Two halls, a waitlist and a party: iLandscape 2027 booths in Schaumburg

We build iLandscape booths for Chicago and Wisconsin landscape contractors who walk 450+ booths in two halls looking for plants, stone and equipment for spring. The show runs inside a suburban hotel convention center with a free garage capped at 7 feet 6 inches, so we plan trucks and trailers around it.

What makes iLandscape different, and how we build for it

Landscape Illinois built iLandscape as the answer to a costly downtown trade show, and it still runs like one: a suburban Schaumburg venue, free parking and education scheduled so it does not compete with exhibitors for attendees. It calls itself a trade show wrapped around a party. In 2026 the Wednesday Derby Party and the Thursday Race Night with its iLandPrix Showdown followed the floor, attendees could win a Peloton or a Harley Davidson Nightster in daily raffles, and Gallop the Garden sent runners on 14 laps of the exhibit hall at 6:30 a.m. Booth space is scarce, and wait-list companies typically spend two to three years before space opens.

Landscape and hardscape contractors

Pavers, wall stone, plants and equipment they can spec for jobs across Chicagoland and southern Wisconsin, with a local yard or dealer they can call in April.

Landscape designers and architects

Plant introductions, lighting and site furnishings shown the way they look installed, sample boards they can take back to a client, and a rep who knows Midwest hardiness.

Growers, garden centers and equipment buyers

Wholesale nursery sources, containers and tools, and dealers who can demo a mower, loader or truck body and talk service terms for the season.

Your team in Schaumburg

Two shops and one project manager for iLandscape

We fabricate in our own Fishkill, NY shop and our Las Vegas hub, then ship to the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center Hotel, where our own project manager leads the install with vetted local labor. When your team gets to Schaumburg, the booth is lit and stocked. You just show up.

Rules that shape your booth

Wait list decides who gets space

iLandscape space opens to wait-listed companies judged on product relevance, existing similar products on the floor, Landscape Illinois membership and time waiting. We help you start with sponsorship graphics while you wait.

Organizer rule

No recruiting during show hours

The iLandscape conduct statement bars approaching other participants to hire or make a job solicitation during posted event hours. We design hiring messages as a QR code to your careers page instead of a recruiting table.

Organizer rule

Garage height limit 7 feet 6

iLandscape's free garage at the Renaissance Schaumburg cannot take vehicles over 7 feet 6 inches, and in 2026 no IKEA lot or shuttle was offered. We plan oversized trucks and equipment trailers into the surface lots.

Organizer rule

One host hotel, booked direct

iLandscape's only host hotel is the Renaissance Schaumburg, which manages its own reservations; iLandscape uses no outside booking agency and warns against agencies that call. Any rooms we need, we book directly with the hotel too.

Popular booth sizes at iLandscape

iLandscape does not publish booth sizes or rates outside its exhibitor contract, and space goes first to current exhibitors, with new companies wait-listed for two to three years. Once space is yours, a 10×20 or bigger gives room for a planted or hardscape vignette plus a counter for quotes.

“Purple Exhibits made us look good. The booth was one of the nicest displays in our section of the convention center and generated a lot of positive comments from both customers and industry peers. Their attention to detail, professionalism, and willingness to go above and beyond made a huge difference.”

04 Designing for landscape, nursery, hardscape and equipment suppliers at iLandscape

Four things we get right for iLandscape exhibitors

Pink coneflower in bloom against green foliage1

Bring spring into February

iLandscape lands in late February, when Chicago contractors have not seen green in months. We light plant beds and stone vignettes warm and bright, add live potted material, and build an installed look your buyers can picture on a client's patio in May.

Garden yard with rows of potted mums and flowering trees and workers with a wheelbarrow2

Evenings are part of the show

iLandscape's evening events run right after the floor closes, the Derby Party and Race Night in 2026, and its tradeshow pass covers Wednesday and Thursday entertainment. We design a booth that turns into a hosting spot at 4:30 p.m., with a counter for drinks ordered through the hotel.

Two designers reviewing detailed plans on a table3

Trucks under 7 feet 6

The Renaissance Schaumburg's new parking garage is free but has a 7-foot-6-inch height limit, so taller vehicles and trailers need other parking. We plan where your truck, trailer or display equipment parks before move-in and keep the booth light enough for one trip.

Hands drafting a design plan with a pencil and metal ruler4

One story per hall

With over 450 booths split across two halls, a contractor may see you once. We give the booth one clear headline, such as permeable pavers or native plants, sized to read from the aisle, and put the full catalog on a tablet at the counter.

The two exhibit halls

Over 450 booths across two halls, open all three show days; in 2026 the floor also hosted the Gallop the Garden indoor 5K, 14 laps at 6:30 a.m.

Our advice Attendees split their time between halls, so we give your booth one strong headline and a sightline from the main aisle.

C

Garage and Thoreau Drive lot

A free garage with over 900 spaces and a 7-foot-6-inch height limit, plus a 300-space lot across Thoreau Drive.

Our advice We route box trucks and trailers to the surface lot and stage equipment so nothing waits at the garage entrance.

Logistics for iLandscape 2027, handled

iLandscape runs at the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center Hotel, the show's only host hotel, which manages its own reservations and gives guests free parking. The free garage opened for 2026 with more than 900 spaces and a 7-foot-6-inch height limit, an adjacent lot across Thoreau Drive adds 300 spaces, and a shuttle ran from a Walden spillover lot on Wednesday and Thursday in 2026. Exhibitor move-in, decorator and freight details reach confirmed exhibitors through the Exhibitor Resource Center, and we work to that kit. Our project manager leads install and dismantle with vetted Chicago-area labor and ships the booth from Fishkill on a single truck.

This building's hall rules, drayage estimates and freight deadlines for iLandscape exhibitors are in our Schaumburg Convention Center exhibitor guide.

What Purple handles

  • Booth design for the footprint iLandscape assigns you
  • Exhibitor kit orders from the iLandscape Exhibitor Resource Center
  • Truck, trailer and equipment parking around the 7-foot-6-inch garage limit
  • Plant staging and warm lighting for a February floor
  • Evening hosting setup for the Wednesday and Thursday events
  • Our project manager in Schaumburg from move-in to dismantle

Your iLandscape timeline, from move-in back

iLandscape early registration rates end: January 18, 2027. Tradeshow passes rise from $40 to $55 and education passes by $30 or more after this date, so we send you a staff list to register by mid-January.

For iLandscape, we need design sign-off by mid-December 2026.

  1. November 2026Booth confirmed on the iLandscape floor plan; we plan the vignette, plants and any equipment around your space.
  2. Mid-December 2026Design sign-off, about ten weeks before move-in; exhibitor kit orders drafted from the Exhibitor Resource Center.
  3. December 2026 to January 2027Production in Fishkill, NY over 30 to 45 days; staff registered before the January 18 early-rate deadline.
  4. Early to mid-February 2027Freight ships to the date in the exhibitor kit; plant material is held for the last move-in day.
  5. Move-in, days before February 24, 2027Our project manager and vetted local labor build the booth, place plants and test lighting before the halls open.
  6. February 24–26, 2027Show days and evening events; dismantle after Friday's close, then the booth goes to storage or your next show.

Purple's planning timeline for iLandscape. Move-in, freight target and order deadlines are set by the iLandscape exhibitor kit and your assigned schedule; we confirm them for your booth once you book.

iLandscape exhibitor questions

Questions exhibitors ask us before iLandscape

When is iLandscape 2027?

iLandscape 2027 runs Wednesday, February 24 to Friday, February 26, 2027, with the trade show open on all three days. The Landscape Illinois Excellence in Landscape Awards take place the evening before, Tuesday, February 23, from 5 to 9 p.m. It is the 14th annual iLandscape show.

Where is iLandscape held?

At the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center Hotel, 1551 N. Thoreau Drive, Schaumburg, Illinois, about 13 miles from O'Hare and 32 miles from Midway. The show fills two exhibit halls with over 450 booths, and the Renaissance is iLandscape's only host hotel.

How do I get a booth at iLandscape?

Start with the iLandscape Exhibitor Wait List, since demand is high and space is limited. Companies typically wait two to three years, and Landscape Illinois reviews them on product relevance, how many similar products are already on the floor, Landscape Illinois membership and time on the list.

How much does a booth at iLandscape cost?

iLandscape quotes space in its exhibitor contract rather than online. Our side of the budget: $7,500 to $15,000 to rent a 10×20 kit, or $50,000 to $120,000 for a custom 20×20. At iLandscape the price moves with live plants, stone and paver weight, lighting and any equipment you put on the floor.

How many people attend iLandscape?

Close to 7,000 people attended the 13th iLandscape show in 2026, by Landscape Illinois's count. They come mainly from Illinois and Wisconsin: lawn and landscape professionals, designers, equipment dealers, growers and construction businesses walking over 450 booths in two halls.

Who organizes iLandscape?

iLandscape is owned and managed by Landscape Illinois, based in Oak Brook, Illinois, whose mission is to raise the professionalism of its members and advance the landscape industry. Its Experience and Education committees, made up of contractors, nurseries and suppliers, shape the show each year.

Can we join iLandscape without a booth?

Wait-list companies may buy select sponsorship and advertising opportunities to build a presence before space opens, and iLandscape lists them as one of the best ways to start. We design sponsor graphics and a hospitality kit you can reuse later as the base of your first booth.

How much is iLandscape registration?

A tradeshow-only pass costs $40 on or before January 18, 2027 and $55 after, covering all three days plus Wednesday and Thursday night entertainment. An education pass is $135 for members and $225 for non-members early, rising to $165 and $285 after January 18.

Is iLandscape open to the public?

iLandscape is a trade show for landscape professionals, and every attendee registers for a badge and agrees to its conduct statement. That statement bars approaching other participants to hire or recruit during posted show hours, which matters if you planned to staff a recruiting table.

Where do iLandscape exhibitors park?

Parking is free at the Renaissance Schaumburg's garage, which opened for 2026 with over 900 spaces and a 7-foot-6-inch height limit. Taller vehicles need other parking; an adjacent lot across Thoreau Drive holds 300 more, and in 2026 a Walden lot with shuttles served Wednesday and Thursday.

Where should we stay for iLandscape?

Book only at the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center Hotel, iLandscape's single host hotel, directly through the hotel. iLandscape contracts with no outside booking agency, and neither the hotel nor show staff will call you to sell a room. Guests get free parking and fitness center access.

What happens at the iLandscape awards?

The Landscape Illinois Excellence in Landscape Awards on Tuesday, February 23, 2027, 5 to 9 p.m., honor the best Illinois landscape projects, the Person of the Year, the Distinguished Supplier and the Judges' Platinum Award. It falls the night before the floor opens, which makes it a strong evening to host clients already in Schaumburg.

Is iLandscape worth exhibiting at?

For suppliers selling to Chicagoland and Wisconsin landscape businesses it is the Midwest green industry trade show Landscape Illinois built in Schaumburg, and close to 7,000 people came in 2026. Because education is scheduled not to compete with the floor and evenings are social, the return comes from a booth built for quick quotes and for hosting after hours.

Can we reuse our iLandscape booth at other green industry shows?

A modular build travels well: Northern Green in Saint Paul and MANTS in Baltimore come a month earlier, and Cultivate in Columbus follows in July. We store your kit between shows, change regional graphics and refresh the plant photos for each audience.

Before you sign for iLandscape

Five things to ask every builder quoting iLandscape:

  1. Will the proposal show every iLandscape fee, including show contractor charges?
  2. Who builds the booth: your own shop or a subcontractor?
  3. Does your project manager stay on the floor through install and dismantle in Schaumburg?
  4. For iLandscape, what is in the rental and what is billed by the show?
  5. Where is the booth stored after the show, and at what cost?

Common situations

Already own a booth? We refresh its graphics, repair what is worn, ship and install it for iLandscape, and store it between shows. You keep the structure you paid for and bring it to iLandscape.

Exhibiting from outside the US? For iLandscape, we act as your team on the ground: freight to the advance warehouse, show-service orders, installation and storage, and one project manager who answers your emails in your time zone.

Short on time? A iLandscape rental carrying your graphics can be ready in two to three weeks. You will know on the first call what is realistic for your iLandscape date.
