We build Coverings booths where a distributor can lift the sample, run a hand over the slab and sit down to talk container terms within a few steps of the aisle. In the OCCC North/South Building, rigging and power come from the venue's own crews, and we order them before early pricing closes.

What makes Coverings different, and how we build for it
Coverings moves back to Orlando in 2027 after its 2026 stop at the Las Vegas Convention Center, and starts three straight years at the OCCC.The show is backed by Ceramics of Italy, Tile of Spain, TCNA, NTCA and CTDA, so country pavilions share aisles with independent tile, stone and tool brands. In 2026 the floor carried the Installation Innovation Stage, the Fabricator Stage, the Stone Fabricator's Alliance Cage and the Artisan Showcase, with NTCA-led Contractor Tours walking buyers past booths. The CID Awards and the VIP Specifiers program bring architects in. Buyers judge a surface by hand, so we put the hero material within reach of the aisle.
Full collections side by side with readable labels on every piece, and a table out of the aisle where range, pricing and container terms can be settled.
Room-scale settings that show format, joint width and pattern at the size they will specify, lit so the tone they see is the tone that ships.

- Back in Orlando for the first of three straight years
After its 2026 stop at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Coverings returns to the Orange County Convention Center on April 6–9, 2027 and stays in Orlando through 2029. Exhibitors who shipped to Las Vegas in 2026 need new freight routing, OCCC labor and electrical orders and an Orlando hotel plan, and the same setup then repeats for two more years. source
- A bigger floor than 2026
Coverings says the 2027 show will bring together nearly 1,000 exhibitors from 40 countries, up from 750 exhibitors at the 2026 Las Vegas show. With more booths competing for each buyer's day, the hero product has to read from the aisle and the meeting table needs to be booked ahead. source
Inside Coverings 2027
Coverings rules that shape your booth
Exhibitors may hand-carry through the main entrance during official move-in and move-out hours only when the load is under 300 pounds and no material-handling equipment is used, and hand-carriers may not use the docks (2027 FAQ). We send every slab and crate through the dock.
Coverings linear booths include an 8-foot black back drape and 3-foot black side drape, and booths of 300 square feet or less get an identification sign (2027 FAQ). We build the feature wall to stand in front of that drape and keep side returns low.
Coverings requires exhibitor authorization for booth photography, and if an exhibitor objects, photographing that display is prohibited (2027 FAQ). We add a discreet no-photography notice for unreleased collections and leave launch walls open for press.
Anyone who is not a legitimate Coverings exhibitor is barred from soliciting business in aisles or public spaces (2027 FAQ). We give your team a booth edge that invites visitors in, since all selling has to happen inside your space.

Coverings mixes Italian and Spanish pavilion stands and large slab producers on island space with long rows of linear booths from independent tile, setting-material and tool brands; every linear space arrives with the organizer's black back drape. For a focused collection we recommend a 10×20 with one full-height feature wall for a focused collection, and a 20×20 or larger island for room vignettes.

Four things we get right for Coverings exhibitors
1One hero surface per booth
With close to a thousand exhibitors expected and nine miles of tile and stone on the 2026 floor, a booth that gives every finish equal wall area reads as a warehouse. We pick one collection to stop the aisle, a companion range to explain the line and hand samples to close the specification.
2Light porcelain and stone separately
A polished slab and a textured porcelain react differently under the same fixture. We test your production pieces under the exact lamps in the plan, graze textured faces to show relief and keep colored spill off the material, because Coverings buyers compare tone against the sample in their hand.
3Slabs travel by dock, not lobby
Coverings lets exhibitors hand-carry only loads under 300 pounds without carts, through the main entrance, during move-in hours. Full slabs and sample crates therefore ride the North/South docks, so we engineer each easel from your weights and viewing faces and pack padded crates in unloading order.
4Demo where the tours pass
In 2026 the Installation Innovation Stage and NTCA's Contractor Tours, in English and Spanish, steered installers past working demonstrations. If you cut, trowel or set tile live, we build a contained demo bay with dust control, a wash-down plan and space for a tour group to stand without blocking the aisle.

Where you could be at Coverings 2027
Coverings 2027 uses the North and South Buildings of the Orange County Convention Center, the newer half of the campus across International Drive from the West Building.
North Building halls
Part of the North/South complex of six halls (North A1, A2, B and South A1, A2, B) with 950,282 square feet that can open into one floor.
Our advice Your booth letter sets which dock your freight uses; we route crates to the north side when your space is in the North halls.
South Building halls
The southern half of the same complex, with its own docks on the south side and the same OCCC in-house rigging and electrical rules.
Our advice South-side space means a separate truck approach; we book the freight to that side and keep heavy slab crates off the long concourse.
Hilton Orlando bridge
The only hotel connected to the North/South Building, reached by bridge without going outside.
Our advice We put your installers and booth staff here when the block allows, so restocks and early setup need no shuttle.

Logistics for Coverings 2027, handled
Coverings 2027 fills the North and South Buildings at the OCCC, where trucks unload at separate north-side and south-side docks. The building is non-union, so your full-time employees may help assemble within Coverings' limits, but every rigging point and power drop is ordered from the OCCC itself, not from a contractor, and those venue prices rise roughly three weeks before move-in. The Grand Ballroom construction moves truck routes and parking around the North/South Building through 2029. We file as your exhibitor-appointed contractor, build the current detour into the freight plan, and our own project manager runs install and teardown with vetted local labor.

When is Coverings 2027?
Coverings 2027 runs Tuesday, April 6 to Friday, April 9, 2027 in Orlando. The exhibit hall opens 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday. The organizer has already set the next show for April 4–7, 2028.
Where is Coverings 2027 held?
In Orlando, at the OCCC North/South Building on International Drive, with exhibitors spread across the North and South Buildings. The organizer calls 2027 the start of three consecutive Orlando editions, after the 2026 show at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
How much does a 20×20 booth at Coverings cost?
Plan $50,000 to $120,000 for a custom 20×20 island from us, or $16,000 to $40,000 as a rental, covering design, structure, graphics and installation. Slab easels and the weight of sample crates move the number most here. Coverings bills the floor space and the OCCC bills rigging and power separately; 2027 space rates not confirmed yet.
How many people attend Coverings?
Coverings 2025 in Orlando drew nearly 25,000 industry professionals and 1,000 exhibitors from 40 countries on 440,000 net square feet, per the organizer's wrap-up. The 2026 Las Vegas edition counted 750 exhibitors from nearly 40 countries, and the organizer expects about 25,000 professionals in 2027.
Is Coverings open to the public?
Coverings is built for the tile and stone trade, and registration is free for qualified industry professionals who sign up by February 12, 2027. Children under 16 must be with an adult and need a signed waiver, and anyone who is not an exhibitor may not solicit business in the aisles.
Who organizes Coverings?
Coverings is sponsored by Ceramics of Italy, Tile of Spain, the Tile Council of North America, the National Tile Contractors Association and the Ceramic Tile Distributors Association, and in 2026 show management was handled by Taffy Event Strategies. Booth requests go through the Coverings Exhibitor Hub.
How do we get a booth at Coverings 2027?
Submit the Request a Booth form in the Coverings 2027 Exhibitor Hub and the sales team assigns space. Each exhibitor then receives five complimentary booth staff registrations per 100 square feet. Send us the booth number as soon as it is confirmed and we draw to that footprint.
Can we hand-carry our tile samples into the OCCC?
Only small loads. Coverings allows hand-carry through the main entrance during official move-in and move-out hours when the materials weigh under 300 pounds and no carts or dollies are used, and hand-carriers may not use the docks. Slabs, sample crates and display easels go through the dock on the freight schedule.
Can you install our slabs at the Orange County Convention Center?
We install in the North/South Building with our own project manager and vetted local labor, filed as your exhibitor-appointed contractor. Each easel is engineered from your dimensions, weights and viewing faces, heavy pieces are set in unloading order, and we level and light every surface before your team arrives.
Can we rent a booth for Coverings?
We rent full structures, feature walls and sample furniture printed with your graphics, and we often pair a rental frame with one custom hero wall. A 10×20 rental runs $7,500 to $15,000; first-time Coverings exhibitors usually put the savings into lighting the lead collection properly.
When do we need to sign off the Coverings design?
By late January 2027. That leaves 30 to 45 days to build, room to engineer slab easels, and venue rigging and power orders placed while the lower rates hold, and a mid-March ship date. If you enter the CID Awards, the entry deadline comes first: December 3, 2026.
Can we hang a sign over our Coverings booth?
Hanging signs at the OCCC are rigged only by the building's own crews and ordered from the venue, not the show contractor. Coverings' 2027 height and sign rules are not confirmed yet, so we draw the sign early and file the rigging order as soon as the 2027 exhibitor rules and your space are set.
What are the CID Awards and should we enter?
The Coverings Installation & Design Awards honor ceramic tile and stone projects in residential, commercial, artistic and installation categories, for work completed between January 2025 and December 2026. Organizations may enter up to three projects free, due December 3, 2026; winners are recognized at the April show.
Can we reuse the Coverings booth at other shows?
The same tile and stone build adapts to KBIS, TISE and SURFEX, or to Tile Solutions Plus as graphics and a sample counter. We design the hero wall and easels as modules, store them between shows and swap graphics when a new collection launches.
