater overflow and open floor for spectators without blocking the aisles.
See 20×30 rental booths →All-in 2026 ranges for design, structure, graphics, installation and dismantle; booth space, drayage and show services are separate. A custom-built booth runs roughly $100 to $250 per square foot depending on finish level. A rental of the same footprint usually lands at 35 to 50 percent of the purchase price for one show. Send the show, your booth size and what the space needs to do. We return a fixed proposal, usually within two business days.

Designing for pharma, diagnostics and health-IT brands at ACP Internal Medicine
Four things we get right for ACP Internal Medicine exhibitors

Name the category from the aisle
A physician on a coffee break should read device, diagnostic, practice platform or service before anyone speaks. We put the category and one concrete visual at the top of the backwall, keep campaign lines as support, and place the generic drug name where ACP requires it.

Build a demo that cannot fail
We build demo stations around a prepared account, fictional records and a reset button, with sign-in details and charging out of sight and a labeled recorded fallback for anything that needs the hall Wi-Fi. The screen sits beside the visitor, with a second viewing position off the aisle.
Give the handoff its own place
Quick questions happen at the station; evaluation questions move to a seated surface with the medical affairs pack. We keep that surface clear of the demo screen, hide literature inside the furniture and design lead capture that records practice setting and the requested next step.
Design inside ACP's rules
Linear structures stop at 8 ft, and nothing over 3.5 ft stands more than 5 ft forward of the backwall. Demonstrations run only in islands of 400 sq ft or more, sound faces inward, giveaways stay under $10 and island drawings go to ACP by February 25. We design to all of it from the first sketch.

Concept rendering
Every proposal comes with a rendering like this

Logistics for ACP Internal Medicine 2027, handled
The Los Angeles Convention Center is a union hall: Local 831 decorators set and strike the booth, Teamsters run the docks and IBEW electricians run every cable under the carpet. Freeman is ACP's general service contractor, with the advance warehouse in Anaheim and direct freight accepted at 1201 S Figueroa from Monday, April 12 at 1:00 p.m. Carpet must be down by 4:00 p.m. Wednesday and dismantle runs from 1:30 p.m. Saturday to noon Monday. South Hall sits inside the Olympic expansion zone, so we plan dock routing early. We file the EDC form, book Freeman targets, ship to Anaheim and put our crew in Hall GHJ, with your team a short walk away at the LA Live hotels.
Hall rules, drayage estimates and freight deadlines for this building are in our Los Angeles Convention Center exhibitor guide.

ACP Internal Medicine exhibitor questions
Questions exhibitors ask us before ACP Internal Medicine
How much does a 20×20 at ACP Internal Medicine cost?
Space from ACP runs $43.75 per sq ft, so a 20×20 island is $17,500 before the booth. A complete 20×20 rental from Purple lands between $16,000 and $40,000 and a custom island between $50,000 and $120,000, covering design, structure, graphics, Freeman handling and installation. Send your product list and we return a fixed number.
Can you install at the Los Angeles Convention Center?
Yes. Our West Coast crew works Hall GHJ with Local 831 labor through Freeman, files the EDC authorization form ACP requires by February 25 and installs between Monday, April 12 and the Wednesday 4:00 p.m. carpet deadline. A Purple project manager stays on the floor through dismantle on Saturday afternoon.
Can we rent a booth for ACP Internal Medicine?
Yes. A 10×10 rental with your graphics starts at $3,500 and a 10×20 at $7,500, and both go well beyond the Freeman turnkey package with a real demo station, a locked counter and lighting. Many first-time ACP exhibitors rent the structure and buy custom graphics and counters they reuse at the next meeting.
When do we need to decide?
Contracts with a 50% deposit by November 2, 2026 get priority booth placement, and ACP's forms are due February 25, 2027. Design sign-off by mid-January gives a 30–45 day build and a late March ship to Anaheim. Later is possible; the trade-off is finish choices and freight cost.
Do you handle Freeman orders and drayage?
Yes. We order Freeman material handling, carpet, electrical and cleaning from the Exhibitor Service Manual, label every crate for the Anaheim advance warehouse and keep freight off the direct route so nothing arrives before Monday, April 12. You get one invoice and a copy of every deadline.
