Deck Expo is the decking and outdoor living half of a two-show week: Informa Markets runs it on the same floor as International Pool Spa Patio Expo, and the North American Deck and Railing Association is its show sponsor.That puts deck builders, railing dealers and outdoor living contractors in aisles shared with pool builders, a backyard buyer in one hall. Teaching happens on the floor: Decks Done Right, presented by Simpson Strong-Tie, demonstrates ledgers, footings, joist hangers, lateral connections and stairs live, and the Outdoor Living Stage runs alongside. Exhibitors get complimentary Matchmaking for pre-set meetings, and the Innovative Product Showcase names a Deck & Railing Products winner.
Builders who install decks every week come to compare boards, rail systems, fasteners and lighting, and they want to see the hidden detail: the clip, the post mount, the ledger connection and the install time.
Dealers choose which composite, PVC, wood and aluminum lines to stock for the next outdoor season, so they need color boards, margin and program terms and a credible plan for contractor demand.

Rules that shape your Deck Expo booth
Deck Expo allots four exhibitor personnel badges per 100 square feet, with extra booth badges at $40 each. We plan staffing to the badges your footprint includes, so a 10×20 runs eight people across the show.
Members of PHTA and NADRA receive a discount on Deck Expo booth space; on the 2025 table the NADRA rate ran about $5 a square foot under the non-member rate. We price your proposal at the rate your membership earns.
Deck Expo allows photography or video of a booth only with the exhibiting company's prior approval, without blocking traffic, and none in education sessions. We add a discreet notice and keep product details for buyers in a takeaway sheet.
Furnishings and services are ordered from the approved providers in the Exhibitor Service Manual, posted in the Exhibitor Portal a few months before the show. We file those orders and the installer forms for your booth as soon as the 2027 manual opens.

Popular booth sizes at Deck Expo
Deck Expo sells space by the square foot in bands from 100 sq ft to 2,500 sq ft and up, with NADRA and PHTA members paying less. Decking brands often build raised deck sections or full outdoor rooms. We recommend a 10×20 at minimum, so a buyer can step up onto a real deck.

Deck Expo buyers judge a board by walking it. We build the booth floor as a real deck section on a level, load-rated platform with a ramp edge, using your boards and hidden fasteners, so every visitor tests the surface without a trip edge.
2Show the framing, not just the face
Decks Done Right teaches ledgers, footings, joist hangers and lateral connections live on the floor. We leave one end of the deck open in a cutaway with your connectors and framing labeled, so builders who just watched a demo can see the same detail.

Deck lighting is a category here, and post caps, stair lights and under-rail strips sell best when they glow. We dim the booth's interior zone and run your lights on a cycle, with a bright sample counter at the aisle for daylight reading.

Logistics for Deck Expo 2027, handled
Deck Expo has not announced its 2027 city or hall. New Orleans hosts 2026 at the Morial and 2025 was in the Las Vegas Convention Center's North Hall, so we design a deck kit that installs in any hall without anchoring to the floor. Services come from the approved providers listed in the Exhibitor Service Manual, which Informa posts in the Exhibitor Portal a few months before the show, with the service kit about four to five months out. We ship boards and framing crated to the advance warehouse named there and run the build with our own project manager.

Where is Deck Expo 2027 held?
Informa has not named a 2027 host, so the location is not confirmed yet. It moves every year: Dallas's Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in 2024, the Las Vegas Convention Center North Hall in 2025 and New Orleans's Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in 2026, always with International Pool Spa Patio Expo.
