What makes New York Build Expo different, and how we build for it
New York Build calls itself New York's biggest Festival of Construction: two days in Javits Center Hall 3B with 14 free conference tracks, AIA/CES workshops for architects, and dedicated Government, Architect's and Networking Hubs. Oliver Kinross, part of Nineteen Group, runs it with InstallerSHOW New York alongside, inside the US Build portfolio with Chicago Build and Miami Build. Rules that shape your New York Build Expo booth
The Javits requires show managers, contractors and exhibitors to hire Javits personnel for designated services unless an exemption applies. Our project manager orders and supervises the union crew for your booth.
The organizer names Expo Event Services as general show contractor, Livebuzz for lead retrieval, ATD for AV and TS Shipper for domestic shipping, and asks exhibitors to check any other supplier. We order through these partners.
Oliver Kinross states it will not sell data, and emails offering New York Build attendee lists are unauthorized. We set up Livebuzz scanning so your leads come from the floor.

New York Build publishes no booth sizes or rates; exhibitors request a sales brochure and floorplan from Oliver Kinross. Four things we get right for New York Build Expo exhibitors
1Show a New York job
Visitors at New York Build work on tight Manhattan and Brooklyn sites. We print a large photo and three numbers from a New York project you supplied, such as floors, schedule and crane days, so a contractor sees your product in their own conditions.
2Build light for Javits freight
Javits material handling is billed by weight and ranks among the costliest anywhere. We use aluminum frames and fabric graphics instead of wood walls, and ship one consolidated, crated load from Fishkill to cut the bill.
3Samples architects can take
AIA/CES workshops pull architects through Hall 3B between sessions. We build a sample library with labeled finishes and QR links to spec sheets, so an architect leaves with your product in their next drawing set.
4Plan for two long days
The floor runs 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, with networking parties in the evening. We add a lockable storage closet and a charging point, so your team stays on the floor without leaving the booth.

New York Build uses Hall 3B on Level 3, the Javits Center's main exhibit level, with the conference stages and hubs inside the show.

Part of the Javits main floor of about 500,000 contiguous square feet, with clear heights of roughly 30 feet under the space frame and a 90-foot column grid.
Our advice Signs can only hang where the space frame offers a rigging node, so we check the node layout over your booth before sizing the sign.

The Javits expansion moved truck queuing indoors: carriers check in at the four-level marshaling facility and wait for a dock call.

Logistics for New York Build Expo 2027, handled
New York Build fills Hall 3B on Level 3 of the Javits Center, the main exhibit level, where islands and hanging signs follow the space-frame rigging points. Expo Event Services (EES) is the general show contractor, ATD Audio Visual the AV company and TS Shipper the domestic shipping partner. The Javits requires its own union labor for designated services: Teamsters move freight, carpenters build booths and electricians handle power, and trucks check in at the indoor marshaling facility before a dock call. Your booth and project manager come down from our Fishkill shop the same morning, and we file the EES and Javits orders.

Who is the general contractor for New York Build?
Expo Event Services (EES) is the official general show contractor. The organizer also lists Livebuzz for registration and lead retrieval, ATD Audio Visual for AV, PTEX Group for graphics, TS Shipper for domestic shipping and Phoenix International for international freight. We place your EES orders.
Can we set up our own booth at the Javits?
Only small, simple displays. The Javits reserves designated services for its own union personnel; under Purple's Javits venue guide, a display your own full-time staff can put up with no tools or ladders, within 250 square feet, is the exception. Anything else is carpenter work, which our project manager supervises.
What does drayage cost at the Javits?
We plan Javits drayage at roughly $195 per hundredweight for 2026 and 2027, with a 200-pound floor per shipment, and extra charges when freight arrives late or uncrated. Your EES kit sets the actual rate; we put the estimate on the proposal and build light.
Can architects earn AIA credits at New York Build?
New York Build offers AIA/CES approved training workshops across both days, in categories such as Sustainability, Building Solutions & Materials, Digital Construction and Architecture & Design. That keeps architects on the floor between sessions, so a sample library near your counter pays off.
What is InstallerSHOW New York?
InstallerSHOW New York is co-hosted with New York Build at the Javits. Both belong to the US Build portfolio, which also includes Chicago Build Expo and Miami Build Expo, so one booth kit from us can travel the series.
Should we buy attendee lists offered for New York Build?
The organizer warns that companies emailing attendee lists or databases are not affiliated with New York Build or Oliver Kinross, which will not sell data under any circumstances. Treat those emails as spam and use Livebuzz lead retrieval on the floor.
Where should exhibitors stay for New York Build?
