Space is raw floor priced by size: $36.65 per square foot for 100 to 299 square feet in 2027, so a 10×20 costs $7,330, falling to $30.55 from 300 square feet and $17.25 above 3,000. Our 10×20 rental runs $7,500 to $15,000; a laid sample floor and racks move the build cost.

Floor space only. The ballroom is already carpeted, so you need no flooring, but furniture, drape and services are extra: drape runs $1.99 per linear foot at 8 feet high, and equipment comes from Grit Productions, the general service contractor, through the exhibitor kit.

Installing or displaying flooring is allowed once an approved protective barrier covers the ballroom carpet, and exhibitors pay for any carpet damage from installing, removing or using exhibit materials. We supply the barrier and lay your product as a floating floor that lifts cleanly.

We rent SWFM booths from 10×20 up: frame, printed graphics, LED lighting, sample racks and a counter, plus the protective barrier for a laid floor. Freight, install, dismantle and storage sit on one fixed proposal, and the kit is sized for ballroom ceilings.

Now. Payment is due on receipt of the invoice for space contracted after August 1, 2026, and with the market on January 7 we need design sign-off by early November to build in our 30 to 45 day window and ship before the holidays.

Grit Productions is the general service contractor for SWFM 2027, and booth equipment and services are ordered through it from the exhibitor kit. We place those orders for you, add them to the proposal and handle anything delivered to the ballroom.

A flooring booth built for Arlington travels to TISE in Las Vegas later in January, the NWFA Expo in Fort Worth in April or Coverings in Orlando for tile lines. We store it between shows and swap sample boards and graphics for each audience.

SWFM 2027 runs Thursday, January 7, 2027 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday, January 8 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Arlington, Texas. It is a two-day regional market, so most dealer conversations happen on Thursday.

In the Honor Ballroom on the first floor of the Loews Arlington Hotel & Convention Center, 888 Nolan Ryan Expressway, Arlington, Texas. A skybridge links it to Live! by Loews, where Shaw Floors holds its own market, so buyers can walk between three markets in the two hotels.

Over 800 buyers and dealers attended the 2024 market, the latest count the organizer publishes, and it says 78 percent of participants hold buying decision power. Across its markets, Flooring Markets reports 3.2K professionals from 25 states and 100+ exhibiting brands.

Market Maker Events runs it under the Flooring Markets name. Its Gulf Coast and Southeast markets are on pause while the organizer weighs exhibitor demand, so Arlington is the only Flooring Markets event on the calendar.

SWFM's eligible categories are carpet, rugs, hardwood and engineered hardwood, tile, laminate, resilient LVP and LVT, stone, tools and equipment, technology, installation products, underlayment, carpet sewing machines and supplies. Exhibitors are flooring manufacturers, distributors, technology providers and service providers.

The 888-room Loews Arlington, connected to the convention center, is the headquarter hotel, with Live! by Loews across the street. The official block and event rates are being finalized, and only Market Maker Events or Eleventh & Gather staff will contact you about rooms.
