ASM charges $3,500 per 10×10 in 2027 plus $100 per corner, so a 20×20 is $14,000 of space before corner fees. Our rentals run $7,500 to $15,000 for a 10×20 and $16,000 to $40,000 for a 20×20; custom islands $50,000 to $120,000. Equipment enclosures, utilities and structure above 8 feet move the number.

January 8, 2027. ASM refunds 25 percent of a full payment if you cancel in writing by then, and nothing after that date. Full payment is due with the signed contract, so we settle your size and layout before you sign.

ASM encourages operating exhibits, but hot, dirty or noisy ones must be enclosed and meet OSHA rules, and noisy displays may be limited to demonstrations. Combustible oils and gases are banned from the exhibit area, and engines or equipment run only with venue and Show Management consent.

Standard booths stop at 8 feet including signage. Islands and peninsulas over 400 square feet, and perimeter booths, may go to 14 feet, and the limits do not apply to steel-industry machinery as regularly built. No company name may appear above the permitted background height.

Yes. The center operates as a non-union building by its own policy, so your staff can load, unload and assemble without union cards. Electrical service stays with hall management, and outside contractors need ASM's advance permission, which we request for you.

The show's service contractor bills material handling by weight under the Exhibitor Service Manual. For this building we budget near $130 per 100 pounds, charged on a 200-pound minimum, in 2026 and 2027. Equipment is the heaviest line, so we crate, weigh and consolidate before shipping.

A rental from us brings the frame, graphics, LED lighting, counters at instrument height, an equipment enclosure if you need one, flooring, freight, install and dismantle on a fixed proposal. ASM's own 10×10 package includes an 8-foot backdrop, 36-inch side rails and an 11×17 ID sign.

The walls, enclosure panels and counters move on to Forge Fair or Metalcasting Congress in Cleveland, FABTECH or AISTech with fresh prints. We store everything between shows and keep your equipment dimensions on file for the next layout.

We do. When ASM releases the online Exhibitor Service Manual we order labor, furniture, electrical, air and water, book freight to the warehouse dates it lists, submit drawings for structure above 8 feet and file your certificate of insurance naming ASM International.

The conference runs October 5–7, 2027 in Columbus. The expo floor is open Tuesday, October 5 from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Wednesday, October 6 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with move-out from 5 p.m. Wednesday. Setup is Monday, October 4, with Sunday available by request for booths of 400 square feet or more.

At the Greater Columbus Convention Center, 400 North High Street, Columbus, Ohio. ASM's 2027 hotel blocks are at the Hilton Columbus Downtown ($289 a night), the Canopy Columbus Downtown Short North ($221) and the Sonesta Columbus Downtown ($235), with cutoffs between September 9 and September 12, 2027.

ASM's event page cites 600+ exhibitors and thousands of attendees across the co-located events, an undated organizer figure rather than a 2027 count. Heat Treat 2025 at Huntington Place in Detroit, the 33rd conference and exposition, scheduled more than 100 technical presentations. Exhibitor and attendance numbers for 2027 are not confirmed yet.

Heat Treat is a trade event with admission by badge only, and children under 18 are not permitted in the exhibit hall. Exhibitors receive unlimited booth personnel badges and unlimited complimentary VIP expo passes to hand out to customers.
