$85an hour per person · every role · no travel fees

Baltimore is a walking town for exhibitors: the convention center, the big harbor hotels and Camden Yards sit within a few blocks of each other. Purple Exhibits staffs the Baltimore Convention Center, the Hilton and Hyatt ballrooms and harbor-side receptions with local brand ambassadors, booth reps, product presenters, hostesses and registration hosts. Every role is a flat $85 an hour per person with a four-hour minimum. Medical societies, biotech firms and federal contractors make up much of the floor here, so we brief each crew on the audience as well as the product. Plan three to four weeks ahead, or 72 hours for a rush.
Three moments from Purple Exhibits events. They show the bar every Baltimore booth crew is held to: matched outfits, a warm first hello and a product story told in plain words.

Each role below costs $85 an hour per person, four-hour minimum. Mix them however you like: one booking can cover the hall booth, a breakout room and the evening reception. If your tour carries on to booth staff in Washington, DC or event staff in Philadelphia, local crews there work on the same terms.
Polished, camera-ready models give a boat, a device or a launch stage real presence, then send serious visitors to your sales team. Public weekends at the convention center are where Baltimore clients book them most.
Ambassadors learn your story in about an hour and tell it well all day. Each giveaway is swapped for a badge scan, so the swag budget brings back names.
Street-team and sampling talent for sponsor tents near Camden Yards, Harbor East pop-ups and Pratt Street activations. A single launch day is fine.
Hosts hold the guest list at harbor-view dinners, take coats and walk senior guests to your executives. Most of this work happens in the Hyatt and Hilton ballrooms.
Presenters run a short, scripted demo for medical devices, software or defense technology and stay inside the claims your team has cleared.
Check-in teams for society and association meetings handle badge printing, name lookups and the first-morning rush at the front desk.
Reps with your scanner app ask three qualifying questions and tag each visitor hot, warm or cold before the sales follow-up starts.
Spanish-speaking and other bilingual staff can be requested for international delegations at medical and scientific meetings, subject to availability.
Most Baltimore shows use the convention center and at least one of the two big harbor hotels. These figures come from our Baltimore Convention Center exhibitor guide and our hotel guides.

Five roles we send to the convention center and the harbor hotels. Each one learns your product and your audience before the doors open.

Ambassadors at healthcare booths who greet clinicians by name badge and invite them in for a short product walk-through.

Presenters who run the demo at defense and technology booths and keep it to the points your team cleared.

Hosts for harbor-view client receptions who check the guest list and look after your senior visitors.

Reps with a tablet who ask buyers a few clear questions and log every answer for your sales team.

Hosts at the convention check-in desk who print badges, answer questions and keep the morning line short.

Meet the crew at the hallLight Rail stop, setup day.
Maryland has no right-to-work law, so union agreements cover the build at the convention center. Knowing the line saves you a costly mix-up on move-in day. Purple can also act as your exhibitor-appointed contractor if we build your booth.
Teamsters handle freight, carpet and decorator work; carpenters set and strike prefabricated displays.
Our booth staff never lift crates, run cable or hang signs. They welcome, explain, demo and capture leads.
Two full-time employees of the exhibiting company may spend one hour on setup and one on teardown without carpenters.
Electrical, internet and catering come from the center or its chosen providers.
Baltimore is easy to reach by rail and air, and our crew lives close enough to be on the floor before doors open. Four things we plan around.
Trains stop on Howard Street at Pratt, right beside the building. Crew from the north suburbs and Hunt Valley ride straight to the hall door.
The same Light Rail line starts at BWI, roughly 25 to 30 minutes from downtown. Your sales team can land and reach the booth without a taxi.
About two miles north of the harbor. A Light Rail spur or a short cab ride brings arrivals from Washington or Philadelphia down to the hall.
Oriole Park sits a few blocks west of the center. When the Orioles play at home, Pratt and Howard fill up, so we set earlier call times.
Between Washington and Philadelphia, this city draws a mix you will not find in many places. We match the crew to the visitor.
Johns Hopkins, the University of Maryland medical campus and a deep biotech corridor fill Baltimore meeting rooms with clinicians and researchers. Booth reps stay on the claims your regulatory team approved and route clinical questions to your medical staff.
We send: Booth reps, registration hostsBaltimore sits on the federal side of the I-95 corridor, with defense, cyber and IT firms close by. Visitors expect plain answers and business dress; presenters run the demo, booth reps tag program and agency interest.

A device maker at a three-day medical society meeting needs a registration-style greeter and two booth reps who know the approved claims and book demos for the clinical team. Here is that crew from our Baltimore roster, next to the same crew flown in.

Maryland halls are union houses. Book the trades for the build and let our staff arrive ready to work the aisle.
An evening Orioles game can jam the streets around the center. Check the schedule before setting move-out and reception times.
Clinicians want facts, not a pitch. Brief staff on approved claims and give them a clear hand-off to your medical team.
The Light Street skywalk has been closed for restoration. Confirm with the hotel and plan the street-level route.
We have local staff here, so there is no airfare or hotel bill for a Baltimore show.
