Purple at AOTA INSPIRE 2027

What makes AOTA INSPIRE different, and how we build for it

AOTA INSPIRE drew more than 6,000 attendees in Anaheim in 2026, and the 2027 Expo Hall in Boston is sold as 24,000 square feet for more than 300 exhibitors. The floor runs on a short clock: three days, opening Thursday at 12:30 pm and closing Saturday at 2 pm, so a booth has to explain itself fast. Exhibitor Sponsored Seminars put product education right on the show floor, and the Exhibitor Services Kit arrives in December with T3 Expo as the official service contractor. The Small Business rate of $1,830 keeps the floor full of first-time exhibitors, which means a well-built 10×20 stands out more here than at most medical shows.

OT practitioners

A product they can hold and try in a task they recognize, a demo that takes under three minutes, and a seat for a longer question about a specific client.

Administrators and program managers

Pricing, training, replacement parts and how the product fits a department budget, discussed at a table away from the demo line.

Educators and students

A place to watch a demo without joining it, readable labels, and resources they can bring back to a classroom or a fieldwork site.

Booth options for AOTA INSPIRE 2027

Pick a footprint. We’ll price it as a rental, a custom build, or a hybrid.

AOTA INSPIRE sells space in 10×10 units, $3,020 standard and $1,830 Small Business, so most of the Expo Hall is 10×10 and 10×20 inlines. Islands move in early on April 6 and can hang a sign once we file the request by February 8. Purple clients usually choose a 10×20 with one demo station or a 20×20 island with two.

All-in 2026 ranges for design, structure, graphics, installation and dismantle; booth space, drayage and show services are separate. A custom-built booth runs roughly $100 to $250 per square foot depending on finish level. A rental of the same footprint usually lands at 35 to 50 percent of the purchase price for one show. Designing for occupational therapy and rehab product brands at AOTA INSPIRE

Four things we get right for AOTA INSPIRE exhibitors

Female ophthalmic professional working with an automatic refkeratometer

Build the booth around one task

Occupational therapy products make sense when a visitor sees the everyday activity they support. We pick one recognizable setting, a kitchen counter, a bathroom rail or a classroom desk, and build the demo station at the real working height so a practitioner can inspect the product from a useful position.

Plan seated and standing access

Participation should never depend on one physical ability. We plan a clear route around the demo, keep reach within a seated visitor's range, and give people who prefer to watch a view of the product and the screen without standing in the working path.

Give staff a reset routine

A demo station that takes two minutes to reset loses the next visitor. We build accessory storage into the fixture, mark starting positions and keep the sample set small so your team can return the station to ready without asking anyone waiting to move.

Separate the demo from the deal

Administrators want pricing, training and replacement-part answers. We give them a table away from the demo line with a screen for the catalog, so a program manager's questions get answered while a practitioner is still trying the product.

Logistics for AOTA INSPIRE 2027, handled

The Menino Convention & Exhibition Center is a union building: Massachusetts is not a right-to-work state, and booth assembly beyond hand-carry limits is Carpenters Local 327 through the official contractor. T3 Expo is the official service contractor, so material handling, labor and electrical run through its Exhibitor Services Kit. Boston is one of the most expensive drayage markets, so we ship crated to the advance warehouse and keep small packages off the direct-to-site tariff. Islands move in from 1 pm April 6, general move-in runs April 7 from 10 am, you take possession at noon April 8, and the hall clears by 7 pm April 10. Logan is three miles away and the Westin Boston Seaport connects by skybridge.

Hall rules, drayage estimates and freight deadlines for this building are in our Boston Convention & Exhibition Center exhibitor guide.

What Purple handles

  • Exhibitor Services Kit forms, T3 Expo orders and the February 8 hanging sign request
  • Carpenters Local 327 labor and dock access through the official contractor
  • Demo fixtures built at task height with accessory storage inside
  • Graphics printed in house and proofed against your product photography
  • Freight to the advance warehouse and Boston drayage paperwork
  • Installation, dismantle and return shipping with our Boston crew

AOTA INSPIRE exhibitor questions

Questions exhibitors ask us before AOTA INSPIRE

How much does a 10×20 at AOTA INSPIRE cost?

A complete 10×20 rental runs $7,500 to $15,000 and a custom 10×20 $15,000 to $45,000, including design, structure, graphics and installation. A 20×20 custom island lands between $50,000 and $120,000. Demo fixtures and Boston drayage move the number, so send us your product list and we return a fixed quote.

Can you install at the Menino Convention & Exhibition Center?

Yes. The Menino Center is a union building and most booth assembly runs through Carpenters Local 327, so we order the labor through T3 Expo, schedule our Boston crew around the dock windows, and have the booth standing and tested before you take possession at noon on April 8.

Can we rent a booth for AOTA INSPIRE?

Yes. Rental structures with your graphics, custom demo counters on a rental frame, or a full custom build are all available. Many AOTA exhibitors book at the $1,830 Small Business rate and start with a 10×10 rental from $3,500, then add a custom demo fixture the following year.

When do we need to decide?

Design sign-off by late January gives a 30–45-day build, a March ship date and time to file the hanging sign request before February 8. Later is possible, and the trade-off is fixture choices and freight cost rather than whether we can deliver.

Do you handle T3 Expo orders and drayage?

Yes. We read the Exhibitor Services Kit when it launches in December, order T3 Expo material handling, electrical and labor, ship to the advance warehouse, and file the display vehicle form by January 16 if you demo a vehicle. You get copied on every deadline.
