World of Asphalt 2027 booths in New Orleans, with machine handling in the rate

We design World of Asphalt booths so a paving contractor can walk the screed, the plant controls or the crusher deck and talk production numbers on the spot. Show management's package already unloads and spots your machines at the Morial Convention Center, so our proposal covers what that package leaves out.

  • Mar 15–17 · Morial Center
  • 11,500+ attendees in 2025
  • Plans due December 1

What makes World of Asphalt and AGG1 different, and how we build for it

World of Asphalt is owned by the people who pave and quarry. The National Asphalt Pavement Association, the Association of Equipment Manufacturers and the National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association own it, AEM produces it, and NSSGA's AGG1 Aggregates Academy & Expo runs beside it, so one hall holds pavers, mills, plants, crushers and screens. The People, Plants, and Paving Conference lists 120 education sessions that earn PDHs. NSSGA says the show took 2026 off for CONEXPO-CON/AGG, so New Orleans in 2027 is the first chance in two years to show a new paver to this crowd, and exhibitors may not demo anywhere within 150 miles that week.

Paving and milling contractors

A close look at the screed, the conveyor and the operator station, plus mat quality, production rate and service numbers they can compare with the machine already in their yard.

Aggregate producers and quarry operators

Crusher and screen throughput, wear part life and plant layout drawings, discussed at a table where a capital purchase can start.

Plant managers and agency engineers

Controls, emissions and quality data shown on screens, and a technical person who can answer specification and mix design questions.

Your team in New Orleans

Two shops behind your World of Asphalt and AGG1 booth

For World of Asphalt and AGG1, we build in our own shop in Fishkill, NY, and at our Las Vegas hub, ship to the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, and put our own project manager on the floor with vetted local labor for the install. Turnaround is a predictable 30 to 45 days, with pre-show QA and secure storage for your World of Asphalt and AGG1 booth.

The booth is lit and stocked when your team reaches the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. You just show up.

Rules that shape your World of Asphalt and AGG1 booth

No demos within 150 miles

Exhibitors and their dealers may not exhibit or demonstrate within 150 miles of the Morial Convention Center during the exposition, installation or dismantle days (2027 rules). We design the booth so the machine demonstrates itself standing still.

Organizer rule

Ten feet for shallow booths

Booths under 20 feet deep stop at 10 feet with a 5-foot setback for solid items above 4 feet and no hanging signs, while machinery has no height limit and should sit 6 inches off the aisle. We draw inline exhibits to that line.

Organizer rule

Used machines stay home

Used equipment may not be shown for resale, even by its maker, except as historical background; remanufactured units appear only if the OEM sells remanufacturing as a service (2027 rules). We label any reman display as that program.

Organizer rule

Three noise warnings, then silence

Show management roves the floor measuring sound within 10 feet of a display and recommends 85 decibels; a second warning shuts the source off for an hour and a third for the rest of the show. We aim speakers inward and keep engines off.

Organizer rule

Programs worth planning for

People, Plants, and Paving Conference

World of Asphalt's education program, with about 120 sessions that offer professional development hours, running through the show days for contractors, plant staff and agency engineers.

04 Designing for paving, milling, asphalt plant and aggregate processing equipment makers at World of Asphalt and AGG1

Four things we get right for World of Asphalt and AGG1 exhibitors

Yellow paver screed laying fresh asphalt beside a guardrail on a rocky mountain road1

Build the platform to the machine

World of Asphalt sets no height limit for equipment or viewing platforms, as long as the platform never stands taller than the machine. We build a stair and deck beside your paver so contractors can look down into the hopper and onto the screed without climbing the unit.

Distributor truck spraying a liquid asphalt coat across a rural road in dry hills2

Price talk, never price signs

Exhibitors may take orders on the floor, but no SOLD, FOR SALE or price signs may appear on any product. We give the booth a quote desk out of the walk path, with production figures on the graphics and pricing kept in the conversation.

Asphalt paving machine and crew laying a new surface on a forest road3

Tracks need floor protection

Show management's package includes plywood planking for self-propelled machines, but treaded equipment that needs extra covering under the planks is billed for labor and materials. We list every tracked unit on your floor plan so that charge is on our proposal, not a surprise.

Road roller compacting a fresh layer of asphalt4

Open the 2,000-foot island

Islands of 2,000 square feet or more may not wall off more than half of any side within 5 feet of the edge, and clear walls count as walls. We put meeting rooms at one corner and let the machines form the rest of the edge.

Marshaling area and docks

The Exhibitor Package Plan has machinery and crates delivered from the marshaling area to your space and spotted on first placement, provided someone from your company is present.

Our advice We put your machine operator on the floor at the delivery slot so the paver or crusher lands exactly where the platform drawing expects it.

B

Booths 20 feet deep or more

Corner and perimeter spaces of 400 square feet or more go to 15 feet, peninsulas and islands to 20 feet, all with hanging signs at unlimited height set 5 feet from neighbors.

Our advice Going 20 feet deep unlocks the hanging sign, so we steer machine exhibits away from 10-foot-deep inline runs.

Logistics for World of Asphalt and AGG1 2027, handled

World of Asphalt folds the heavy handling into the space rate: the Exhibitor Package Plan covers unloading and reloading every crate, delivering machines from the marshaling yard, operators for self-propelled units, planking, initial spotting, crate storage, pipe and drape and nightly cleaning. What it leaves to you is the booth itself, electrical, carpet, rigging and labor. Company employees may put the exhibit together themselves in this right-to-work state, while hanging sign rigging goes through the Morial Convention Center. Installation runs March 12 to 14 and everything must be built by 5 p.m. Sunday. Our project manager leads vetted local labor, and Maritz is the only company selling rooms in the official hotel blocks.

This building's hall rules, drayage estimates and freight deadlines for World of Asphalt and AGG1 exhibitors are in our Ernest N. Morial Convention Center exhibitor guide.

World of Asphalt and AGG1 exhibitor questions

Questions exhibitors ask us before World of Asphalt and AGG1

How much does a booth at World of Asphalt 2027 cost?

Space runs $27.00 per square foot for NAPA, NSSGA or AEM members and $39.25 for everyone else, and that rate already includes machine handling, crate storage and nightly cleaning. A 20×30 island from us runs $25,000 to $55,000 as a rental or $75,000 to $175,000 custom. Platforms and rigging move the number.

What is the deadline to order a booth for World of Asphalt 2027?

December 1, 2026: every exhibitor with 400 square feet or more must send show management a detailed floor plan with dimensions, heights, weights and structures, and should not start construction without written approval. We need your concept by early November to file it in time.

Can we rent a booth for World of Asphalt, and what does a rental include?

A rental from us covers walls, fabric graphics, lighting, counters, a viewing platform if the machine needs one, flooring and storage, with freight, install and dismantle on one fixed price. Because the show's own package already moves and spots your machines, the rental is about the space around them.

Does World of Asphalt charge drayage?

Not in the usual way. The Exhibitor Package Plan in the 2027 space rate covers unloading and reloading crates, delivering machinery from the marshaling area, operators for self-propelled units, plywood planking and spotting. Electrical, carpet, booth labor, rigging and extra floor protection under tracked machines are billed separately.

Can our own staff set up our booth at the Morial Convention Center?

Louisiana is right-to-work, so full-time employees may assemble an exhibit, wearing the installation badges show management issues. Hanging signs are different: assembly and rigging must be arranged through the Morial Convention Center. Any outside builder files Exhibitor Appointed Contractor and Non-Official Contractor forms by February 12, 2027.

Can we run engines or demonstrate equipment at World of Asphalt?

A paver or truck parked for display keeps its battery cables off and at most one-quarter tank, five gallons tops, with a taped or locked cap. Welding, open flames or smoke need individual approval from the convention center. Show management recommends staying under 85 decibels at 10 feet and shuts off repeat offenders.

Can we demo equipment outside the convention center that week?

No. World of Asphalt and AGG1 exhibitors, their dealers and distributors may not exhibit or run a demonstration within 150 miles of the Morial Convention Center during installation, show or dismantle days, and New Orleans hotels have agreed not to host exhibits. Every demo lives inside your booth.

Can we reuse our World of Asphalt booth at other shows?

We build the platforms, walls and counters in modules that can travel to World of Concrete in Las Vegas or The ARA Show with new graphics. After New Orleans the kit comes back to our warehouse, and we rebuild the platform to the next machine's height when your lineup changes.

When is World of Asphalt 2027?

Monday, March 15 to Wednesday, March 17, 2027. The exhibit floor is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, with education running through the same days. Installation starts Friday, March 12.

Where is World of Asphalt 2027 held?

The 2027 show fills the Morial Convention Center beside the Mississippi in New Orleans, with NSSGA's AGG1 Aggregates Academy & Expo in the same building. The 2025 show was in St. Louis, and NSSGA reports there was no 2026 show, a year off for CONEXPO-CON/AGG.

How many people attend World of Asphalt?

More than 11,500 asphalt and aggregates professionals attended the 2025 show in St. Louis, on an exhibit floor of more than 230,000 square feet. For 2027 the organizers list 250,000 net square feet, 450+ exhibitors and 120 education sessions.

Who organizes World of Asphalt and AGG1?

World of Asphalt is owned by the National Asphalt Pavement Association, the Association of Equipment Manufacturers and the National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association, and produced by AEM. AGG1 belongs to NSSGA, which also manages it. Both shows exhibit under one set of 2027 rules.

How do I get a booth at World of Asphalt 2027?

Apply on the Exhibit Space Application & Contract through show management. The January 16, 2026 priority round is over, so show management now assigns remaining space in the order applications arrive, with full payment due because the October 9, 2026 balance date has passed. Spaces run in 10-foot increments from 100 square feet.

Ask these before you sign

Ask any World of Asphalt and AGG1 exhibit builder these five questions:

  1. Is every fee on the proposal, including what the World of Asphalt and AGG1 show contractor bills?
  2. Is the booth built in your own shop or by a subcontractor?
  3. Will your project manager be on the floor for install and dismantle?
  4. What does the rental include, and what is billed by World of Asphalt and AGG1?
  5. What happens to the booth after World of Asphalt and AGG1, and what does storage cost?

Common situations

Already own a booth? We refresh the graphics, repair what is worn, ship it, install it and store it between shows. You keep the structure you paid for and bring it to World of Asphalt and AGG1.

Exhibiting from outside the US? Freight to the advance warehouse, show-service orders, installation and storage are ours to run, and one project manager answers your emails in your time zone.

Short on time? With a rental, your graphics can be ready in two to three weeks. On the first call, we tell you what is realistic for World of Asphalt and AGG1.
