Press-side buyers, two days: Forge Fair 2027 booths in Cleveland, up to 30×40
We build Forge Fair booths that show a press, hammer or induction line the way a forge-shop engineer judges it: tonnage, cycle and die change. Cleveland's exhibit floor carries at least 350 pounds per square foot, and we schedule heavy freight through its enclosed West 3rd Street dock.

What makes Forge Fair different, and how we build for it
Forge Fair is the Forging Industry Association's own trade show, so the floor in Cleveland is built for one trade: open-die and closed-die forging.Suppliers of presses, hammers, induction heating, dies, lubricants and inspection sell to forge-shop owners and engineers, while producers of forgings may exhibit only as FIA members. FIA sells seven booth sizes, from a 10×10 up to a 30×40, and books them on a first and second choice from the MapYourShow floor plan. The 2027 edition runs two days, May 18 and 19, back at the Huntington Convention Center, where FIA moved the 2025 show into a larger exhibit hall.
Uptime, energy per part and scrap numbers on a press or heater, with someone who has run a forge line and can talk about their shop.
Close access to die sets, quick-change tooling, controls and sensors, and a table for drawings and spare-parts questions.
Finished forgings to handle, grain-flow sections and certifications that show what a member forge shop can produce for aerospace, energy or vehicles.
Your team in Cleveland
Built in two shops, run by one project manager
Your Forge Fair booth is built in our own production shop in Fishkill, NY, or at our Las Vegas hub, shipped to the Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland and installed by vetted local labor with our own project manager on the floor. Predictable 30–45-day turnarounds, secure storage and pre-show QA.
When your team gets to Cleveland, the booth is lit and stocked. You just show up.
Inside Forge Fair 2027
Forge Fair rules that shape your booth
FIA opens Forge Fair 2027 to suppliers of equipment, materials and services whether or not they are members, but producers of forgings must be FIA members. We plan producer booths around finished and sectioned parts and member certifications.
A 25 percent deposit secures your Forge Fair booth, no registration is confirmed until payment arrives, and FIA gives no refund if an exhibitor cancels. We settle size and layout with you before you pay.
International exhibitors pay every fee in U.S. funds drawn on a U.S. bank, and presentations must be in English with no interpretation provided. For overseas suppliers we print every graphic and handout in English and handle the U.S. side of freight.
FIA asks for a first and second booth choice from the MapYourShow floor plan when you register for 2027. We mark both on the plan with dock distance and aisle exposure so your choices suit the equipment you ship.
Forge Fair is the forging industry's own U.S. floor, a two-day FIA show with booths up to 30×40; choose it over Metalcasting Congress when your customers shape hot metal in presses and hammers rather than pour it into molds. Every industrial machinery show we build for, side by side →

02 Booths & pricing for Forge Fair 2027
Popular booth sizes at Forge Fair
Forge Fair's 2027 rate card runs from 10×10 to 30×40, with 20×20, 20×30, 20×40 and 30×30 footprints in between, so equipment builders can take a large space to show a heater, manipulator or die cart. We recommend a 10×20 for tooling and inspection suppliers and a 20×30 or larger when machinery travels.

Die samples, lubricant results or a sensor package on a lit counter, a forged-part wall and a screen running the cycle; $7,473 of FIA member early-bird space.

Case study · KLEEMANN
KLEEMANN at an industrial technology exhibition
For a global elevator manufacturer, an interactive booth with digital simulations, real product showcases and a floor plan that guided visitors from first step to last.
KLEEMANN paired real equipment with simulations so visitors understood heavy machinery quickly; a forging supplier's island needs that same mix when the press itself stays home.
Read the KLEEMANN case study All case studies →“Purple Exhibits made us look good. The booth was one of the nicest displays in our section of the convention center and generated a lot of positive comments from both customers and industry peers. Their attention to detail, professionalism, and willingness to go above and beyond made a huge difference.”

04 Designing for forging press, hammer, induction heating, die and tooling suppliers at Forge Fair
Four things we get right for Forge Fair exhibitors
1Show tonnage without the press
A full forging press rarely travels to Forge Fair. We build around a die set, ram section or heater coil at true scale, with tonnage, stroke and cycle figures printed beside it, so an engineer can judge the machine from the part it would touch.
2Forged parts carry the story
Forge Fair buyers read grain flow. We cut a lit niche for sectioned and etched forgings next to the finished part, so producers and the suppliers who serve them can show what the process delivers, not only the equipment.
3Two days, no slow hour
FIA runs the 2027 show over just May 18 and 19, so every hour carries more meetings. We design a counter for quick badge scans at the aisle and a seated table deeper in the island for the conversations that become a quote.
4Heavy is fine on this slab
The Huntington Convention Center rates its exhibit floor at a minimum of 350 pounds per square foot. We still log each crate's weight and point load, plan forklift placement with the dock crew, and set walls only after the heavy piece lands.

Where you could be at Forge Fair 2027
Here is how the Huntington Convention Center itself works for a forging-equipment booth, from the Center's own event planning guide.
Exhibit floor
225,000 square feet of continuous exhibit space; FIA moved Forge Fair 2025 into a larger hall in this building to fit more booths.
Our advice Booths up to 30×40 fit easily; we draw the equipment footprint first and the walls second so sightlines from every open aisle stay clear.
West 3rd Street dock
Enclosed and climate controlled, with 17 usable bays, an HS-20 rated access road and Teamsters Local 407 on every forklift move.
Our advice We order the forklift placement in advance and schedule equipment trucks ahead of booth crates, so the heavy piece is set before walls.
Power and rigging
Electrical, compressed air and rigging are exclusive Center services, ordered through its online exhibitor portal.
Our advice Heaters, controls and screens each need a drop; we order power and air together so one technician connects both.

Logistics for Forge Fair 2027, handled
Forge Fair returns to the Huntington Convention Center, where FIA moved the 2025 show into a larger exhibit hall. The building is union: Teamsters Local 407 handle forklift freight from the enclosed dock, Carpenters build exhibits for contractors, and the Center's own electrical contractor alone supplies power. Your full-time employees may assemble your own machinery and displays with hand tools, which suits equipment builders who send their service techs. We budget drayage here near $145 for every 100 pounds, with a 200-pound floor, and book downtown rooms a walk from the hall. On the floor, our project manager directs vetted Cleveland labor from first crate to last.
Hall rules, drayage estimates and freight deadlines for the building that hosts Forge Fair are in our Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland exhibitor guide.

Forge Fair exhibitor questions
Questions exhibitors ask us before Forge Fair
How much does a booth at Forge Fair 2027 cost?
Space from FIA comes first: a 20×20 is $12,759 for members and $15,344 for non-members at the early-bird rate. A Purple 20×20 rental adds $16,000 to $40,000, a custom island $50,000 to $120,000. Equipment weight, forklift handling and power for a heater or controls move the total most.
What is the early-bird deadline for Forge Fair 2027?
FIA's early-bird pricing runs through November 18, 2026. After that the standard rate applies, for example a member 10×20 rises from $7,473 to $7,983. A 25 percent deposit secures the booth, and May 4, 2027 is the last day to register.
What booth sizes does FIA sell for Forge Fair?
Seven: 10×10, 10×20, 20×20, 20×30, 20×40, 30×30 and 30×40. Member early-bird prices run from $5,168 for a 10×10 to $22,982 for a 30×40, and non-member prices from $6,712 to $26,344. You pick a first and second choice from the MapYourShow floor plan when you register.
Can we rent a booth for Forge Fair?
We do, from a 10×20 inline to a 30×40 island. A rental carries the frame, printed graphics, lighting, plinths sized to your die sets or coils, flooring, freight, install and dismantle on one fixed proposal. Machinery ships from your plant; we plan its placement so walls go up around it.
Can we exhibit at Forge Fair if we make forgings?
Producers of forgings may exhibit only as FIA members, while suppliers of equipment, materials and services can exhibit as members or non-members. For producers we design booths around finished parts, sections and certifications, since the buyers walking the aisles are sourcing forged components.
Can our technicians set up our equipment in Cleveland?
Your full-time employees may assemble and disassemble your own machinery and set up your own display with hand tools at the Huntington Convention Center. Forklift moves from the dock belong to Teamsters Local 407, and electrical connections go through the Center's exclusive contractor. We book both around your techs' schedule.
What does drayage cost for Forge Fair, and who pays?
The exhibitor pays the show's freight contractor by weight. For this Cleveland building Purple's planning figure is near $145 for each 100 pounds with a 200-pound floor, through 2027, and FIA's exhibitor kit sets the final tariff. Equipment shipments are the biggest line, so we consolidate crates and log every weight.
Can we reuse our Forge Fair booth at other shows?
Yes. Plinths, counters and graphic frames built for Forge Fair move on to Metalcasting Congress in the same building, ASM Heat Treat in Columbus or FABTECH with new prints. Between shows we store the kit and track weights so the next freight quote is quick.
Do you handle FIA's exhibitor orders and freight?
We read FIA's exhibitor kit when it opens, order furniture, labor and material handling, book freight targets for Cleveland and order power from the Center's electrical contractor. You approve each order and keep a copy, and our project manager is on the floor for move-in and move-out.
When is Forge Fair 2027?
Tuesday, May 18 and Wednesday, May 19, 2027, per FIA's booth registration listing. Exhibit hall hours and move-in times for 2027 are not confirmed yet; we build the install plan as soon as FIA's exhibitor kit lists them.
Where is Forge Fair 2027 held?
In Cleveland, at the Huntington Convention Center, 300 Lakeside Avenue East. FIA held Forge Fair 2025 in the same building on May 13–15, 2025, after moving it a week to gain a larger exhibit hall. The 2027 housing block is not confirmed yet.
How many people attend Forge Fair?
In its 2025 date-change announcement, FIA described Forge Fair as drawing about 2,000 forging professionals from more than 20 countries; that is the association's general figure, not a count for one edition. Attendance for 2027 is not confirmed yet, so we size staffing for a busy two-day floor.
Who organizes Forge Fair?
The Forging Industry Association, based in Independence, Ohio, organizes Forge Fair and takes booth registrations through forging.org. FIA also runs workshops, a Lobby Day and an Annual Meeting of Members; Forge Fair is its trade show for the whole forging supply chain.
Ask these before you sign
Ask any Forge Fair exhibit builder these five questions:
- Are all fees on paper, including what the contractor at the Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland bills?
- Who actually builds it for Forge Fair: your shop or a subcontractor?
- Will your project manager be on the floor at the Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland for install and dismantle?
- For Forge Fair, what is in the rental and what is billed by the show?
- Where does the booth go after Forge Fair, and what does storage cost?
Common situations
Already own a booth? Bring it: we refresh the graphics, repair what is worn, ship it, install it at Forge Fair and store it until the next show. You keep the structure you paid for and bring it to Forge Fair.
Exhibiting from outside the US? For Forge Fair, we act as your team on the ground: freight to the advance warehouse, show-service orders, installation and storage, and one project manager who answers your emails in your time zone.
Short on time? In two to three weeks, a rental with your graphics can be ready for Cleveland. We tell you on the first call what is realistic before Forge Fair.
