What makes AANP different, and how we build for it
The AANP National Conference is the largest national meeting of nurse practitioners, and nearly everyone on the floor prescribes or recommends.Family NPs made up 73 percent of 2025 attendees and primary care was the top therapeutic area, at 46 percent. In 2026 the exhibit hall at The Venetian was built around the AANP Plaza, the AANP Career Fair and the AANP Partner Pavilion, with Industry Scientific Poster Presentations on the floor and industry-funded Product Theaters at breakfast, lunch and dinner. That year Corcoran Expositions managed exhibits for AANP and Freeman was the general contractor. NPs arrive between CE sessions with specific clinical questions, so the booth needs compliant product information, a place to talk privately and staff who answer like clinicians.

Inside AANP 2027
Rules that shape your booth
AANP treats any 20×20 or larger freeform space as an island, caps towers and hanging signs at 22 feet and wants floor plans and elevations approved ahead (2026 rules, due April 17). We draw island elevations early and send them for approval.
Inline displays, logo included, may reach 8 feet, but nothing above 4 feet may stand within 5 feet of the front aisle (2026 rules). We keep the consult counter low at the front and the fair-balance wall at the back.
Products shown must meet FDA guidelines or be FDA approved, supplements must be NSF approved, and exhibitors follow FDA rules for any equipment demonstrated (2026 rules). We print each product's approved claims and safety copy exactly as your regulatory team signs them off.
Food and drinks need AANP's written approval and the venue's caterer, every drawing and its entry form needs approval, and CE activities in the hall need AANP CE approval (2026 rules). We build serving or drawing space once approval arrives.
Every AANP booth must cover its full floor, and show management may force carpet at your cost if flooring is missing near the end of move-in (2026 rules). Flooring is part of every AANP build we quote.

AANP sold inline space and islands in 2026, and its 2026 rules treated any 20×20 or larger freeform space as an island, with towers and signs up to 22 feet. Four things we get right for AANP exhibitors
1Claims and safety copy side by side
Pharma booths at AANP carry indications, fair balance and important safety information, and AANP's 2026 rules required products to meet FDA standards and supplements to be NSF approved. We set each claim beside its safety copy at readable sizes and build a medical information station for questions sales staff should not answer.
Seats for NPs between CE sessions
Family NPs, 73 percent of 2025 attendees, come to the hall between long CE days. Stools at a consult counter or a semi-private table keep a clinical conversation going for ten minutes instead of two and give practice owners room to talk pricing.
A primary care workflow on screen
Primary care led 2025 therapeutic areas at 46 percent and 40 percent of attendees called themselves telehealth providers. For EHR, diagnostics and telehealth products we build exam-room or front-desk demo stations with screens at standing height, hidden power and data and a scripted two-minute flow.
Keep the front five feet low
Under AANP's 2026 rules an inline booth tops out at 8 feet, and its aisle-side 5 feet must stay below 4 feet. We put the fair-balance wall at the back, keep the consult counter low at the front and build a lockable closet for samples and literature behind it.

Logistics for AANP 2027, handled
AANP's 2027 page names only New Orleans, so the building and its exhibit hall are not confirmed yet. From Purple's experience in New Orleans: Louisiana's right-to-work statute lets your own payroll staff put the exhibit together, but union trades hired by the official contractor still move freight, run power and hang rigging. For New Orleans freight we budget roughly $155 per hundredweight, minimum 200 pounds. Once AANP issues the 2027 Exhibitor Services Kit, we file its forms, route your crates through its advance warehouse and staff the build with our own project manager.

Questions exhibitors ask us before AANP
How much does a booth at AANP 2027 cost?
For a pharma or health tech brand, a 10×20 rental from us runs $7,500 to $15,000 and a 20×20 custom island $50,000 to $120,000; medical information rooms, demo screens and sample storage move the figure. AANP charged $37 per square foot for inline space and $38 for corner and island space in 2026; 2027 rates are not confirmed yet.
When do we need to book a booth builder for AANP 2027?
Plan on approving the design by early April 2027. That leaves time for medical-legal review of every claim and safety statement, a 30–45 day build in Fishkill, NY, and crates leaving for the advance warehouse roughly 21 days ahead of move-in. In 2026 AANP wanted island plans by April 17, so islands start earlier.
Can we rent a booth for AANP, and what does a rental include?
An AANP rental from Purple includes the structure, your printed graphics with approved fair-balance copy, a consult counter, a lockable sample closet, lighting, shipping and installation. Many pharma and health tech teams reuse the same graphics package at other nurse practitioner and primary care meetings through the year.
Can our own staff set up the booth in New Orleans?
Louisiana's right-to-work statute lets people on your own payroll build the exhibit themselves. In our New Orleans work, union trades under the official contractor still handle freight, power and rigging, so we order those services once AANP names its 2027 contractor, and our project manager runs the install.
Can we host a Product Theater or poster at AANP?
In 2026 AANP sold industry-funded, non-CE Product Theaters with food at breakfast, lunch and dinner, and Industry Scientific Posters on the exhibit floor for $200. We design the booth to send NPs from the theater or poster back to a consult counter, with matching graphics and the same approved claims.
What does drayage cost at AANP and who pays it?
The exhibitor pays material handling to the official contractor by weight; in 2026 that contractor was Freeman. For New Orleans we plan on roughly $155 per hundredweight, 200 pounds minimum (2026–2027 planning figure). Sample cases and literature add weight fast, so we pack lean and show drayage as its own proposal line.
Can we serve food or run a drawing at AANP?
AANP's 2026 rules allowed food and beverage in booths only with prior written approval, ordered through the venue's exclusive caterer, and required approval of any sweepstakes or drawing and its entry form. CE activities in the hall also need AANP approval. We build serving space only once approval is in hand.
We already own a booth. Can you refresh it for AANP?
Our shop checks and mends the exhibit you own, prints fresh graphics around new indications and safety copy, adds a consult counter or storage closet, then freights it south and sets it up in New Orleans under our project manager. Every fee sits on the proposal, in full, before you sign.
When is the AANP National Conference 2027?
The 2027 AANP National Conference runs June 15–19, 2027 in New Orleans, and AANP opens registration in mid-December 2026. The 2027 exhibit hall dates are not confirmed yet; in 2026 the hall opened Thursday through Saturday, June 25–27, of a June 23–27 conference.
Where is AANP 2027 held?
In New Orleans, Louisiana. The building is not confirmed yet: AANP's 2027 page names only the city. The 2026 conference used The Venetian Resort in Las Vegas and the 2025 conference the San Diego Convention Center.
How many people attend the AANP National Conference?
AANP's 2026 prospectus counts 4,150+ nurse practitioners of all specialties and 323+ exhibiting companies at the 2025 conference in San Diego, where its opening release reported more than 4,200 NPs. The 2024 conference in Nashville drew nearly 5,000 attendees.
Is the AANP National Conference open to the public?
No. It is a professional conference for nurse practitioners, NP faculty and students, and the exhibit hall is meant to educate NPs on products used in patient care or practice operations. In 2026 no one under 16 was allowed in the hall, and no one under 18 during move-in and move-out.
Who organizes the AANP National Conference?
The American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the national organization for NPs in the U.S. For 2026, AANP used Corcoran Expositions as exhibit management for booths, Product Theaters and sponsorships, and Freeman as the general service contractor; the 2027 contractors are not confirmed yet.
How do we get a booth at AANP 2027?
AANP gave its 2026 exhibitors priority sign-up for New Orleans, and new companies apply through AANP's exhibit management once the 2027 prospectus is out. Under the 2026 rules, exhibits had to focus on products used in patient care, patient education or running a practice.
