Black Hat USA 2027 · July 31–August 5, 2027 · Mandalay Bay Convention Center, Las Vegas

Black Hat USA 2027 booths in Las Vegas built for buyers who test every claim

Security practitioners walk the Business Hall between Briefings and test what you say on the spot, so we build hard-wired demo stations and closed rooms for CISO meetings. MGM keeps electrical and internet in-house at Mandalay Bay, and our Las Vegas crew orders both and wires every pod before opening.

What makes Black Hat USA different, and how we build for it

Black Hat USA is where security research meets the buying decision. Practitioners split their days between the Briefings and the Business Hall, where Arsenal researchers demo open-source tools a few aisles from vendor booths. The CISO Summit and the AI Summit bring the budget holders, the Pulse Stages host sponsored sessions, and the Cyber District spreads sponsor-hosted venues across Mandalay Bay. The Booth Crawl fills the aisles and the Global Startup Spotlight puts new companies on stage. This audience tests claims on the spot, so a booth has to prove the product, not just name it.

CISOs and security leaders

A quiet, closed meeting space away from the aisle, a short executive story on one screen, and a team that can book the next meeting before they leave.

SOC analysts, engineers and architects

Hands-on demo stations with real consoles, staff who can go technical, and enough room to watch a detection or response workflow end to end.

Researchers and penetration testers

Credible technical content, a theater talk worth stopping for, and an honest answer to a hard question rather than a brochure.

Your team in Las Vegas

Two shops, one project manager, every hall

We build in our own production shop in Fishkill, NY, and our Las Vegas hub, ship to the Mandalay Bay Convention Center, and install with our own project manager on the floor and vetted local labor. Predictable 30–45-day turnarounds, secure storage and pre-show QA.

Your team walks into a lit, stocked booth. You just show up.

Popular booth sizes at Black Hat USA

The Black Hat Business Hall mixes large islands from the platform vendors with hundreds of 10×10 and 10×20 inline booths from specialist and startup companies. We recommend a 10×20 with two demo pods for a focused product, or a 20×20 island with a theater screen and a closed meeting room when executive briefings matter.

Kapu Gems booth by Purple Exhibits: kapu Gems inline booth with a white back wall and colourful logo
Inline10×20$7,500 – $15,000all-in rental

Two demo pods on separate screens, a backlit graphic that names the problem you solve, and storage for laptops and giveaways.

dmi digital illustrate inc. booth by Purple Exhibits: white dmi booth with a round hanging sign
Inline10×30$12,000 – $22,000all-in rental

Hard-wired demo pods with recorded fallbacks in two bays, and the third spent on a closed meeting room with a door and seating for four, so a CISO never discusses their stack in the aisle.

Amazon at ESSENCE Festival of Culture, New Orleans

Amazon’s first ESSENCE Festival activation: a walk-through environment that welcomed hundreds of thousands of attendees across Prime Video, Amazon Live and Alexa.

Different audience, same problem: Amazon's ESSENCE Festival build moved huge crowds through hands-on product stations, the flow a busy Black Hat demo booth needs.

04 Designing for cybersecurity software, services and security platform vendors at Black Hat USA

Four things we get right for Black Hat USA exhibitors

Close view of fiber patch cables plugged into rows of connectors on a blue patch panel1

Build demos that work offline

Conference Wi-Fi at a hacker event is not where you run a live product. We order hard-wired MGM internet to each demo station, build locking cabinets for the hardware, and plan a recorded fallback on every screen so the demo never stops when the network does.

Row of mesh-door server cabinets with red and blue cabling visible inside2

Give CISOs a closed room

Executive buyers will not discuss their stack in an open aisle. We build lockable meeting rooms with solid walls, a door, a screen and seating for four to six, and place them away from the theater so the conversation stays private.

3

Say the problem in five words

Hundreds of booths promise AI, zero trust and visibility. Large-format graphics that state the specific threat you stop, read at thirty feet, beat a logo wall. We write the headline hierarchy with your product marketing team before any panel is printed.

4

Schedule the theater around the Briefings

Attendees move between Briefings sessions and the Business Hall in waves. We plan a compact theater with seating, a clear sightline and audio that does not bleed into the demo pods, so short talks can run in the breaks when the aisles fill.

05 Mandalay Bay Convention Center · Las Vegas

Logistics for Black Hat USA 2027, handled

Mandalay Bay's exhibit floor is a single level, the Bayside halls, with the dock wall on the east side off Mandalay Bay Road, so advance-warehouse freight reaches the booth quickly. Las Vegas is a union town: Teamsters Local 631 handle material handling and IATSE Local 720 rigging and AV. MGM keeps electrical, internet, rigging and cleaning in-house, which matters for demo-heavy security booths that need hard-wired lines. The hall opened with an evening welcome reception in 2026, so we plan the install to be finished and tested a day ahead. We file every service order and our Las Vegas crew builds the booth.

Hall rules, drayage estimates and freight deadlines for this building are in our Mandalay Bay Convention Center exhibitor guide.

Hall guide

Mandalay Bay keeps every exhibit hall on one ground-floor level, with ballrooms and meeting rooms above and an arena next door. Here is how the halls this building uses shape a Black Hat booth.

Bayside exhibit halls A–F

Six contiguous ground-floor halls with dock doors along the east wall and generous column spacing; the 2026 Business Hall ran in Bayside A, B, C and D.

Our advice: Islands are easy on this floor. We plan hanging-sign height for your assigned hall, since clear heights vary by hall.

Mandalay Bay Ballroom and Level 2–3 meeting rooms

Ballrooms and breakout rooms above the halls, plus the Shoreline and Islander rooms; in 2026 the Pulse Stage sessions ran in the Mandalay Bay Ballrooms and the Business Hall.

Our advice: Attendees come down from Briefings in waves at session breaks, so we time your theater talks for those moments.

East dock wall

Docks run along the east side of the halls off Mandalay Bay Road, with the marshaling yard set by the show contractor.

Our advice: One level means advance-warehouse freight reaches your booth fast; direct-to-show trucks wait their turn, so we ship to the warehouse.

Black Hat USA exhibitor questions

Questions exhibitors ask us before Black Hat USA

How much does a booth at Black Hat USA 2027 cost?

Rentals start at $3,500 for a 10×10, a 10×20 rental runs $7,500 to $15,000 and a custom 20×20 island runs $50,000 to $120,000. At Black Hat the count of demo stations, screens and closed meeting rooms moves the total most. Booth space comes from Black Hat, and MGM bills electrical and internet separately.

When do we need to sign off on a Black Hat booth design?

We need design sign-off by late May 2027. That leaves a 30 to 45 day build in June, time to wire and test every screen and demo station, and freight to the advance warehouse about three weeks before move-in. Island drawings go in with the sign-off where required, and we place the MGM power and internet orders on the early-bird dates.

Can we rent a booth for Black Hat USA, and what does a rental include?

Yes. A rental covers the structure, your printed graphics, monitor mounts, lighting, demo counters, closed meeting rooms on larger footprints, installation and dismantle. Rentals are stored in our Las Vegas shop, so there is no cross-country freight. Many security vendors rent the frame and own custom demo counters they reuse.

Can we set up our own booth at Mandalay Bay?

Full-time employees can generally set up small booths with hand tools. Larger builds use union labor: Teamsters Local 631 move freight and IATSE Local 720 handle rigging and AV, and MGM runs electrical and internet. Outside contractors file an EAC form with the show and MGM; we file ours, with a certificate naming the resort.

Which hall is the Black Hat Business Hall in?

Black Hat's Business Hall has run in the Bayside halls at Mandalay Bay, a single ground-floor level with the dock wall on the east side, while Briefings use the ballrooms and meeting rooms above. Black Hat assigns 2027 space with your contract, and we plan sightlines and hanging-sign height for your hall at kickoff.

What does drayage cost at Black Hat, and who pays it?

Drayage is billed per hundredweight by the show contractor under the tariff in the Black Hat exhibitor kit, and it goes on your account, not ours. Screens and hardware cases add weight fast, so we consolidate crates, estimate the charge from your packing list and put that estimate on the proposal before you sign.

Can we reuse our Black Hat booth at other security shows?

Yes. We design demo pods and meeting rooms to reconfigure, so the same booth can run at RSAC Conference in San Francisco, ISC West at the Venetian Expo or Google Cloud Next. Between shows it stays in our Las Vegas storage, and we swap graphics for each audience.

We are exhibiting from outside the US. Can you help?

For vendors flying in from abroad we handle the US side: design, build or rental, freight to the advance warehouse, MGM power and internet orders, installation, dismantle and storage in Las Vegas. Your team arrives to a tested booth; customs brokerage stays with your forwarder.

Before you sign with anyone

Five questions to ask any exhibit builder for Black Hat USA:

  1. Is every fee on the proposal, including what the show contractor bills?
  2. Who builds the booth: your own shop or a subcontractor?
  3. Will your project manager be on the floor for install and dismantle?
  4. What exactly is in the rental, and what is billed by the show?
  5. Where does the booth go after the show, and what does storage cost?

Common situations

Already own a booth? We refresh the graphics, repair what is worn, ship it, install it and store it between shows. You keep the structure you paid for.

Exhibiting from outside the US? We are your team on the ground: freight to the advance warehouse, show-service orders, installation and storage, with one project manager answering your emails in your time zone.

Short on time? A rental with your graphics can be ready in two to three weeks. We tell you on the first call what is realistic for your date.
