Ballroom floor, studio crowd: CinemaCon 2027 booths in Las Vegas

What makes CinemaCon different, and how we build for it
CinemaCon is the annual convention of Cinema United, the theater owners' association that represents more than 61,000 screens across 80 countries. For four days at Caesars Palace the studios present their slates in Hollywood Presentations, operators sit through seminars and the Cinema Icons celebrations, and the trade show, presented with ICTA and the Entertainment Food & Beverage Association, fills the Julius and Octavius ballrooms on two of those days. Exhibitors cover projection, screens, sound, seating, concessions, ticketing and design. Buyers arrive between screenings with little time, so a booth wins by letting an owner sit in the seat, taste the popcorn or see the picture.
C-suite leaders from major circuits who decide what gets installed across hundreds of auditoriums. They want the business case, the rollout plan and a private meeting, often in a demo suite.
Owners who buy for a handful of screens and run the lobby themselves. They want to try the seat, see the concession margin and leave with a price they can act on.
Projection, sound and IT managers who compare specifications. They need to see the image on a proper screen, hear the system and talk to an engineer about installation.
Your team in Las Vegas
From our two shops to the CinemaCon floor
For CinemaCon, we build in our own shop in Fishkill, NY, and at our Las Vegas hub, ship to the Caesars Palace, and put our own project manager on the floor with vetted local labor for the install. Every CinemaCon build runs a predictable 30 to 45 days and gets a pre-show QA, with secure storage after.
The booth is lit and stocked when your team reaches the Caesars Palace. You just show up.
Inside CinemaCon 2027
Rules that shape your CinemaCon booth
CinemaCon sells floor space in 10×10 units at one rate for both ballrooms, and larger booths are multiples of the unit (2027 prospectus). We plan footprints in unit steps so you pay only for what the design needs.
The member rate applies only to companies in good standing with the Entertainment Food & Beverage Association or ICTA, and first-time exhibitors save $500 per unit (2027). We price your booth at the rate you qualify for.
Demo suites come with round-the-clock access and Caesars Palace banquet setup at no cost (2027 prospectus). We dress the room around that setup and can install outside show hours.
Programs worth planning for
The studios' slate reveals with talent, the reason owners come to CinemaCon; the trade floor empties during them, so we plan booth staffing around the screening schedule.

04 Designing for cinema technology, seating, concessions, ticketing and theater service companies at CinemaCon
Four things we get right for CinemaCon exhibitors
1Ballroom ceilings, not hall ceilings
The trade show sits in two Caesars Palace ballrooms on different levels, linked by escalators, not a high-bay hall. We design height carefully and load in through the resort, so tall seating samples and screens are planned around the ballroom route.
2Let the owner sit down
Seating is bought by feel. We build seating rows on a raked platform with the right sightline to a short screen, so an owner can recline, test the tray and see the stitching before talking price.
3Concessions that serve
Popcorn, beverages and hot food are judged by smell and speed. We build counters with storage, menu boards and space for equipment, and plan service so samples flow without clogging the ballroom aisle.
4Put the picture in a suite
Projection and sound are hard to judge on a bright floor. Demo suites in the Caesars Palace Conference Center have 24/7 access and ceilings up to 26 ft in some rooms; we dress them as a small auditorium with your brand on every wall.

Where you could be at CinemaCon 2027
CinemaCon's exhibit space is two Caesars Palace ballrooms on two levels, plus suites across the Conference Center, per the 2027 prospectus.
Julius Ballroom, Pool Level
One of the two exhibit ballrooms, sold at the same 10×10 unit rate as Octavius; Pool Level suites such as Abbuzi, Patrician and Tribune have 17 ft ceilings.
Our advice A booth here sits near Pool Level suites, so a booth-plus-suite plan keeps your buyer on one level.
Octavius Ballroom, Promenade Level
The second exhibit ballroom, linked by escalators to the casino and the Emperors Level above.
Our advice Escalator arrivals see the booths nearest the top first; a lit header aimed at the landing earns that traffic.
Promenade Level demo suites
The largest suites: Milano and Neopolitan rooms around 1,500 to 2,150 sq ft, Roman 1 and 2 near 2,800 sq ft, and Tuscany and Umbria with 26 ft ceilings.
Our advice Tall rooms suit a large screen and stacked speakers; we dress them as a compact auditorium.

Logistics for CinemaCon 2027, handled
CinemaCon is a resort show: the exhibit floor spans the Julius Ballroom on the Pool Level and the Octavius Ballroom on the Promenade Level, linked by escalators to the Caesars Palace casino, and demo suites sit on the Emperors, Pool and Promenade levels of the Conference Center. Freight moves through the resort's docks and service corridors, so we crate for ballroom doors and corridor turns. Our Las Vegas shop is minutes from the Strip, so we stage the build locally, install with the labor the resort and show require, dress suites around the hotel's free banquet setup and fix graphics overnight.

CinemaCon exhibitor questions
Questions exhibitors ask us before CinemaCon
What are the CinemaCon 2027 dates?
CinemaCon 2027 runs April 12–15, 2027 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. The trade show takes two of those four days; which two, and the hours, are not confirmed yet.
Where is CinemaCon 2027 held?
At Caesars Palace on the Las Vegas Strip. The exhibit floor uses the Julius Ballroom on the Pool Level and the Octavius Ballroom on the Promenade Level, linked by escalators, and demo suites sit in the Caesars Palace Conference Center.
How many people attend CinemaCon?
Cinema United's 2027 prospectus says 6,000+ industry professionals attend, from 80 countries, with 400+ exhibit booths and 36 demo suites. CinemaCon has run in Las Vegas since 2011.
Who organizes CinemaCon?
Cinema United, the association of theater owners, which represents more than 61,000 screens across 80 countries. The trade show is presented with the International Cinema Technology Association (ICTA) and the Entertainment Food & Beverage Association, formerly NAC.
How much does a booth at CinemaCon 2027 cost?
For 2027 a 10×10 unit costs $6,175 for members and $6,500 for non-members, with first-time exhibitors saving $500 ($5,675 member, $6,000 non-member). Larger booths are multiples of the unit, and the build itself comes on top of space.
How do we get the CinemaCon member rate?
The member rate is open to companies in good standing with either partner association, the Entertainment Food & Beverage Association (EF&B) or ICTA. Membership and pricing come from those associations.
What does a CinemaCon demo suite cost?
Demo suites start at $35,000 for rooms such as Sicily, Patrician or Salerno, run $42,500 to $45,000 for Neopolitan and Milano rooms, and reach $75,000 for Roman 1 and 2, at about 2,700 to 2,800 sq ft (2027 prospectus).

What kinds of companies exhibit at CinemaCon?
The prospectus lists ten categories: concessions and foodservice, cinema technology and auditorium systems, seating, guest experience, ticketing and payments, software, operations and facilities, design and construction, workforce services, and industry organizations and content providers.
Can Purple build in a Caesars Palace ballroom?
We build CinemaCon booths in our Las Vegas shop, crate them for the ballroom route through the resort and your Purple project manager leads the ballroom install. For suites we work around the hotel's banquet setup, then store everything at our Las Vegas shop.
Is CinemaCon or NAB Show better for cinema technology?
CinemaCon puts you in front of theater owners who buy for auditoriums and lobbies; NAB Show reaches broadcasters and content creators. Projection and sound brands that sell to exhibitors usually make CinemaCon their spring priority.
Can we combine a booth and a demo suite?
Many exhibitors do: the booth draws owners from the floor and the suite gives a private, dark room for the full demo, open around the clock. We design both in one brand so visitors follow you from ballroom to suite.
Which hotel should CinemaCon exhibitors book?
CinemaCon is held inside Caesars Palace on the Las Vegas Strip, so the host resort puts your team steps from the Julius and Octavius ballrooms and the demo suites. CinemaCon's 2027 room block is not confirmed yet. Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) is the airport for the trip.
Before you sign for CinemaCon
Ask any CinemaCon exhibit builder these five questions:
- Will the proposal show every CinemaCon fee, including show contractor charges?
- Who builds the booth: your own shop or a subcontractor?
- Will your project manager be on the floor at the Caesars Palace for install and dismantle?
- What exactly is in the rental, and what does CinemaCon bill?
- Where does the booth go after CinemaCon, and what does storage cost?
Common situations
Already own a booth? We refresh its graphics, repair what is worn, ship and install it for CinemaCon, and store it between shows. You keep the structure you paid for and bring it to CinemaCon.
Exhibiting from outside the US? For CinemaCon, we act as your team on the ground: freight to the advance warehouse, show-service orders, installation and storage, and one project manager who answers your emails in your time zone.
Short on time? A rental with your graphics can be ready for CinemaCon in two to three weeks. On the first call, we tell you what is realistic for CinemaCon.
