AAA 2027 · April 7–10, 2027 · America's Center Convention Complex, St. Louis
AAA 2027 booth design & build in St. Louis
Custom and rental exhibits for the HearTECH Expo, built so an audiologist can hear a device, read the software and sit down to talk in the same 10×20. Listening stations engineered for the Academy's 70 dB cap, and Freeman orders, freight and installation at America's Center handled by Purple.

What makes AAA different, and how we build for it
AAA is a clinical convention with the HearTECH Expo attached, and the expo runs on its own clock. Halls 3 and 4 at America's Center Convention Complex open Wednesday at 4:00 pm and the Celebrate Audiology Reception brings the whole conference onto the floor from 5:30 to 7:00 pm, so the first evening carries a large share of your traffic. The HearTECH Hub sits inside the hall with education and presentations that release audiences into the aisles between talks. The Academy caps booth sound at 70 dB and measures it every day, which shapes every hearing demo, and Freeman runs the hall with union crews. We design for those hours and that noise floor.
A quiet listening position where a device can be judged honestly, enlarged views of small components, and a specialist who can answer fitting questions without a queue forming behind them.
A short visual account of how the product fits daily practice, the software on its own screen, and a seated corner where setup, training, support and pricing can be discussed.
Consistent comparison labels across the device family, a presenter who can pick the right technical depth, and room to observe a demo without joining it.
Purple in St. Louis
Local crew, national shop
Purple builds in Fishkill, NY and Las Vegas, NV, ships to every hall in the United States and installs on site with our own project manager and local labor. For St. Louis we book freight targets, coordinate the general contractor and run a pre-show QA so your team can just show up.
Predictable 30–45-day turnarounds, secure storage and pre-show QA. Your booth ships from our production shop in Fishkill, NY or our Las Vegas hub, and our project manager is on the floor for install and dismantle.

Booth options for AAA 2027
Pick a footprint. We’ll price it as a rental, a custom build, or a hybrid.
The AAA floor is mostly 10×10 and 10×20 linear space, with the hearing-aid manufacturers and diagnostic equipment makers on 20×20 and larger islands under hanging signs. Purple clients at AAA usually choose a 10×20 with one quiet listening station or a 20×20 island where demos, software and a meeting table each get their own zone.

One device family in fitted holders with enlarged imagery, a single fitting-software screen and a stool for a face-to-face conversation.

The full portfolio: hearing devices, diagnostic and vestibular equipment, practice software and a closed meeting room, with charging and reserve stock inside the furniture.
See 20×30 rental booths →All-in 2026 ranges for design, structure, graphics, installation and dismantle; booth space, drayage and show services are separate. A custom-built booth runs roughly $100 to $250 per square foot depending on finish level. A rental of the same footprint usually lands at 35 to 50 percent of the purchase price for one show. Send the show, your booth size and what the space needs to do. We return a fixed proposal, usually within two business days.

Designing for hearing technology and audiology brands at AAA
Four things we get right for AAA exhibitors

Design the demo around 70 dB
Every speaker points into the booth, never the aisle, and we put the listening station on the side away from the HearTECH Hub and your loudest neighbor. Soft finishes, a partial screen inside the 8 ft or 20 ft limit, and a captioned visual alternative keep the demo useful when the hall is loud.

Scale up the small devices
Hearing aids and receivers disappear on a flat counter. We mount them in fitted, labeled holders at hand height, pair each with an enlarged image or cutaway, light them evenly without glare, and put reserve samples and charging in drawers so the display surface stays clean all day.
Give the software its own screen
Fitting and practice software should not compete with the listening station. We build a stable demo account, position the screen so the specialist and the visitor both see it, caption any spoken content, and load an offline version so the station still works when the hall network drops.
Diagnostic equipment needs clearances and power
Audiometers, booths and vestibular systems need operator space, a clear view of results and dedicated power. We draw the equipment at true size, plan Edlen electrical drops and Smart City internet before the floor plan is locked, and cover every inch of floor as the Academy requires.

Concept rendering
Every proposal comes with a rendering like this

Logistics for AAA 2027, handled
America's Center is a union hall and Freeman is the official service contractor, so material handling, labor and rigging run through Freeman Online. Crated freight goes to the Freeman advance warehouse at 8500 Hall Street from March 1 and must land by March 26; direct shipments are accepted at 701 Convention Plaza from April 4. Move-in runs April 5 and 6 with late work passes to 11:00 pm, and every booth is show-ready by 3:00 pm Wednesday for the Show Management walk-through. Rigging plans for hanging signs are due to Freeman 60 days before move-in. We file the Freeman orders, book power through Edlen and internet through Smart City, and set your rooms in the Academy block through Maritz.

AAA exhibitor questions
Questions exhibitors ask us before AAA
How much does a 20×20 at AAA cost?
A 20×20 custom island for AAA lands between $50,000 and $120,000 all in for design, structure, graphics and installation, and a 20×20 rental between $16,000 and $40,000. A screened listening station and a hanging sign move the number; send us the product list and we return a fixed quote.
Can you install at America's Center?
Yes. America's Center is a union hall run through Freeman, and our project manager and St. Louis labor install under those rules on every show. We book the Freeman labor, take delivery from the advance warehouse, build and test the booth on April 5 and 6, and hand over before the Wednesday 3:00 pm show-ready call.
Can we rent a booth for AAA instead of buying one?
Yes. A 10×10 rental with your graphics runs $3,500 to $8,000 and a 10×20 rental $7,500 to $15,000. Most first-time HearTECH Expo exhibitors rent the structure and add one custom piece, usually the device wall or a quiet listening nook, then keep it for the next edition.
When do we need to decide?
Design sign-off by the end of January gives us a 30 to 45 day build, a March ship date and the March 26 advance warehouse deadline with room to spare. Rigging plans for an island sign are due to Freeman 60 days before move-in, so an island decision needs to be made by early February.
Do you handle Freeman orders and drayage?
Yes. We place the Freeman Online orders for material handling, labor, rigging and carpet, order power through Edlen and internet through Smart City, ship to the advance warehouse and reconcile the drayage bill after the show. You are copied on every deadline and never fill in a form yourself.
