Display engineers walk the Display Week floor with loupes and spectrometers in mind, so your booth has to put panels at eye level in controlled light, with nothing glaring into the screen. At the McEnery Convention Center we file with GES as your EAC and run the install with our project manager.

What makes Display Week different, and how we build for it
Display Week is the Society for Information Display's annual symposium and exhibition, and the floor is where the papers become products: microLED and OLED panels, quantum-dot and perovskite materials, AR and VR optics, and the metrology gear that measures them. In 2025 it drew 6,828 attendees and 245 exhibitors to San Jose, with an Innovation Zone for prototypes and a center stage for panels on industry trends. Exhibitors present in the Exhibitors' Forum, compete for the People's Choice Awards and appear in Products on Display in Information Display magazine. After Los Angeles in 2026, the 2027 show returns to San Jose, June 6–11.

Inside Display Week 2027
Rules that shape your Display Week booth
SID caps inline walls at 8 feet, keeps the aisle-side 5 feet under 4 feet and lets islands rise to 20 feet (2027 FAQ). We size hanging signs and dark rooms to those lines.
One full-time employee may set up or dismantle only if it takes an hour or less without tools; otherwise GES labor or an EAC is required. We file as your EAC and run the crew.
SID prohibits dismantling before the Thursday 2 p.m. close; at the 2026 show violators risked their next-year booth priority. We schedule teardown labor from 2 p.m. on June 10.
SID's 2027 terms allow only the exhibitor's name or logo on booth signage and bar displays above or beyond the back and side rails without written consent. We draw graphics that stay inside the footprint.
Exhibitors may not solicit prospective employees or run any recruiting activity without SID's written consent, per the 2027 terms. We leave careers graphics off the booth unless SID approves them.

Four things we get right for Display Week exhibitors
1Kill the glare before you add light
Display engineers notice every reflection. We use matte laminates, dark booth finishes around the screens and narrow-beam lighting aimed away from glass, so a panel's black level and color read the way your data sheet says.
2A dark room for HDR
Peak brightness and contrast claims need a controlled room. For islands we build a covered viewing room with a closed door and neutral walls, and SID's meeting room rates show how much floor space a private room is worth here.
3Stage prototypes like evidence
Innovation Zone and booth prototypes are judged up close. We build secure, lit plinths with acrylic hoods that lift for close inspection, cable management inside the plinth and a spec card at eye level beside each sample.
4Three short floor days
The 2027 hall opens Tuesday 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Wednesday 9 to 5 and Thursday 9 to 2. We put the headline panel at the aisle, a meeting area behind it and pre-booked customer slots on Tuesday afternoon.

Logistics for Display Week 2027, handled
Display Week 2027 moves in Sunday and Monday, June 6–7, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., with work-late passes to 11 p.m. GES is the official general services contractor. SID's 2027 FAQ lets one full-time employee set up only if the job takes under an hour without tools; anything else is union labor through GES or an Exhibitor Appointed Contractor. Teardown may not start before the 2 p.m. Thursday close. We register as your EAC with insurance, ship crated panels and pedestals to GES, and our project manager builds the booth with local labor over the two move-in days.

What are the Display Week 2027 dates?
Display Week 2027 runs June 6–11, 2027 for the technical program, with the exhibition open June 8–10. SID's FAQ sets a 10:30 a.m. start and 6:30 p.m. close on Tuesday, a 9-to-5 Wednesday and a 2 p.m. finish on Thursday.
Where is Display Week 2027 held?
At the San Jose McEnery Convention Center, 150 West San Carlos Street in downtown San Jose. Display Week returns there after the 2026 edition in the South Hall of the Los Angeles Convention Center; the 2025 edition was also in San Jose.
How much is booth space at Display Week 2027?
SID's 2027 rate is $52 per square foot until January 15, 2027 and $56 after that, plus $125 per corner; space signed on site at the 2026 show was $48. A 10×20 inline is $10,400 at the regular rate, before services and the booth itself.

Our 10×20 rentals run $7,500 to $15,000 and custom 20×20 islands $50,000 to $120,000. At Display Week a dark viewing room, prototype plinths and power for bright panels move the figure more than wall size does.
What are the Display Week 2027 exhibitor deadlines?
SID takes a $500 deposit to hold space, 50% by October 15, 2026 and 100% by January 15, 2027. Cancel before January 15 and you owe 50% of the space cost; on or after that date, 100%.
Who is the general contractor for Display Week 2027?
GES is the official general services contractor for 2027; Freeman held that role at the 2026 Los Angeles show. We place your GES orders for electrical, rigging and carpet and file our EAC paperwork for the install.
What are the booth height rules at Display Week?
Inline back walls reach 8 feet, and the aisle-side 5 feet holds nothing taller than 4 feet unless SID approves more in advance. Island structures and banners can climb to 20 feet, measured from the floor, per SID's exhibitor FAQ.
Can we set up our own booth at the McEnery Convention Center?
SID's FAQ allows one full-time employee to set up or dismantle the exhibit only if it takes an hour or less without tools. Anything longer or needing tools goes to union labor, either GES or an Exhibitor Appointed Contractor such as Purple.
Can we rent a meeting room at Display Week?
SID rents three-day rooms to exhibitors: a 16' x 18' room is $8,500 without a ceiling or $10,500 with one by January 15, 2027, and a 10' x 10' room $5,500; prices rise after that date. Rooms come with a table, chairs, power and a locking door.

Can we reuse a Display Week booth at other shows?
We build pedestals, dark-room panels and graphics as modules that also suit SPIE Photonics West in San Francisco, SPIE Optics + Photonics in San Diego or AWE USA in Long Beach. Between shows the booth stays in storage, ready for new graphics.
When is Display Week 2027 move-in?
Move-in begins Sunday, June 6, 2027, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., and continues June 7, per SID. The exhibition opens at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 8, and teardown starts after the 2 p.m. close on June 10. We schedule GES freight and our install to finish before the doors open.
