Sell to the people who frame America: IBS 2027 booths in Las Vegas
We build IBS booths that let a builder touch the product, see it installed and price it before lunch, in the hall NAHB assigns to your product segment. NAHB must receive your EAC request by January 2, 2027, so we file it with our insurance early.
- Feb 2–4, 2027 · LVCC
- 91,903 registrants, 2026
- Shares the week with KBIS
What makes IBS different, and how we build for it
IBS is where America's home builders shop, and NAHB lays the floor out by what they buy: Interior Finishings & Home Living and Business Management & Professional Services in the West Hall, Building Materials in the Central Hall, and Construction Tools, Outdoor Living, Leisure & Modular Structures and Global Products in the South Hall, with the Outdoor Exhibits beyond. Your booth must sit in your segment's hall. In 2027 the show marks 14 years beside the NKBA's KBIS as Design & Construction Week, and either badge opens both floors. The Start-Up Zone and New Product Zone pull builders hunting for what is new, and 1,711 registrants came from ProBuilder's Top 200 builders in 2026.
Installed cost per house, labor saved on site, warranty terms and proof the product holds up in a real wall, roof or kitchen; 32 percent of 2026 attendees were single-family builders.
Margins, stocking programs, lead times and which of your lines builders will ask for next season, from a sales lead who can talk volume pricing at a counter.
Install details they can see up close: fastening, flashing, finishes and code approvals, plus spec sheets and samples small enough to take back to the office.
Your team in Las Vegas
From our two shops to the IBS floor
For IBS, we build in our own shop in Fishkill, NY, and at our Las Vegas hub, ship to the Las Vegas Convention Center, and put our own project manager on the floor with vetted local labor for the install. Turnaround is a predictable 30 to 45 days, with pre-show QA and secure storage for your IBS booth.
Your staff walks onto the IBS floor and the booth is already lit and stocked. You just show up.
New at IBS 2027
- Back in Las Vegas, now its permanent home
After the 2026 edition in Orlando, NAHB brings IBS back to the Las Vegas Convention Center and calls Las Vegas the show's permanent home. Companies that shipped to Orlando last year need fresh LVCC quotes for freight, labor and hotels, and can plan on the same building in later years. source
- Spotlight Sessions replace Super Sessions
IBS 2027 drops the Super Sessions and adds Spotlight Sessions, with each day built around one industry theme. Exhibitors can match booth talking points and meeting invitations to the day whose theme fits their buyers. source
- New Vegas Loop stops since the 2025 show
Since IBS was last in Las Vegas in 2025, the Vegas Loop has added stops at Westgate, Encore at Wynn and Fontainebleau and begun service toward Harry Reid International Airport, on top of five stations across the LVCC campus. Booth staff lodged at those hotels get a short ride to the halls instead of a shuttle queue. source
Inside IBS 2027
IBS rules that shape your booth
IBS lets only island and peninsula booths of 400 square feet or more hang anything from the LVCC, lowest point at least 9 feet up, with peninsula signs 5 feet off the shared wall (2027 rules). We size the footprint before promising a sign.
Back walls above 8 feet and side walls above 3 feet must be finished, no logo or advertising may face a neighbor, and hard-back booths sit 9 inches off the rear line. We build plain finished backs and set the frame to that gap.
No amplification, machine or activity at IBS may exceed 80 decibels, speakers must face inward, and stages must be set back so crowds stay off the aisles. We design demo bays for saws, nailers and audio that stay under the cap.
Exhibitors showing tractors, trucks, earthmovers, mixers, scaffolding, roof trusses or elevators are assigned locations with the ceiling height and floor load they need. We send NAHB your heaviest and tallest pieces with the application.
Photographing or filming any exhibit at IBS is prohibited except by NAHB's official contractor or with written permission from NAHB, the exhibitor and everyone in frame. We plan your own booth footage through that approval.
Programs worth planning for
A $5,200 package for about 20 first-time start-ups: a templated kiosk, four Expo and Education passes, Wi-Fi, power, lead retrieval and a pitch session; NAHB picks companies every few weeks.
Eighty spaces at the Central Hall entrance, booth C1160, for products commercially available in the U.S. between February 20, 2026 and February 4, 2027: $1,250 for a table or cabinet, $1,600 for a floor space, up to four per exhibitor.
NAHB sells attendee lists, banners, exhibitor hospitality rooms, app and email advertising and custom packages to exhibitors; its 2027 prospectus says sponsors average 176 percent more leads.
IBS is the largest U.S. residential construction show, with 91,903 registrants in 2026; choose it over JLC LIVE when you sell to production builders and dealers nationwide rather than Northeast remodelers who want hands-on clinics. Every building materials show we build for, side by side →

02 Booths & pricing for IBS 2027
Popular booth sizes at IBS
IBS sells indoor space from 100 square feet and outdoor lots from 400 square feet, priced per square foot, and a hanging sign needs an island or peninsula covering at least 400 square feet. Product makers usually take a 10×20 or larger; a 20×20 island is our pick for brands that want overhead branding plus a mock-up wall.

A finished back wall up to 8 feet showing your window, siding or flooring installed, a counter for spec sheets and a demo strip a builder can touch.

04 Designing for building products, interior finishes, outdoor living, tool and home technology brands selling to home builders at IBS
Four things we get right for IBS exhibitors
1Build the wall, not the poster
Builders at IBS judge a window, siding or framing system by how it installs. We build a cutaway wall section with your product, the flashing and the fasteners exposed, so a superintendent can see the detail in the Central Hall Building Materials rows without opening a brochure.
2Neighbor-facing walls stay blank
NAHB bans company names, logos and advertising on any back or side wall surface facing a neighbor, and any back wall above 8 feet or side wall above 3 feet must be finished. We plan graphics for the aisle faces and finish the backs in plain fabric so nothing gets draped over by show management.
3Hanging signs start at 400 square feet
Only islands and peninsulas of at least 400 square feet may hang anything at IBS, and a peninsula sign must sit 5 feet back from the shared wall. On a 10×20 inline the logo moves to an illuminated rear panel instead, readable across the West, Central or South Hall aisles.
4Demos under 80 decibels
IBS caps every speaker, saw or machine at 80 decibels, speakers must face into your booth, and light or laser shows cannot project past your space. For nail guns, saws or smart-home audio we design an enclosed demo bay with a small stage set back so the crowd never blocks the aisle.

Concept rendering
Your proposal for IBS includes a rendering like this one

Where you could be at IBS 2027
NAHB divides the 2027 IBS floor into six product segments across three Las Vegas Convention Center halls, plus the Outdoor Exhibits, and you choose booths only in the hall that matches your segment.
West Hall
Interior Finishings & Home Living, and Business Management & Professional Services; the LVCC's newest hall, opened in 2021 with high clear heights.
Our advice Flooring, cabinetry, fixtures and software land here, so we light vignettes for finish colors and keep a seat for the builder's purchasing lead.
Central Hall
Building Materials, with the New Product Zone at the hall entrance, booth C1160; older sections can cap hanging-sign heights lower.
Our advice We check the ceiling for your exact section before quoting a hanging sign, and put a cutaway wall at the aisle for walk-by builders.
South Hall
Construction Tools, Systems, Equipment & Safety; Outdoor Living, Leisure & Modular Structures; Global Products pavilions; more Building Materials.
Our advice Level 2 has freight-elevator limits, so we size crates for the lift and plan tool demos inside the 80-decibel cap.
Outdoor Exhibits
Outdoor lots from 400 square feet at $39.00 per square foot for members, home to Pro Builder's Show Village and the Start-Up Zone at P511.
Our advice Modular, decking and equipment exhibits need weather-ready graphics and ballast instead of floor anchors, which we spec from the start.
05 Las Vegas Convention Center · Las Vegas
Logistics for IBS 2027, handled
IBS uses the Las Vegas Convention Center's West, Central and South Halls plus an outdoor area, and NAHB places you in the hall that matches your product segment. Freeman supplies rental carpet and booth cleaning through the service kit, NAHB's official contractors handle all freight, and every booth must have carpet or other flooring. NAHB approves an exhibitor-appointed contractor only on a written request received by January 2, 2027, with insurance and permits attached, which we prepare for you. Forklifts and every freight move belong to Teamsters Local 631, though LVCC shows generally let your full-time employees assemble displays by hand. Booths must be occupied by 5 p.m. on February 1, staffed until 5 p.m. on February 4 and gone by 10 a.m. on February 7. Your Purple project manager runs the install with LVCC labor, and our Las Vegas hub keeps spare graphics and parts in the same city as the hall.
Hall rules, drayage estimates and freight deadlines for the building that hosts IBS are in our Las Vegas Convention Center exhibitor guide.
What Purple handles
- The EAC request NAHB needs by January 2, 2027, with our certificate of insurance and permits
- Freeman orders for carpet, electrical, cleaning and material handling
- Booth walls finished on every neighbor-facing side, with no logos where NAHB bans them
- Hanging-sign layouts for islands and peninsulas of 400 square feet or more
- Fire/Safety submissions for multi-level or covered booths 60 days out
- Storage in Las Vegas between IBS and your next builder or dealer show

IBS timeline, counted back from move-in
Written request to use an exhibitor-appointed contractor due to NAHB: January 2, 2027. Without NAHB's approval by then, an outside crew cannot install your booth, so we file the request with our insurance as soon as your space is confirmed.
We need your IBS design signed off by mid-November 2026.
- Now to mid-November 2026Apply with up to three booth choices in your segment's hall and pay in full, which NAHB requires before assigning space; we sketch against the 2027 floor plans.
- Mid-November 2026Design sign-off, about 10 weeks before move-in; multi-level or covered booths go to the LVCC Fire/Safety Department at least 60 days before the show.
- December 2026Production in our Fishkill, NY shop over 30 to 45 days; Freeman orders placed from the online service kit; payments after December 1 by cashier's check or money order only.
- January 2, 2027Our EAC request reaches NAHB with insurance and permits; the IBS room block closes January 11.
- Late January to 5 p.m. February 1, 2027Your project manager leads the install, gets flooring down and tests lighting before NAHB's occupancy deadline; New Product Zone items check in February 1.
- February 2–4, 2027Show days, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; the booth stays staffed until 5 p.m. February 4, then we dismantle and clear the hall before 10 a.m. February 7.
Planning timeline from Purple. Move-in, freight target and order deadlines are set by the IBS exhibitor kit and your assigned schedule; we confirm them for your booth once you book.

IBS exhibitor questions
Questions exhibitors ask us before IBS
How much does a booth at IBS 2027 cost?
Space is the first line: NAHB charges $55.50 per square foot for members and $63.00 for non-members in 2027, so a 10×20 is $11,100 or $12,600, plus a $300 directory and insurance fee. A 10×20 rental from us runs $7,500 to $15,000, and a 20×20 custom island $50,000 to $120,000. Mock-up walls and heavy samples drive drayage.
What is the deadline for IBS 2027 exhibitors?
The date that matters most for your build is January 2, 2027, when NAHB must have your written request to use an exhibitor-appointed contractor. Payments sent after December 1, 2026 must be by cashier's check or money order, and the IBS room block closes January 11. We need your design signed off by mid-November 2026.
Can we rent a booth for IBS, and what does a rental include?
Our rental kits for IBS start at 10×20 and include the frame, fabric graphics printed for your product line, LED lighting, a counter, flooring and the finished back panels NAHB requires on neighbor-facing walls. Staging at our Las Vegas hub, install, dismantle and storage all sit on one fixed proposal.
Can our own staff set up our booth at the Las Vegas Convention Center?
Your full-time employees can usually put up a display with hand tools in the LVCC, but pallet jacks, forklifts and freight belong to NAHB's official contractor and Teamsters Local 631. Any outside installer needs NAHB approval as an exhibitor-appointed contractor, requested in writing by January 2, 2027, which is the paperwork we file for the labor on your booth.
Can we hang a sign over our IBS booth?
At IBS a sign, light or truss may hang from the LVCC ceiling only over an island or peninsula that reaches 400 square feet. The lowest point must sit at least 9 feet above the floor, and a peninsula sign keeps a 5-foot offset from the shared wall. Inline booths hang nothing, so the rear panel carries the brand with its own lighting.
Can we run saws, nail guns or loud demos at IBS?
Demos are welcome if they stay under 80 decibels, measured on a sound meter, with speakers inside your space facing inward. Light and laser effects cannot project past your booth, and stages must be set back so the audience stays off the aisle. Smoke and fog machines are banned outright, and NAHB enforces these rules on the floor.
What does drayage cost at IBS 2027?
NAHB's own 2027 budget guide puts drayage for 500 pounds at about $650, with carpet for a 10×10 at $340 and 500 watts of power at $180. Material handling is billed by weight, so a mock-up wall or pallet of samples costs more. We consolidate crates onto one shipment and put the estimate on your proposal.
Which hall will our IBS booth be in?
Your product segment decides it. Interior finishes and business services go to the West Hall, Building Materials to the Central Hall, and tools, outdoor living, modular structures and the international pavilions to the South Hall, which also holds more Building Materials. NAHB assigns booths by priority points, LSC membership and payment date.
Can we reuse our IBS booth at other shows?
Most builder-facing exhibits travel well. A 10×20 or island built for IBS can go on to JLC LIVE in Providence in March or the Sunbelt Builders Show in Houston in August, and many brands also take space at KBIS in the same week. We store the booth in Las Vegas between shows and refresh graphics per audience.
When is IBS 2027?
IBS 2027 runs Tuesday, February 2 to Thursday, February 4, 2027 in Las Vegas, and NAHB keeps the exhibit floors open from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. daily. Booths must be occupied by 5 p.m. on Monday, February 1, and fully removed by 10 a.m. on Sunday, February 7.
Where is IBS 2027 held?
At the Las Vegas Convention Center, 3150 Paradise Road, across the West, Central and South Halls and the Outdoor Exhibits, where Pro Builder's Show Village sets up a neighborhood of new homes. The 2026 show was in Orlando; 2027 returns IBS to Las Vegas alongside KBIS.
How many people attend IBS?
NAHB counted 91,903 total registrants at IBS 2026 in Orlando: 58,116 IBS attendees, 16,860 exhibitor staff and 16,927 KBIS visitors who walked the IBS floor. The 2025 Las Vegas show drew 62,429 attendees and 93,485 in total, with 18,879 exhibitor staff registered.
Who organizes IBS?
The National Association of Home Builders owns and produces IBS, and its members build more than 80 percent of new U.S. homes, per the 2027 prospectus. NAHB runs it with the National Kitchen & Bath Association's KBIS as Design & Construction Week, and badges for either show open both exhibit floors.
How do we get a booth at IBS 2027?
New companies submit NAHB's Request to Exhibit form first; returning exhibitors use the 2027 space application, listing up to three booth choices in their segment's hall. Payment is required before NAHB assigns space, and after May 29, 2026 the full amount is due with the application. Cancellations after that date are not refunded.
Before you sign for IBS
Five questions to ask any exhibit builder for IBS:
- Are all fees on paper, including what the contractor at the Las Vegas Convention Center bills?
- Is the booth built in your own shop or by a subcontractor?
- Who from your team is on the IBS floor for install and dismantle?
- For IBS, what is in the rental and what is billed by the show?
- Once IBS closes, where does the booth go and what does storage cost?
Common situations
Already own a booth? We refresh its graphics, repair what is worn, ship and install it for IBS, and store it between shows. You keep the structure you paid for and bring it to IBS.
Exhibiting from outside the US? We handle the ground work for IBS: freight to the advance warehouse, show-service orders, installation and storage, with one project manager replying to your emails in your time zone.
Short on time? A IBS rental carrying your graphics can be ready in two to three weeks. On the first call, we tell you what is realistic for IBS.
