What makes APhA Annual Meeting different, and how we build for it
APhA2027 marks the American Pharmacists Association's 175th anniversary, and the Annual Meeting & Exposition is the one pharmacy meeting that brings every practice setting under one roof: chains, independents, academia, health systems, clinics and federal pharmacy. The exposition opens with the Opening Reception on Friday night and runs two midday sessions, with no competing education during exhibit hours. APhA sells Presentation Theaters on the floor at $50,000 each, product-specific and outside CPE credit. Students arrive in force for the Student House of Delegates, and the anniversary celebration with Train gives the week a party as well as a program.
Clinical services, immunization and test-and-treat programs, OTC and supplement lines, and pharmacy software that bill and document cleanly, with someone who knows how a chain or independent store runs.

Rules that shape your APhA Annual Meeting booth
APhA2027 inline booths may not exceed an 8-foot back wall, and no part of the exhibit may rise above 4 feet in the front half. We place tall graphics on the back wall and keep demo counters low up front.
Every APhA2027 island is limited to 20 feet at its highest point, and no exhibit may obstruct the view of adjacent booths; deviations need APhA's written approval before setup. We draw to 20 feet and file any request early.
APhA inspects booths at 6 p.m. on the first exposition day and forfeits space not partly occupied by 6 p.m. on the last move-in day (2027 contract). Our project manager finishes the build Thursday, March 18.
Retail sales of exhibitor goods or services at APhA2027 must be requested and approved in advance, with state and local sales permits. If you plan to sell, we add a secure transaction counter and storage after APhA approves.
Only registered attendees and exhibitor staff aged 18 or older may enter the APhA2027 exposition, and proof of age may be required. We keep giveaways and activities aimed at professionals and students of age.
Programs worth planning for
Company-run sessions during exhibit hall hours on specific products, practice topics and therapeutic areas, not eligible for CPE credit; $50,000 each, decisions due December 4, 2026 and assets January 15, 2027.
The Friday night kickoff on the exhibit floor, 7:15 to 9:15 p.m.; companies can support it for $25,000, with a decision deadline of January 8, 2027.

Four things we get right for APhA Annual Meeting exhibitors
1Front half stays under 4 feet
APhA's 2027 contract caps inline back walls at 8 feet and allows nothing over 4 feet in the front half of the booth. We put the brand and services on the back wall and use low, open counters up front, so pharmacists can see in from the Charlotte aisle.
2Islands top out at 20 feet
Every APhA island, sign included, must stay under 20 feet at its highest point, and no exhibit may block the view of neighboring booths. We design hanging-sign alternatives and towers to that height, then submit any deviation to APhA in writing before setup.
3Build for the Friday reception
The exposition opens with the APhA2027 Opening Reception on Friday, 7:15 to 9:15 p.m., when attendees arrive with food and drink in hand. We add high-top ledges, warm lighting and a clear spot for your giveaway, because Saturday's midday crowd behaves very differently.
4Be ready by Friday at 6 p.m.
APhA inspects every booth at 6 p.m. on the first exposition day, and space not partly occupied by 6 p.m. on the last move-in day is forfeited. Our project manager schedules your build for Thursday, March 18, leaving Friday for lighting, graphics touch-ups and staff briefing.

Logistics for APhA Annual Meeting 2027, handled
APhA2027 fills the Charlotte Convention Center in Uptown, with move-in Thursday, March 18 and Friday, March 19 (8 a.m.–5 p.m. each day), then move-out Sunday, March 21, 3–8 p.m. after the last session. APhA's fees cover drape, ID sign and aisle carpet only, so booth carpet and furniture come from us or the Exhibitor Service Kit. The NASCAR Hall of Fame garage connects to the building, and the Blue Line light rail stops between Brooklyn Village and 3rd St/Convention Center. We install with our own project manager and vetted Charlotte labor and pack out the same Sunday evening.

How much does a booth at APhA2027 cost?
APhA's 2027 space rates are $4,200 for a 10×10 inline, $4,500 for a corner, $18,000 for a 20×20 island, $26,400 for a 20×30 and $34,800 for a 20×40. The build is ours: a 10×20 rental runs $7,500 to $15,000 and a 20×20 custom island $50,000 to $120,000, before carpet, which APhA does not include.
What is the deadline to pay for an APhA2027 booth?
December 4, 2026. APhA asks for a 50% deposit within 30 days of its invoice and the balance by December 4; contracts received after that date pay in full when submitted, and no one exhibits without full payment. Presentation Theater decisions are also due December 4, with assets by January 15, 2027.
Can we rent a booth for APhA2027?
A Purple rental for APhA covers the frame, printed graphics, LED lighting, low counters cut to APhA's 4-foot front-half limit, carpet and furniture, with shipping, setup and Sunday night teardown on one fixed proposal. Once the expo closes the rental comes back to us, and your graphics can go home or into storage.
How tall can our APhA booth be?
APhA's 2027 contract limits inline back walls to 8 feet and keeps everything in the front half of an inline under 4 feet. Islands may not exceed 20 feet at any point, and no exhibit may block the view of adjacent booths. Requests to deviate go to APhA in writing before setup.
What does an APhA booth include?
Each 10×10 includes four full conference registrations, giving staff the exhibit hall, core education, general sessions and networking events, plus a listing in the APhA2027 mobile app. Inline booths get a 7×44-inch ID sign, a back drape 8 feet high and draped side rails 36 inches tall. Carpet and furniture are extra.
Can we sell products in our APhA booth?
Only with approval. APhA's 2027 contract requires retail sales of exhibitor goods or services to be requested and approved in advance, with state and local sales permits. All activity must stay inside your space, and APhA may remove exhibits whose noise or conduct detracts from the meeting's educational character.
Can we reuse our APhA booth at other shows?
APhA exhibitors often meet the same pharmacists at ASHP Midyear, the NCPA Convention and Asembia AXS. We build APhA booths in panels that convert from inline to island, store them between meetings and reprint only the graphics that change.
Do you handle the Exhibitor Service Kit orders for APhA2027?
We do. APhA's contract points exhibitors to its Exhibitor Service Kit for furnishings, electrical and freight handling, and requires UL-listed electrical signs and insurance naming APhA. We place the orders our build needs, send the insurance certificate and copy you on each confirmation.
When is APhA2027?
APhA2027 runs Friday, March 19 to Monday, March 22, 2027. The exposition opens with the Opening Reception on Friday, 7:15 to 9:15 p.m., then Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Exhibitor move-in is March 18 and 19, and move-out is Sunday, March 21, 3 to 8 p.m.
Where is APhA2027 held?
In Uptown Charlotte, North Carolina, at the city's convention center on South College Street. Sessions and networking events also use the Westin Charlotte, the headquarters hotel. Charlotte Douglas International Airport is about 7 miles away, according to APhA.
How many people attend the APhA Annual Meeting?
APhA's meeting site lists 4,000+ attendees, 125+ exhibitor companies and 400+ poster presentations. Its prospectus reports that 98% of attendees rated the exposition good to excellent value and 96% of exhibitors met their objectives at the most recent meeting.
Is APhA2027 open to the public?
The APhA2027 exposition is closed to the public: only registered attendees and exhibitor staff aged 18 or older may enter, and proof of age may be required. Unregistered guests can buy a $50 Opening Reception ticket during registration; tickets are not sold at the door.
How do we get a booth at APhA2027?
Return APhA's signed Application & Contract for Exhibit Space to its Director of Expositions with your top four booth choices from the floor plan. APhA assigns space first come, first served, considering booth size and proximity requests, then invoices the deposit.
