We build TISE booths where a retailer or distributor walks your floor, handles the plank or slab and talks margins before the next aisle. Mandalay Bay's exhibit floor is one level with docks on the east wall, so heavy sample freight reaches the booth without freight elevators.

What makes TISE different, and how we build for it
TISE is the floor covering, stone and tile marketplace Informa Markets says has served the trade for over 30 years, and it splits its Mandalay Bay floor into two neighborhoods: SURFACES for carpet, hardwood, resilient, laminate, tools and installation products, and STONE for slabs, fabrication and stone care. Around the booths sit working features: The CAGE, where the Stone Fabricators Alliance runs fabrication demos; the STONE Theater from the Natural Stone Institute; Tool Alley; the Start Up District; an Innovation Zone marked new on the 2027 floor; and the National Installer of the Year finals produced with CFI. Retailers and dealers are the largest buyer group, and TISE says a third of its buyers are new.
The biggest group on the floor at 32%. They want to see a line installed at room scale, compare price points and leave with a sample program, display and margin story they can put in a showroom next month.
Distributors (17%) walk TISE to add or drop lines; they look for supply depth, freight terms and a rep who can talk territory, so a quiet meeting table matters more to them than a stage.
Fabricators (11%) and quarriers or importers shop the STONE neighborhood for slabs, tooling and machinery; they judge a slab by touching its edge and finish under good light.

tise introduces the Innovation Zone in 2027, a floor destination for emerging technologies and breakthrough products. A brand with a 2027 launch should ask show management about a presence there, since it is where buyers will go looking for what is new. source

The daily SURFACES Demos and SURFACES Talks are now grouped in the new SURFACES Education District, free with an expo pass. Expo-pass holders come out onto the floor between sessions, so booths near the district see traffic peak around session times. source

The all-new tise Connect+ Pass has the tise team match each pass holder with exhibitors and schedule five meetings before the show. Exhibitors should keep a seated meeting spot free and staff the booth for set appointment times. source
Inside TISE 2027
TISE rules that shape your booth
Promotion, sample and literature distribution must happen within your contracted space unless you bought a sponsorship; flyers in aisles are recycled and staff sent back. We build a front-edge sample bar so every board leaves from inside the booth.
At TISE, exhibitor-appointed contractors may not provide cleaning, catering, electrical, freight handling, rigging, internet, plumbing, security or telecommunications. We build and dismantle as your EAC and order every one of those services through the official channels.
Meetings, events and seminars during show floor hours must be registered with Show Management through the Meeting Space Request Form. When your booth includes a dealer meeting room or a scheduled talk, we flag the form on the project schedule.
No one under 18 may be on the TISE floor during move-in and move-out, even supervised, and strollers are banned during the show. We work to that rule, so family members of your staff wait until doors open.
Informa's exhibit terms for TISE forbid sharing a booth without its written approval, require one of your own staff in the stand at all times, and bar retail sales on the floor. We design co-branded booths only after that consent is on file.

Informa sells TISE space through its booking portal and publishes no rates; floor plans run from inline runs in the SURFACES neighborhood to large islands for the major flooring mills. We recommend a 10×20 for a tool or installation brand, and an island of 20×20 or more once installed floor and wall vignettes are part of the plan.

Four things we get right for TISE exhibitors
1Install the floor, do not frame it
TISE buyers walk on the product before they talk price. We lay your plank, tile or carpet as the booth floor itself in separate zones, with transitions and stair nosing shown, so a dealer at Mandalay Bay feels thickness, texture and sound underfoot.
2Slab walls for the STONE neighborhood
Stone buyers want full slabs at eye level. We build steel A-frames and slab racks sized to your largest format, plan forklift placement before carpet goes down, and light each slab with high-CRI fixtures so veining reads true in a hall lit for flooring.
3Demos near The CAGE crowd
Fabrication demos at The CAGE and SURFACES Demos teach visitors to stop and watch. If you cut, trowel or polish in the booth, we design a contained demo bay with dust collection, splash guards and a viewing rail on the aisle side.
4Samples stay inside the booth line

TISE uses Mandalay Bay's single-level exhibit floor, laid out as two neighborhoods with feature areas between them. These are the areas tise publishes for 2027; booth numbers come from the campus floor plan.
SURFACES neighborhood

Logistics for TISE 2027, handled
TISE fills the single-level exhibit floor of Mandalay Bay Convention Center, where docks run along the east side off Mandalay Bay Road and there are no freight elevators between dock and booth. Freeman Decorating Services is the general contractor, and exhibitor-appointed contractors may not handle freight, electrical, rigging, plumbing or cleaning, which MGM and Freeman keep in-house. Teamsters Local 631 moves material and IATSE Local 720 rigs. We ship slabs and crated floor sections to the Freeman advance warehouse, file the EAC paperwork, and the install is led on the floor by your Purple project manager while our Las Vegas hub, about twenty minutes away, stands by.

When is TISE 2027?
TISE 2027 runs February 1–4, 2027: education sessions start Monday, February 1, and the exhibit hall is open Tuesday, February 2 through Thursday, February 4. Informa has already set the 2028 edition for February 1–3, 2028.
Where is TISE 2027 held?
TISE 2027 fills the Mandalay Bay Convention Center, the MGM resort venue at 3950 South Las Vegas Boulevard. The exhibit floor is one level, divided into the SURFACES neighborhood for flooring, tools and installation, and the STONE neighborhood for slabs, fabrication and stone care.
What are the TISE 2027 exhibit hall hours?
The hall opens 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, February 2 and Wednesday, February 3, with a shorter Thursday, February 4 that ends at 3 p.m. The tise keynote runs at 8 a.m. Wednesday and the Best of tise Awards at 1:45 p.m. that afternoon, so plan staff breaks around them.

For the build, our 10×20 rental runs $7,500 to $15,000 and a 20×20 custom island $50,000 to $120,000; installed flooring and slab racks move the number most.
How do I get a booth at TISE?
Through Informa's 2027 booking portal: first-time exhibitors apply or send the Interested in Exhibiting form, and booth selection runs on priority points earned from years exhibited, booth size and sponsorship spend. Booking for 2027 is open now; send us the booth number as soon as sales assigns it.
Who is the general contractor at TISE?
Freeman Decorating Services, with Freeman AV Solutions for audio-visual and computers. Exhibitor-appointed contractors may not provide cleaning, catering, electrical, freight handling, rigging, internet, plumbing, security or telecommunications at TISE, so we order those from Freeman and MGM for you and handle the build ourselves.
When is move-in for TISE 2027?
Move-in runs January 29 to February 1, 2027, with delivery and build times targeted booth by booth in the Exhibitor Portal. The Exhibitor Service Manual in the same portal holds the rules and shipping details, and we build the labor and freight schedule from your assigned slot.
Can we hand out samples at TISE?
Inside your booth only. tise allows sample and literature distribution within your contracted space, and exhibitors found handing out flyers or leaving literature in aisles are sent back to their booth while staff recycle the materials. Plan a sample bar at the booth edge instead of aisle teams.
Is TISE open to the public?
TISE is a private, trade-only show: attendees must document a direct professional connection to the flooring, stone or tile trade. Children under 18 need a badge, a signed waiver and direct adult supervision during show hours, cannot attend classroom sessions and may not be on the floor during move-in and move-out.
Can we run cutting or installation demos at TISE?
Live demos are part of the floor: SFA runs fabrication demonstrations in The CAGE and the SURFACES Education District hosts daily demos. Drones, hoverboards and other wheeled devices are banned on the floor, so we build your demo as a contained bay with dust collection and splash control that runs all three days.
Where should we stay for TISE?
onPeak is the only hotel provider endorsed by TISE, and the organizer warns about other companies calling or emailing about rooms. Mandalay Bay, Delano and Four Seasons are attached to the venue; Luxor and Excalibur sit one stop away on the free tram and fill quickly while the Builders' Show is also in town.
Is TISE worth exhibiting at?
It is the flooring, tile and stone trade's winter buying event, worth it for brands selling through U.S. retailers, distributors and fabricators. TISE reports that 94% of exhibitors call the event crucial to their success and that exhibitors average $1.2 million in sales in the six months after the show.
