Four campuses, one January week: CES 2027 booths in Las Vegas
At CES a visitor decides in seconds whether to pick up your product, so the booth has to hand it to them under the right light. We draw to each hall's ceiling, from 20 ft in Central Halls 1–2 to 30 ft in West Hall, and run Freeman targets from our Las Vegas shop.

What makes CES different, and how we build for it
CES is not one hall but a city of them.CTA sorts the 2027 floor by category: mobility in LVCC West Hall, the household names of home entertainment in Central Hall, AI, energy, IoT and smart cities in North Hall, Design and Source in South Hall, and roughly 1,200 startups (2026 count) in Eureka Park at the Venetian Expo, beside the CES Innovation Awards showcase in Hall G. C Space at ARIA draws advertisers and media buyers, and CES Foundry at Fontainebleau carries AI and quantum. The Tech Express and the Vegas Loop link the campuses, but a visitor gives each booth seconds, so the product has to be in their hands fast.
Category buyers walking Central and South Halls with a list of resets to fill. They want the product working, the price band and the shipping window in one conversation, and a quiet table for the second meeting.
OEMs, carmakers and chip customers hunting for a component, a platform or a supplier. They test the demo themselves, ask for the spec sheet and judge a company on whether the engineer at the counter can answer.
In 2026 CES counted 7,037 media, creators and analysts and 2,162 investors. They move fast between press conferences and Eureka Park and need a demo that photographs well and a spokesperson ready on the spot.

Inside CES 2027
Rules that shape your CES booth
Inline booths build to 8 ft across the full footprint and perimeter booths to 12 ft; islands of 400 sq ft or more reach 20 to 30 ft by LVCC hall and 25 ft in Venetian Halls A–D (2027 rules). We draw to your hall's figure.
Final rigging plans for booths of 400 sq ft and up are due November 20, 2026, preliminary plans November 5 for 3,000 sq ft and up, and late plans draw a $1,000 daily penalty. Signs over 200 lb need a motor; we file stamped drawings.
CES keeps the floor, meeting rooms and suites under 85 dB measured within 10 ft, and after a complaint a booth can lose power for an hour on the first warning. We build enclosed demo rooms for audio and gaming products.
Equipment that emits radio frequency energy must already hold FCC authorization or carry the required notice in plain view, and CES expects FCC investigators on the floor. We print the notice into the product signage where needed.
Double-deck booths, covered areas over 300 sq ft and large islands go to CES Operations and the LVCC fire office in CAD by October 31, 2026; multilevel areas need sprinklers in some cases and two exits. We prepare the package.
Programs worth planning for
The startup zone at the Venetian Expo for companies about five years old or less, Series B or earlier, with demo-ready consumer tech; around 1,200 startups showed there in 2026. The CES 2027 application is open.
Country pavilions organized by a government or a national trade association, where companies show under one national banner while keeping their own brands; Global Innovation Pavilions bring startup groups into Eureka Park.
Honoree products are shown together in Venetian Expo Hall G, a stop for media and buyers; an honoree can direct that traffic to its own booth with matching signage and the award mark.
The AI and quantum community at Fontainebleau Las Vegas, near LVCC West Hall, open January 6–8 under the 2027 schedule; it suits exhibitors who sell to enterprise buyers rather than retail.

Four things we get right for CES exhibitors
1Design to the hall's ceiling
CES enforces height by hall: 30 ft in West, North and Central Halls 3–5, 20 ft in Central Halls 1–2, 22 ft in South Hall, 25 ft in Venetian Halls A–D and 12 ft in Hall G. We do not draw a tower until we know your hall, then design to its exact limit.
2Sound inside 85 decibels
CES holds the floor to 85 dB, measured within 10 ft, and can cut a booth's power after a complaint. Speakers must face into the booth. For audio, TV and gaming demos we build sealed listening rooms and point subwoofers away from neighbors so the demo plays all day.
3Demos set back from the aisle
CES rules set live demonstrations back 3 ft in a 10 ft deep inline booth and 10 ft in deeper booths, and crowds must stay inside your space. We plan queues, hosts and pickup counters so a busy demo builds a crowd inside the booth, not in the aisle.
4Power and screens by jurisdiction
Freeman owns all electrical distribution at the LVCC; your own staff may plug into 20-amp outlets and mount monitors, while electrical hanging signs and lit truss are Freeman's work. We map every screen, LED wall and charger, then order power before the November 25 deadline.

Where you could be at CES 2027
CTA places exhibitors by product category, and each hall carries its own height limit under the CES 2027 rules. This is how the campuses divide; your contract names the hall.
LVCC West Hall
Vehicle tech and the mobility ecosystem, from self-driving cars to farm, construction and space vehicles; islands may rise to 30 ft.
Our advice Vehicles need EV battery and egress rules met, so we plan clearances first, then use the 30 ft for truss and lit signs over the cars.
LVCC Central Hall
The long-running major brands and home entertainment; 20 ft limit in Central Halls 1–2 (booths 20000–21999), 30 ft in Halls 3–5.
Our advice Booth numbers tell you the ceiling: below 22000 we design a strong 20 ft island; above it, a 30 ft structure is possible.
LVCC North and South Halls
North Hall carries AI, energy, IoT and smart cities with a 30 ft limit; South Hall holds Design and Source and accessories at 22 ft.
Our advice South Hall buyers are sourcing, so we give samples, spec sheets and a seated table more space than height.
Venetian Expo Halls A–D and Hall G
Smart home, digital health, food tech, lifestyle and accessibility in Halls A–D (25 ft); Eureka Park and the Innovation Awards showcase in Hall G (12 ft, no hanging signs).
Our advice In Hall G a startup wins at eye level: a bright counter, a working demo and a readable headline, built light enough to hand carry.
05 Las Vegas Convention Center and Venetian Expo · Las Vegas
Logistics for CES 2027, handled
CES is a Freeman show across every venue, and the Las Vegas jurisdictions are strict: Freeman and Teamsters Local 631 move freight, Freeman electricians run all power, and Encore hangs every Venetian sign except light non-electrical ones in Halls A–D. Your own full-time staff may build the booth with written notice and insurance, or we file as your Exhibitor Appointed Contractor. LVCC move-in starts December 26, 2026 by target date, the building closes early December 31 and all day January 1, crates must be empty by 6 p.m. January 4 and booths finished by 3 p.m. January 5. We ship to the advance warehouse before Freeman's December 11 deadline and stage from our Las Vegas shop.

Questions exhibitors ask us before CES
What are the CES 2027 dates?
CES 2027 runs Wednesday, January 6 to Saturday, January 9, 2027 in Las Vegas. Exhibits open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday and Friday, and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday. Media days are January 4 and 5, with CES Unveiled on January 4.
Where is CES 2027 held?
CES 2027 spreads over several Las Vegas campuses. The Las Vegas Convention Center uses West, North, Central and South Halls plus Central Plaza and the Diamond Lot; the Venetian Expo holds Eureka Park and the Innovation Awards showcase in Hall G; C Space runs at ARIA and CES Foundry at Fontainebleau.
How many attendees are at CES?
The audited CES 2026 count was 148,392 attendees, 55,841 of them from outside the U.S., from 141 countries, regions and territories. The show had 4,100+ exhibitors on 2.6 million net square feet, 7,037 media and analysts and 2,162 investors. CES 2025 counted 142,465 participants.
Is CES open to the public?
CES is a trade event: attendance is limited to people 18 or older who are affiliated with the consumer technology industry, under the 2027 exhibitor rules. Exhibitors get five badges per 100 sq ft of space, with a minimum of ten, and can buy up to 50% more at $50 each.
How much does a booth at CES cost?
CTA prices space through its sales team and posts no public rate card. For the build, a 20×20 custom island typically runs $50,000 to $120,000 and a 10×20 rental $7,500 to $15,000. At CES, LED walls, rigging and Freeman labor at $98.50 an hour straight time (2027 rate) move the total most.
What are the booth height limits at CES?
Inline booths may use their full footprint up to 8 ft, perimeter booths 12 ft. Islands and peninsulas of 400 sq ft or more go to the hall limit: 30 ft in West, North and Central Halls 3–5, 20 ft in Central Halls 1–2, 22 ft in South Hall, 25 ft in Venetian Halls A–D and 12 ft in Hall G.
Can we hang a sign over our CES booth?
Only islands and peninsulas of 400 sq ft or more may hang signs, and never in Venetian Hall G. Final rigging plans are due November 20, 2026, with a $1,000 daily penalty after that, sign orders by November 25 and the sign itself at Freeman's advance warehouse by December 4.
When is CES 2027 move-in?
Freeman assigns target dates by hall. LVCC targets start Saturday, December 26, 2026; the building closes at 2 p.m. on December 31 and stays shut January 1. Venetian Hall G targets run December 30 to January 4. Crates must be empty by 6 p.m. January 4 and every LVCC booth set by 3 p.m. January 5.
Can our own staff set up our CES booth?
Your full-time employees may install the booth if you notify CES in writing and show general liability and workers' compensation insurance. Forklifts, freight and anything beyond a two-wheel luggage cart go through Freeman, and lit truss and electrical signs are Freeman's work. We register as your EAC and handle the rest.
What does drayage cost at CES 2027?
CES 2027 bills material handling at a flat $0.71 per pound at the LVCC and in Venetian Halls A–D and G, with a 100 lb minimum and packages up to 30 lb free. Meeting rooms, exhibit suites and ARIA bill $1.16 per pound. We consolidate crates so you pay one minimum.
How do I exhibit in Eureka Park at CES?
Eureka Park, at the Venetian Expo, is for independent startups about five years old or less, Series B funding or less, with demo-ready consumer technology. Startups usually get two years there, and companies that have shown elsewhere at CES generally do not qualify. The CES 2027 application is open on ces.tech.
What hotels are near the Las Vegas Convention Center for CES?
onPeak is the only official CES 2027 housing agent; groups of ten or more rooms a night use its group form. Pick a hotel on your campus: the Vegas Loop links the LVCC with Encore, Fontainebleau, Resorts World, Sahara and Westgate, the Monorail skips the Venetian, and the free Tech Express links the two main campuses.
Can we bring a drone, a vehicle or a radio device to CES?
Drones fly only with written FAA approval sent to CES Operations and netting around the booth. Electric vehicles must sit between 20% and 50% charge, with no indoor charging. Radio devices need FCC authorization or the required notice displayed, and CES expects FCC investigators on the floor.
What are the CES 2027 exhibitor deadlines?
Double-deck, covered-area and large island plans are due to CES Operations and the LVCC fire office on October 31, 2026, and final rigging plans for booths of 400 sq ft and up on November 20. Hanging sign requests and Freeman electrical orders close November 25, and Freeman discount pricing ends December 1. Advance freight must reach Freeman's warehouse by December 11, with hanging signs and carpet by December 4.
