What makes iVT Expo USA different, and how we build for it
iVT Expo USA is a two-day engineering show for the machines that dig, farm, lift and haul, run by UKi Media & Events.One visitor pass opens the hall, the Off-Highway Evolution Conference and the National Fluid Power Association's Advanced Hydraulics Conference, which debuted in 2024. The iVT Live Zone stage on the floor debates autonomy, alternative fuels and digitalization. In 2026 Applied Fluid Power ran a LiDAR-guided vehicle that slowed and stopped for an approaching operator, and Pektron North America launched a 360-degree vision system on the floor. Buyers come to see how hydraulics, electronics and software fit together on one machine.

iVT Expo USA rules that shape your booth
iVT Expo USA is a trade-only event for off-highway vehicle and equipment professionals, closed to the general public, and children under 16 are not admitted. We plan giveaways and demos for engineers, not families.
No exhibits may leave before the expo closes at 4 p.m. on Thursday, and contractors are not let into the hall until then (2026 rules). We schedule trucks and crews for after the close.
UKi sets build days and times in its contractor information document, released closer to the show, and team passes are registered through the exhibitor manual. We work from that document for every freight and labor booking.

UKi's own conference on propulsion, autonomy, HMI, electrification and digitalization, running August 25–26, 2027 next to the expo and included in the visitor pass.

1Mount parts on real iron
OEM engineers at iVT Expo USA want to see where a component lives on the machine. We build a cut-down boom, frame or cab section in our shop, plumb your hydraulics and route the harness the way it would run on a loader or tractor.

The 2026 iVT floor rewarded integration: Applied Fluid Power ran controls, drives, IoT and HMI as one autonomous demo. We design a booth where your component sits inside a working system, with a screen showing the controller data live beside it.

iVT Expo USA runs Wednesday and Thursday only, and the same pass lets visitors leave for the Off-Highway Evolution and NFPA hydraulics sessions. We plan staffing around session breaks, keep the demo cycle under three minutes and put lead capture at the front edge.
4Hall F rules for vehicles
A machine on the floor in Rosemont falls under Illinois fire code, which wants vehicle permits and flame certificates for fabrics. We prepare the fuel and battery paperwork with the show contractor and use certified fabric on every wall in Hall F.

River Road loading docks
Truck docks open directly onto River Road, a short run from the Kennedy and Tri-State; each exhibitor's dock assignment arrives with the show kit.
Our advice Machine sections and vehicles arrive on flatbeds, so we book a dock slot and forklift for each one ahead of booth carpentry.
Main circular drive entrance
The pick-up and drop-off point at 5555 North River Road, with public parking in the William St. Garage and East Parking Garage.
Our advice Laptops, sample cases and spare parts can come by car; everything heavy goes to the docks on a booked target.

Logistics for iVT Expo USA 2027, handled
Hall F trucks leave the Kennedy or the Tri-State and pull straight into River Road docks a few minutes from O'Hare, with no Loop traffic in the way. Because Illinois never passed a right-to-work law, booth carpentry belongs to the show contractor's crews, and any self-install allowance follows the show kit. Questions exhibitors ask us before iVT Expo USA
How much does a booth at iVT Expo USA 2027 cost?
UKi quotes iVT stand space through its sales directors, and no public 2027 rate is published, so the space price is not confirmed yet. For the build, a Purple 10×20 rental runs $7,500 to $15,000 and a custom 20×20 $50,000 to $120,000. A machine section, hydraulic plumbing or a vehicle demo moves the number most.
Is there a deadline to book space at iVT Expo USA 2027?
UKi has not posted a booking or payment deadline for 2027, so that date is not confirmed yet. What we control is our own schedule: design sign-off in mid-June 2027 lets us build in July and ship to the advance warehouse in early August.
Can we rent a booth for iVT Expo USA?
Yes. An iVT rental pairs a reusable frame and fabric graphics with a counter, monitor mounts, flooring and lighting, and we can add a custom-built machine section on top so your component still sits where it belongs. Freight, contractor orders, installation and return travel on one fixed proposal.
Can our own staff set up our booth at the Stephens Center?
Mostly not. Without an Illinois right-to-work law, booth carpentry in Rosemont falls to the show contractor's labor, and any hands-on allowance for your team follows the show kit. Your engineers can still mount, connect and test the product once the booth is up.
Can we bring a vehicle or run hydraulics in our iVT booth?
Vehicles and moving demos have appeared on the floor: in 2026 Applied Fluid Power ran a LiDAR-guided autonomous vehicle on the expo floor. Illinois fire code asks for permits on vehicles, so we file the fuel or battery paperwork with the show contractor, plan the demo envelope and keep hydraulic fluid contained.
What does drayage cost at the Stephens Center and who pays it?
The exhibitor pays, by weight. Purple's venue guide plans $145 per hundredweight, the 2026 rate a Rosemont Exposition Services freight guide for this building set for crated advance-warehouse freight; iVT's own tariff comes with the show kit. That rate bundles warehouse storage, delivery to your booth, the return trip to the dock and reloading. Machine sections are heavy, so drayage is its own proposal line.
Can we reuse our iVT booth at other shows?
Machine sections and component walls travel well to the Motion + Power Technology Expo in Detroit, The Utility Expo in Louisville or Work Truck Week in Indianapolis. We store the kit between shows and change graphics and plumbing for each audience.
Do you handle the show contractor orders for iVT Expo USA?
We do. Once UKi publishes the contractor information document, we book your build times and freight targets, order power, rigging and furniture from the contractor and the venue's providers, and send our insurance certificate naming UKi and the Village of Rosemont. You approve each order total first.
When is iVT Expo USA 2027?
Wednesday and Thursday, August 25–26, 2027. The expo opens 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday, and the Off-Highway Evolution Conference runs on the same two days. The 2026 edition ran August 19–20.
