We build ACC.27 booths around a device demo a cardiologist can follow in the gap between sessions, with a walled meeting room only where ACC allows one. At the George R. Brown Convention Center we file your EAC request, book Freeman freight targets for the April 6–9 move-in and order power from the center itself.

What makes ACC different, and how we build for it
ACC.27 is the American College of Cardiology's 76th Annual Scientific Session & Expo, held in 2027 together with the World Heart Federation's World Congress of Cardiology, so an international cardiology crowd joins the U.S. base in Houston. Late-Breaking Clinical Trials and 4,500-plus abstracts and cases pull attendees between session rooms and the Expo in Halls B–E, where the Industry Expert Theater, the Insights Stage and the Interactive Learning Labs put sponsored education beside the booths. ACC opens the hall at 8:30 a.m. for this edition, books next year's space onsite for ACC.28, and only lets islands of 400 square feet or more build walled meeting rooms.

Inside ACC 2027
Rules that shape your ACC booth
Only islands of 400 square feet or more may build walled meeting rooms, walls may cover up to 40 percent of any dimension, and the floor-to-8-foot band must be 40 percent see-through (2027 rules). We draw the room to those limits.
Inline displays stop at the 8-foot back drape and at 4 feet in the front five feet; inlines 20 feet or wider may run a header forward of the midpoint if neighbors keep their sightlines (2027 rules). We cut counters and headers to fit.
Islands of 20×20 or larger may hang signs and banners with the top at 20 feet and truss to 23 feet carrying no graphics, approved through the Additional Booth Activities form by March 9, 2027. We submit the dimensioned drawing.
ACC signs the CMSS Code for Interactions with Companies, so for-profit exhibitors may give only educational, modest-value items, registered by March 9, 2027. We build literature and education pieces into the counters instead of swag bins.
Booths may serve food and soft drinks from the convention center's caterer, but alcohol is allowed only within contracted ExpoSuites and nothing may be sold on the floor (2027 rules). We plan hospitality for the suite and keep the booth dry.

ACC.27 sells space at $50 per square foot with no peninsulas, so the floor is inline rows plus islands; ExpoSuites sit apart at $55. We suggest a 10×20 inline when one device family carries the story, and a 20×20 or larger island when you need a walled meeting room or a hanging sign.

Four things we get right for ACC exhibitors
1Walls start at 400 square feet
ACC.27 allows walled meeting rooms only in islands of 400 square feet or more, the walls may cover no more than 40 percent of any booth dimension, and the lowest 8 feet must stay 40 percent see-through. We place the room on the side facing a column or a quiet aisle and keep the demo faces open.
2Staff the 8:30 a.m. opening
ACC opens the ACC.27 Expo at 8:30 a.m. each day, half an hour before ACC.26 opened its New Orleans hall, and booths must be show-ready by 8 a.m. on April 10. We build a reset routine into the counters, with charged spares in a locked drawer, so your first visitor of the morning sees the same demo as the last.
A floor rated for heavy consoles
Halls B–E carry 1,000 pounds per square foot, with power, telecom and plumbing in floor boxes on a 30-foot grid. Imaging carts and ablation consoles are no problem for the slab, so we plan the layout around the nearest floor box and order the drop from the center, which supplies electrical exclusively.
Quizzes must be cardiology
At ACC.27 every quiz, challenge or survey has to relate directly to cardiovascular diagnosis or cardiology practice, and raffles are drawn after the meeting closes. We design touchscreen case quizzes around your indication and file them on the Additional Booth Activities form by March 9, 2027.

Where you could be at ACC 2027
ACC's 2027 rules put the ACC.27-WCC Expo in Halls B–E of the George R. Brown Convention Center, with ExpoSuites and the sponsored learning destinations on the same floor. Here is what each part means for your booth.
Halls B–E
Exhibit halls with a 1,000-pound-per-square-foot floor load and floor boxes on a 30-foot grid carrying power, telecom and plumbing.
Our advice Heavy consoles are fine here; we place them near a floor box so cable runs stay short and the demo counter needs no ramped cords.
ExpoSuites
Hard-walled suites sold at $55 per square foot in 2027, occupied April 9–12, the only place in the Expo where exhibitors may serve alcohol.
Our advice Use a suite for scheduled client meetings and keep the booth open for demos; we brand the suite exterior with low-tack graphics ACC approves.
Learning destinations
The Industry Expert Theater, the Insights Stage and the Interactive Learning Labs sit inside the Expo, and exhibitors buy sessions in them as promotional opportunities.
Our advice If you present in a theater, we put a matching graphic and a demo station in your booth so the audience has somewhere to go next.

Logistics for ACC 2027, handled
Freeman is ACC's general services contractor and handles all freight from the George R. Brown docks to Halls B–E, while the center itself supplies electrical and cleaning. Under Texas right-to-work rules your full-time staff may build next to our project manager and vetted local labor; Purple plans GRB drayage at about $95 per hundredweight with a 200-pound minimum. Freeman's advance warehouse receives from February 25 and wants crates by March 26, 2027. Hanging-truss targets start April 5, move-in runs April 6–9, every truck checks in at the marshaling yard, and dismantle starts at 2 p.m. on April 12 with freight out by noon April 14.

Questions exhibitors ask us before ACC
How much does a booth at ACC 2027 cost?
Start with space: ACC charges $50 per square foot for ACC.27, so a 10×20 inline is $10,000 and a 20×20 island $20,000 before any structure. A Purple 10×20 rental adds $7,500 to $15,000, and a custom 20×20 island with a walled room runs $50,000 to $120,000. Imaging screens, the meeting room and Freeman rigging move it most.
What is the deadline for an ACC.27 island booth?
March 9, 2027. Diagrams of every booth of 400 square feet or more, the Additional Booth Activities form for hanging signs, truss and giveaways, and EAC requests with certificates of insurance are all due that day. We ask for design sign-off in late January so stamped dimensions go to ACC with time to spare.
Can we rent a booth for ACC.27, and what does a rental include?
A Purple rental for ACC covers the frame, fabric graphics, LED lighting, demo counters cut to ACC's 4-foot front zone, the booth flooring ACC makes mandatory, freight, install and dismantle on one fixed proposal. Many teams then buy a custom device counter that travels on to Heart Rhythm or TCT.
Can our own staff set up our booth at the George R. Brown Convention Center?
Texas right-to-work law lets your full-time employees build the exhibit themselves, and we pair them with our project manager. Freight still moves dock to booth through Freeman, the exclusive material handler, and electrical comes only from the center. Outside builders need an approved EAC request by March 9.
Can we serve food or hold a meeting in our ACC booth?
Food and soft drinks are allowed in the booth if ordered from the convention center's in-house caterer, and nothing may be sold. Alcohol is limited to contracted ExpoSuites, which run April 9–12, 2027 for client meetings and hospitality but never for formal presentations. We furnish and sign suites alongside your booth.
What does drayage cost at ACC in Houston, and who pays it?
You do, billed by Freeman by weight under the ACC.27 Exhibitor Service Kit tariff. For the George R. Brown Convention Center we plan about $95 per hundredweight with a 200-pound minimum, Purple's venue-guide planning figure. Crates reaching the advance warehouse after March 26, 2027 risk penalties, so we ship early.
Which hall will our ACC.27 booth be in?
ACC's 2027 rules place the Expo in Halls B–E of the George R. Brown Convention Center, on a floor rated for 1,000 pounds per square foot. Space was selected in priority-point order in March 2026 and is now assigned first come, first served, so your booth number decides the dock and freight target we book.
Can we reuse our ACC booth at other shows?
We design ACC booths in modules so the counters and graphic frames move on to Heart Rhythm, TCT or the AHA Scientific Sessions with new prints. Between meetings we store the kit, reprint panels when your claims change and route it to whichever meeting comes next.
Do you handle Freeman orders and the EAC request for ACC.27?
We do. We order Freeman carpet, furniture, labor and material handling before the March 2, 2027 discount deadline, book your freight target and file the EAC request and certificate of insurance by March 9. Electrical goes to the George R. Brown Convention Center directly, and you get a copy of every order.
When is ACC 2027?
ACC.27 Together With WCC runs Saturday, April 10 to Monday, April 12, 2027 in Houston. ACC has also published the next two meetings: ACC.28 on April 1–3, 2028 in Chicago and ACC.29 on March 10–12, 2029 in Atlanta.
When is the exhibit hall open at ACC 2027?
The ACC.27-WCC Expo opens all three meeting days: 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 10 and Sunday, April 11, and 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday, April 12, 2027. Booths must be staffed every Expo hour, and packing before 2 p.m. Monday costs priority points.
Where is ACC 2027 held?
Downtown Houston, in Halls B–E of the George R. Brown Convention Center on Avenida De Las Americas. ACC's hotel list puts the Hilton Americas-Houston and the Marriott Marquis Houston 0.1 miles from the center, and the housing block closes Thursday, March 18, 2027.
How many people attend ACC?
ACC's ACC.26 registration report counts 15,190 in-person attendees, 10,803 of them professionals, from 92 countries, with 274 exhibiting companies, at the 2026 meeting in New Orleans. ACC.25 drew 16,302 attendees from 104 countries and 266 exhibiting companies.
How do we get a booth at ACC.27?
Apply through ACC's exhibit site, run by SPARGO, Inc.; first-time exhibitors pick a product category from the contract list. Space costs $50 per square foot, applications from December 10, 2026 must include full payment, and returning exhibitors pick ACC.28 space onsite during ACC.27 in priority-point order.
