Thermal Management Expo 2027 booth design & build in Cleveland
Custom and rental exhibits for thermal materials, cooling components and test services, built so an engineer can pick up the sample and follow the heat path. Cutaway fixtures, glare-free lighting for metal and film samples, and Cleveland freight and installation handled by Purple.

What makes Thermal Management Expo different, and how we build for it
Thermal Management Expo North America shares Hall A & B of the Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland with Ceramics Expo, and one registration opens both floors, so a heat-sink or interface-material booth gets ceramics and advanced-materials buyers walking past as well as its own crowd. The conference program runs across aerospace, vehicle batteries, data centers, semiconductors and power electronics, and the Exhibitor & VIP Networking Reception on April 19 puts exhibitors in front of the speakers and VIP buyers the evening before the doors open. Two exhibit days is a short window. A booth that explains one application from the aisle and proves it with a sample up close earns the meeting.

A simple source-to-destination heat-path diagram with your component highlighted, paired with a physical section or model so the boundaries of the claim are clear.
The engineering question, the input conditions and the result side by side, with a nearby screen for a deeper look while the main display stays readable to everyone else.

Booth options for Thermal Management Expo 2027
Pick a footprint. We’ll price it as a rental, a custom build, or a hybrid.
The floor is mostly inline space with a smaller set of islands from the larger materials and cooling suppliers, so a 10×10 with one clear application graphic reads well. Purple clients at thermal and electronics shows usually choose a 10×20 with a sample counter or a 20×20 island with a cutaway and a meeting table.

One application graphic, a sample counter with labeled interface materials or heat sinks, and a stool for the first conversation.

An island with a cutaway hero piece, a screen for simulation or test results, a working sample studio and an open meeting table under a hanging sign.
See 20×20 rental booths →
Several application stations sharing one explanatory sequence, a powered cooling demonstration, a closed meeting room and storage for handling samples.
See 20×30 rental booths →All-in 2026 ranges for design, structure, graphics, installation and dismantle; booth space, drayage and show services are separate. A custom-built booth runs roughly $100 to $250 per square foot depending on finish level. A rental of the same footprint usually lands at 35 to 50 percent of the purchase price for one show. Designing for thermal management and electronics cooling suppliers at Thermal Management Expo
Four things we get right for Thermal Management Expo exhibitors

Show the heat path first
Open with the application, locate your material or component in a sectioned assembly, then present the evidence beside it. Visitors from three disciplines follow the same sequence, so we carry one set of labels across the model, the screen and the printed reference.

Light samples without glare
Metal, ceramic and film samples hide their features under a badly angled fixture. We check your real pieces under the proposed lights from several visitor positions, adjust angle and intensity, and keep comparison samples under identical viewing conditions so a difference is real, not lighting.
Mount layers so they read
When placement is the point, a spaced or exploded representative section shows exactly where your interface material or cooling layer sits without an operating assembly in the booth. We label each layer and its role and have your engineers approve the geometry before fabrication.
Separate the demo from the story
A live thermal demonstration needs power, a stable setup and a presenter. We build the surrounding walls so they still explain the offer when the demo is paused, give the presenter a prepared result, and place a screen nearby for the deeper simulation or test discussion.

Concept rendering
Every proposal comes with a rendering like this

Logistics for Thermal Management Expo 2027, handled
The Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland is a union building; Ohio has no right-to-work law, so booth labor and hand-carry rules follow the show contractor's tariff, and we staff accordingly. Our planning figure for drayage is about $145 per hundredweight with a 200-pound minimum, which we build into your quote. Hall A & B sits on the downtown campus at 1 St Clair Avenue NE, a short walk from the downtown hotels and the RTA Red Line, 20 to 25 minutes from Cleveland Hopkins. We read the exhibitor kit, order the contractor services, ship to the advance warehouse and have our Midwest crew install before the April 19 reception.
Hall rules, drayage estimates and freight deadlines for this building are in our Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland exhibitor guide.

Thermal Management Expo exhibitor questions
Questions exhibitors ask us before Thermal Management Expo
How much does a 10×20 at Thermal Management Expo cost?
A complete 10×20 rental runs $7,500 to $15,000 and a custom 10×20 $15,000 to $45,000, covering design, structure, graphics and installation. A 20×20 custom island lands between $50,000 and $120,000. Sample fixtures, cutaways and a live demo move the number; send us your product list and we return a fixed quote.
Can you install at the Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland?
Yes. Our Midwest crew installs in Hall A & B, works within the union labor rules that apply in Ohio, and has the booth standing and inspected before the April 19 Exhibitor & VIP Networking Reception. A Purple project manager stays on call through both exhibit days and the dismantle.
Can we rent a booth for Thermal Management Expo?
Yes. Rental structures with your graphics, custom sample fixtures on a rental frame, or a fully custom build are all available. Many first-time exhibitors at this show take a 10×10 or 10×20 rental with a custom sample counter and cutaway, then reuse those pieces at their next electronics or battery show.
When do we need to decide?
Design sign-off in early February 2027 gives a 30 to 45-day build and a late-March ship to the advance warehouse. We can start later; the trade-off is choice of finishes, time for your engineers to approve the cutaway geometry, and higher freight cost for a direct-to-show delivery.
Do you handle the service contractor orders and drayage?
Yes. We read the exhibitor kit, file the booth forms, order electrical for demos and screens, book the material handling and ship on the target date. Drayage at the Huntington Convention Center is planned at about $145 per hundredweight with a 200-pound minimum, and we build it into your quote.
