Rooms, not shelves: KBIS 2027 kitchen and bath booths in Las Vegas
We build KBIS booths as finished kitchens and baths a designer can stand in, open and specify from, the way Fabuwood's award-winning 13-room booth worked at KBIS 2026. At the Las Vegas Convention Center we file the Freeman orders and finish installation before the 5 p.m. Monday deadline.

What makes KBIS different, and how we build for it
KBIS is the trade show of the National Kitchen & Bath Association, produced by Emerald, and it never runs alone: with the NAHB International Builders' Show it forms Design & Construction Week, which drew 117,000 registrants in Orlando in 2026. For 2027 it returns to the Las Vegas Convention Center with 650+ brands. Winners of Best of KBIS, Innovation Hour and the Best Booth Awards are announced live on NEXTStage, the LUXURY Lounge hosts high-end designer talks, and Discovery District gathers rising brands. Space is assigned by a priority point system that rewards NKBA membership, show history and past awards, so where you stand in Las Vegas depends partly on how you exhibited before.
Designers specify for client projects, so they want to touch finishes, open drawers and see a product in a real room layout, then leave with spec sheets and a showroom contact.
They are deciding which lines to put on their showroom floor next; they ask about display programs, dealer margins, lead times and who supports them after the sale.
Design & Construction Week brings builders across from IBS; they look for durable, installable products at volume pricing and want to hear about delivery and installation support.
Your team in Las Vegas
Two shops behind your KBIS booth
We build in our own production shop in Fishkill, NY, and our Las Vegas hub, ship to the Las Vegas Convention Center, and install with our own project manager on the floor and vetted local labor. Every KBIS build runs a predictable 30 to 45 days and gets a pre-show QA, with secure storage after.
The booth is lit and stocked when your team reaches the Las Vegas Convention Center. You just show up.
New at KBIS 2027
- Back at the Las Vegas Convention Center
After the 2026 show in Orlando, NKBA has KBIS at the Las Vegas Convention Center on February 2–4, 2027, 15 days earlier in the calendar than the February 17–19, 2026 dates. A booth built or stored in the East travels farther to Las Vegas on a shorter runway, so freight should leave the shop in early January. source
- Roundtables added to Voices from the Industry
NKBA says the 2027 VFTI conference adds a brand-new roundtable format and more panels and workshops across its six tracks, with Laura Kohler as keynote. Designers will spend more of each show day in session rooms, so dealer meetings and live demos work best when booked around the session times. source
- An expanded NKBA booth
NKBA is enlarging its own booth for 2027 and using it to promote Global Connect, its international business membership, with meetings between members from design centers abroad. Overseas brands looking for North American dealers get a fixed meeting point on the floor to send contacts to. source
Inside KBIS 2027
Rules that shape your booth
KBIS requires every booth to order or supply its own carpet or flooring within the purchased space. We design the floor as part of the room set, tile, wood or LVP with ramped edges, so nothing sits on bare LVCC concrete.
Only island, split-island and peninsula booths of 400 sq ft or more may hang signs; Freeman is the exclusive rigger and signs ship separately to its advance warehouse. We engineer the sign to the Hanging Signs & Airborne Objects rules and label it for Freeman.
Under the KBIS Clean Floor Policy all cutting and sawing equipment must have dust bags or collection containers, and cutting outside your space brings cleaning fees. We pre-cut in our Fishkill shop and fit collection to every saw used on site.
Every KBIS exhibit has to be complete at 5 p.m. Monday, February 1, 2027, with crates labeled and removed by 3 p.m. and ladders gone by 7 a.m. Tuesday. We build the schedule backward from that hour.
Exhibitors may not dismantle any part of a booth before 5 p.m. Thursday, February 4; breaking the rule can mean monetary penalties or lost priority points. Our project manager schedules dismantle to start after the close.
Programs worth planning for
NKBA's product awards program for kitchen and bath innovation, design and technology, with winners announced live on NEXTStage during KBIS; past winners earn ten priority points per award.
Awards for standout exhibit design at KBIS, presented live on NEXTStage; each award also counts ten priority points toward the next year's space selection.
A KBIS show area for innovative and trending products from rising stars and established brands, built for companies newer to the show.
Country pavilions presented by NKBA Global Connect with partner associations, hosting products from Germany, Italy and Brazil; KBIS counts 200+ international exhibitors.
KBIS is North America's largest kitchen and bath show and half of Design & Construction Week; choose it over IBS when your buyers are designers, dealers and showrooms specifying finishes rather than production builders buying by the house. Popular booth sizes at KBIS
KBIS sells space by the square foot, from linear booths with an 8-foot back drape to islands, plus outdoor space; hanging signs start at 400 square feet. Exhibitors with full room settings usually take 20×30 or larger. We recommend a 10×20 for a hardware or fixture line, and an island once you show complete kitchens.

04 Designing for kitchen and bath appliance, plumbing, cabinetry, surface, lighting and hardware brands at KBIS
Four things we get right for KBIS exhibitors
1Build rooms designers can enter
Fabuwood's 13-room environment won attention at KBIS 2026 because designers walked through finished spaces. We build complete kitchens and baths with real countertops, working drawers and task lighting, so a designer at the LVCC specifies from the room, not a catalog.
2KBIS is a No Concrete Show
Every KBIS booth must order or supply its own carpet or flooring within the purchased space. We make the floor part of the design: tile, wood or LVP set like a finished room, with ramped edges, so the kitchen sits on a real floor instead of show carpet.
3Hanging signs need 400 square feet
At KBIS a hanging sign is allowed only over an island, split island or peninsula covering at least 400 square feet, and Freeman is the exclusive rigger. Under that size we put height into a lit portal or header within the rules, so the brand still reads across the aisle.
4Plan for Monday at 5 p.m.
KBIS requires every exhibit fully installed by 5 p.m. on Monday, February 1, crates cleared by 3 p.m. and ladders out by 7 a.m. Tuesday. Cabinet runs and countertops take time, so we schedule installation days earlier and keep a punch-list day before the deadline.

Concept rendering
Every KBIS proposal includes a rendering like this

Where you could be at KBIS 2027
KBIS has not published which LVCC halls it uses in 2027. These are the halls this building uses for Design & Construction Week-size shows, and what each means for a kitchen and bath booth.
West Hall
Opened in 2021, about 600,000 sq ft: the LVCC's newest hall, with tall clear heights, generous aisles and the campus's strongest dock access.
Our advice Only island, split-island and peninsula booths of 400 sq ft or more may hang a sign at KBIS, so size the footprint first if a hanging sign matters to you.
Central Hall
The original-site hall, about 623,000 sq ft, refreshed in a 2023 to 2025 renovation; older sections keep lower ceilings.
Our advice Ceiling height varies by section, so we check your booth's clearance before designing tall room walls or a sign.
Outdoor exhibit space
KBIS sells outdoor space for 2027 at $39.00 per sq ft for NKBA members and $44.00 for non-members.
Our advice Outdoor kitchens and grills belong here; we build weather-ready platforms, shade and graphics that survive a February desert wind.
05 Las Vegas Convention Center · Las Vegas
Logistics for KBIS 2027, handled
KBIS shares the Las Vegas Convention Center with IBS, and every delivering carrier checks in at the Freeman Marshaling Yard before reaching the docks. Freeman is the general contractor and the exclusive aerial rigger, and hanging signs ship separately to the Freeman advance warehouse with their own labels. Your full-time employees may set up with hand tools and a non-motorized hand cart; everything else goes through Freeman and Teamsters Local 631. We file the EAC Notification Form and insurance online, our Las Vegas hub runs the install with our project manager on the floor, and we respect the no-dismantle rule until 5 p.m. Thursday.
For hall rules, drayage estimates and freight deadlines in this building, see our Las Vegas Convention Center exhibitor guide.
What Purple handles
- Finished kitchen and bath room sets
- Floors for a No Concrete Show
- Hanging signs within the 400 sq ft rule
- EAC Notification Form and insurance filing
- Installation done before Monday's 5 p.m. cutoff
- Storage at our Las Vegas hub until KBIS 2028

KBIS exhibitor questions
Questions exhibitors ask us before KBIS
When is KBIS 2027?
KBIS 2027 runs Tuesday, February 2 through Thursday, February 4, 2027, with the expo floor running from 9 in the morning until 5 every day and the Voices from the Industry conference running alongside. KBIS 2028 is set for February 22–24, 2028, also in Las Vegas with IBS.
Where is KBIS 2027 held?
KBIS 2027 is back on the LVCC campus on Paradise Road, where it co-locates with the NAHB International Builders' Show as Design & Construction Week. The same week, TISE runs at Mandalay Bay on the south Strip, so plan travel time between venues if your team covers both.
How much does booth space at KBIS 2027 cost?
NKBA members pay $55.50 per square foot for indoor space at KBIS 2027 and non-members $63.00; outdoor space is $39.00 and $44.00. Each booth also carries an $800 Basic Marketing Fee and a $725 Lead Capture Fee. Our build sits on top: a 20×20 custom island typically runs $50,000 to $120,000.
How does KBIS assign booth space?
By priority points, tallied on February 2, 2026: five points per 10×10 unit taken at KBIS 2026, five per year of participation, 20 for NKBA membership, ten per Best of KBIS or Best Booth award, and more for sponsorship spend. Higher totals choose earlier; co-exhibitors earn no points.
What comes with a KBIS booth?
Linear, corner and perimeter spaces include a back drape eight feet tall, side rails three feet tall and a 7×44-inch ID sign; split islands, peninsulas and end-caps get the back wall and sign; islands get neither. KBIS is a No Concrete Show, so every booth needs its own flooring.
Can we have a hanging sign at KBIS?
Only in island, split-island or peninsula booths of 400 square feet or more; end-caps and linear booths never qualify. Freeman is the exclusive rigger, and signs ship separately to the Freeman advance warehouse. Non-compliant designs need a variance through the Booth and Hanging Sign Variance Request Form.
When must our KBIS booth be finished?
The Clean Floor Policy sets 5 p.m. on Monday, February 1, 2027 as the finish line, with empty crates and skids labeled and removed by 3 p.m. that day and ladders out of the hall by 7 a.m. Tuesday. Freeman then lays aisle carpet, and there are no exceptions.
Can we set up our own booth at the LVCC for KBIS?
Your full-time employees may install and dismantle by hand or with a company-owned, non-motorized two-wheeled cart; pallet jacks and powered equipment go through Freeman. Any outside builder must be registered through the EAC Notification Form with its certificate of insurance and wear the daily EAC wristband.
When can we tear down at KBIS 2027?
Not before the 5 p.m. close on Thursday, February 4; early dismantling can bring monetary penalties or lost priority points. Move-out runs 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. that Thursday, then Friday and Saturday, ending at noon Sunday, February 7, with Freeman coordinating every vehicle at the docks.
How many people attend KBIS?
Design & Construction Week, KBIS plus IBS, recorded 117,000 registrants, 2,250 exhibitors and 1,150,000 net square feet in Orlando in 2026, after a record 124,000+ in 2025. KBIS itself cites 55,000+ verified attendance and 650+ brands for its 2027 edition.
Is KBIS open to the public?
KBIS is open to industry professionals only, and registration is non-refundable with no substitutions. Children under 18 may attend if supervised at all times and registered on site. Unauthorized photography or video of booths is not allowed without the exhibitor's permission.
Can we host a meeting during KBIS?
Convention center meeting rooms are booked through your KBIS sales executive, first come, first served. Rooms in the KBIS hotel block go only to KBIS 2027 exhibitors, need show management approval through the hotel, and cannot overlap expo hours on February 2–4.
Where do KBIS exhibitors stay?
EventSphere is the official housing agent for KBIS, and reservations go through the show's Hotel Reservations page. The Westgate is connected to the LVCC by walkway with its own Monorail stop, and the Renaissance sits next to the Central Hall entrance.
Is KBIS worth exhibiting at?
For kitchen and bath brands selling to designers, dealers and remodelers, it is North America's largest show for the category, and Design & Construction Week puts IBS builders in the same halls. KBIS reports 200+ international exhibitors and 100+ first-time exhibitors each year.
Before you sign for KBIS
Ask any KBIS exhibit builder these five questions:
- Will the proposal show every KBIS fee, including show contractor charges?
- Who actually builds it for KBIS: your shop or a subcontractor?
- Who from your team is on the KBIS floor for install and dismantle?
- For KBIS, what is in the rental and what is billed by the show?
- Once KBIS closes, where does the booth go and what does storage cost?
Common situations
Already own a booth? Your existing booth gets refreshed graphics and repairs, then we ship it to Las Vegas, install it and store it between shows. You keep using the structure you already paid for.
Exhibiting from outside the US? For KBIS, we act as your team on the ground: freight to the advance warehouse, show-service orders, installation and storage, and one project manager who answers your emails in your time zone.
Short on time? A KBIS rental carrying your graphics can be ready in two to three weeks. On the first call, we tell you what is realistic for KBIS.
