What makes Interwire different, and how we build for it
Interwire is the Wire Association International's biennial Conference & Trade Exposition, the largest and longest-running wire and cable marketplace in the Americas since 1981, and it has filled the Georgia World Congress Center for most editions. It runs alongside WAI's Annual Convention, with exhibiting companies, speakers and visitors from more than 50 countries and training on wire manufacturing fundamentals, advanced extrusion, safety, digital transformation and nonferrous rod production running beside the floor. Buyers from automotive, construction, aerospace, transportation and communications supply chains are production people who want to see the machine, the feedstock and the finished wire in one place. A booth that shows input, process and output, with an operator who can talk specification, wins the technical conversation.
A clear view of the machine's input and output, a labeled finished sample they can hold, and an engineer at the booth who can answer line-speed and tolerance questions.
Inspection screens paired with a physical wire sample, a line diagram for integration talks, and a worktable where drawings can be spread out.
A comparison surface for cable constructions and materials by application, and a quiet meeting nook for pricing and lead-time discussions.
Purple in Atlanta
Local crew, national shop
Atlanta’s position as a logistics hub gives our team the edge in fast freight coordination. We manage everything from drayage to dismantle with precision timing so your booth moves through one of America’s busiest corridors without friction.
Predictable 30–45-day turnarounds, secure storage and pre-show QA. Your booth ships from our production shop in Fishkill, NY or our Las Vegas hub, and our project manager is on the floor for install and dismantle.

Booth options for Interwire 2027
Pick a footprint. We’ll price it as a rental, a custom build, or a hybrid.
Interwire floors are dominated by machinery builders running equipment on islands, so an inline booth needs one machine, one accurate model or one strong process wall to read from the aisle. Most Purple clients at wire and cable shows land between a 10×20 with a sample library and a 20×30 island with a working machine and a meeting area.

A process wall, an edited set of reels and cut sections on engineered supports, and one discussion counter.

A machine section or scale model between a labeled feedstock sample and a finished-wire display, plus a small table for technical talks.
See 10×20 rental booths →
A full machine with operator space, an inspection station, a sample comparison surface and an open meeting table under a hanging sign.
See 20×20 rental booths →
Several equipment or product stations along one visual process line, a shared meeting area, storage for spare reels and space for two divisions to staff.
See 20×30 rental booths →All-in 2026 ranges for design, structure, graphics, installation and dismantle; booth space, drayage and show services are separate. A custom-built booth runs roughly $100 to $250 per square foot depending on finish level. A rental of the same footprint usually lands at 35 to 50 percent of the purchase price for one show. Designing for wire and cable machinery, materials and inspection suppliers at Interwire
Four things we get right for Interwire exhibitors

Let visitors follow the material
A wire or cable demonstration has a direction: material enters, a process happens, a result comes out. We place the machine, reel supports and inspection point so that route is visible from the aisle while the operator keeps clear working space and the brand reads above it.

Treat reels as engineered display
We record reel dimensions, weight and handling needs before anything goes on the plan, then build purpose-made supports that separate displayed material from operational feedstock and keep the visitor edge clear around the real machine, with packaging stored out of the presentation.

Give finished wire its own counter
Cross-sections, finishes and construction differences are hard to see at a distance. We give the output sample a dedicated viewing surface with consistent labels, beside concise process information, so technical discussion never interrupts the machine presentation or replenishment.
Pair the inspection screen with a sample
For measurement and inspection suppliers we mount the physical reference sample next to a readable result screen and a line diagram, so the presenter runs one scenario at a time and visitors see the output without standing in the operator's working space.

Concept rendering
Every proposal comes with a rendering like this

Logistics for Interwire 2027, handled
The Georgia World Congress Center is 1.4 million square feet across Buildings A, B and C, and Georgia is a right-to-work state, so your own staff can work alongside our crew without a union card. Drayage and utilities still route through the show's official contractor, and we plan on about $150 per hundredweight with a 200-pound minimum. The GWCC warehouse takes no event freight and holds no exhibitor crates, so we ship machinery and reels to the show's advance warehouse, sequence the crates so the main machine lands first, and arrange empty-crate handling. Hotels along International Boulevard and the Omni at CNN Center are a walk from the halls, and MARTA stops at the campus door.
Hall rules, drayage estimates and freight deadlines for this building are in our Georgia World Congress Center exhibitor guide.

Interwire exhibitor questions
Questions exhibitors ask us before Interwire
How much does a 20×20 at Interwire cost?
A 20×20 rental island runs $16,000 to $40,000 and a custom 20×20 island $50,000 to $120,000, all in for design, structure, graphics and installation. A working machine adds utilities, supports and heavier drayage; send us the equipment envelope and weights and we return a fixed quote.
Can you install our machine at the Georgia World Congress Center?
Yes. We plan the machine envelope, operator space and reel access on the actual hall drawing, schedule the equipment freight with the show's contractor so it lands before the walls go up, and our Atlanta crew sets and levels it before you arrive.
Can we rent a booth for Interwire?
Yes. A 10×20 rental with your graphics lands between $7,500 and $15,000, and we add custom reel supports or a sample counter to any rental frame. Many first-time Interwire exhibitors rent the structure and own the sample fixtures for reuse.
When do we need to decide?
Design sign-off by mid-February gives a comfortable 30 to 45-day build and an April ship to the advance warehouse. Later is possible; the trade-off is choice of finishes, freight cost and how much time the machine has on the floor before opening.
Do you handle the service-contractor orders and drayage?
Yes. We read the Interwire exhibitor kit, order material handling, electrical and rigging through the show's official contractor, book your target date and keep you copied on every deadline so no form is left to chance.
