Las Vegas convention centers and trade show venues

Las Vegas has three buildings with true exhibit halls, the Las Vegas Convention Center, the Venetian Expo and Mandalay Bay, and nine resorts that run expos in ballrooms, most of them carpeted. Nevada is right-to-work, but show labor runs under union agreements, and most resorts keep power, rigging and internet in-house. Ceilings run from 13 ft 5 in in Venetian Hall G to 42 ft in the LVCC West Hall, and at Fontainebleau every crate rides a freight elevator.

Las Vegas convention centers and trade show venues

Las Vegas has three exhibit buildings with real halls, the LVCC, the Venetian Expo and Mandalay Bay, and a row of resorts whose expos run in ballrooms on carpet. The difference decides your booth more than the address does: ceiling height, whether freight rides an elevator, and which in-house services you must order. These are the twelve guides we have, side by side.

The calendar

Shows at Las Vegas venues, 2026–2027

The calendar below collects the dated shows from all twelve Las Vegas guides, from SEMA and AAPEX this November through the 2027 season. Many big shows use two buildings at once: CES fills the LVCC and the Venetian Expo, SHOT Show runs at the Venetian and Caesars Forum, and resorts near the LVCC sell CES suites. Dates are from each organizer; confirm your hall or ballroom in the exhibitor kit.

Every Las Vegas trade show for 2027, with booth options: see our Las Vegas show pages →

Dates are copied from each venue guide's calendar (organizer and venue sites, checked October 2026); only shows ending on or after October 29, 2026 are listed. Confirm dates, halls and the general contractor with each organizer. More notes on other recurring shows are in the LVCC, Venetian Expo, Mandalay Bay, Caesars Forum, Caesars Palace, Paris, MGM Grand, ARIA, Wynn, Resorts World, Fontainebleau, Westgate guides.

Busy seasons

When Las Vegas is busiest for trade shows

Counting the dated shows above by the month they open, March 2027 is the busiest month in our listings, with 12 shows starting, ahead of January 2027 with 9. Plan freight and hotel rooms early for those weeks.

January and February are the busiest weeks of the Las Vegas year, according to our LVCC guide, and labor and hotels are tightest then. CES opens 2027 across every LVCC hall and the Venetian Expo, with Eureka Park in Hall G, C Space at ARIA, CES Foundry at Fontainebleau and hospitality suites at Resorts World and Westgate. World of Concrete follows at the LVCC, then SHOT Show at the Venetian and Caesars Forum, Affiliate Summit West at the Forum, the NGA Show at MGM Grand and Design & Construction Week, back at the LVCC in February 2027.

Spring brings the broadcast and security shows. NAB Show uses the LVCC West, Central and North halls in April, the same week ISC West runs at the Venetian Expo, and Amusement Expo takes North Hall in March with Resorts World as headquarters hotel. CinemaCon has met at Caesars Palace every spring since 2011. Mandalay Bay carries Shoptalk Spring, Licensing Expo, Cisco Live and Cosmoprof North America from March to July, while June is jewelry month: JCK at the Venetian and COUTURE at Wynn. ConExpo-Con/Agg, the largest use of the LVCC, next returns in 2029.

October is the second-busiest stretch, per the LVCC guide. SupplySide Global fills Mandalay Bay in late October, then SEMA takes every LVCC hall and its outdoor lots in the first week of November while AAPEX runs at the Venetian Expo. DevLearn is at MGM Grand that week and Thomson Reuters SYNERGY at Fontainebleau later in the month. IMEX America is contracted to Mandalay Bay through 2030, and Money20/20 USA has announced a move to the LVCC for October 2027. Shows close to the Las Vegas Grand Prix in mid-to-late November face Strip and Koval Lane closures.

Planning guide

Exhibiting in Las Vegas: what to plan for

Teamsters Local 631 handles freight and booth labor through the general contractor, but at most venues your own full-time staff with company ID can still build the booth. The sections below pull together what our 12 Las Vegas venue guides say about labor, freight, move-in, travel and hotels, venue by venue, with a link to the guide each fact comes from.

Labor & union rules

Las Vegas union labor and booth setup rules by venue

Nevada is a right-to-work state, but every Las Vegas guide says the same thing about the show floor: labor runs under the general contractor's union agreements. Teamsters Local 631 unloads trucks, drives forklifts, handles empties and builds booths that your own staff do not build. Electricians handle power beyond a basic outlet, and stagehands (IATSE Local 720 in several guides) take AV and programmable lighting. The resorts add their own exclusives on top, usually Encore for AV and rigging. The good news: at most venues, full-time employees with company ID such as a payroll stub may set up and dismantle their own booth. Agency temps do not count. Paris Las Vegas is the exception in our guides: an LVE kit there let staff set only small pop-ups.

Las Vegas Convention Center

Union (Teamsters 631)

Who builds: Teamsters Local 631 handles unloading, forklifts and booth labor not done by your staff. The general contractor (Freeman at CES and NAB) runs material handling, electrical, rigging and cleaning; Cox Business is exclusive for internet.

Your own staff: Full-time staff with company ID may install and dismantle. Under NAB 2025 Freeman rules exhibitors could not use ladders; SEMA 2026 allowed drills and screwdrivers but no saws.

Venetian Expo

Union · venue exclusives

Who builds: The Venetian Expo is exclusive for electrical, rigging, internet and telecom, plumbing, cleaning and catering. Teamsters Local 631 handles unloading, forklifts, empties and booth labor through the general contractor.

Your own staff: GES work rules for CinemaCon 2025 let full-time employees with company ID set up and dismantle and hang four clip-on lights. Hand-carry with no carts.

Caesars Palace guide →

Paris Las Vegas

Union · staff pop-ups only

Who builds: Teamsters handle all freight, empty crates and forklifts, and union exhibit labor builds hard-wall exhibits, flooring and hanging signs. Encore is exclusive for power, AV, internet and expo-floor labor, done by IATSE Local 720 members.

Your own staff: LVE's 2026 kit let full-time staff with company ID set only 10 × 10 and 10 × 20 pop-ups, with no hard walls. Hand-carry is one person, one trip, no carts.

Paris Las Vegas guide →

MGM Grand Conference Center

Union · check kit

Who builds: Teamsters Local 631 holds installation under contractor agreements, and all material handling equipment is union. Edlen supplies electrical through MGM Exhibitor Services, Encore does AV and rigging, and MGM runs internet, cleaning and catering.

Las Vegas drayage rates and show budget estimator

Drayage, the charge to move your freight from the dock or warehouse to the booth and back, is billed by the general contractor, not the venue. None of the Las Vegas venues publishes a rate, so the figures on this page are Purple planning rates per hundredweight, from about $165 at Paris Las Vegas and $170 at Caesars Palace and Resorts World to about $195 at the Venetian Expo and Caesars Forum. They are not tariffs. The published references in our guides are CES 2027, which bills a flat $0.71 per pound in the LVCC and Venetian exhibit halls and $1.16 in Venetian meeting rooms and suites, and LVE's 2026 kit for a show at Paris, at $126 per hundredweight. Your show kit has the real number.

How these planning numbers work

  • Shipping weight, drayage and labor assumptions load with the estimator.

All drayage numbers are Purple planning estimates per hundredweight (100 lbs), not quotes or published tariffs. The general contractor for your show publishes the actual material-handling rates in the exhibitor kit. See all venues on the drayage rates page.

Freight

Shipping and advance warehouse basics for Las Vegas shows

In Las Vegas the advance warehouse is the safe default. Several resorts refuse freight before move-in or turn away shipments addressed to a booth, and direct trucks wait at off-site marshaling yards for a target time. The other city-wide habits: label freight with the right building, because shows split across venues and two of them carry the Caesars name, and size crates to the freight elevators at the resorts that have them.

  • Ship to the advance warehouseCaesars Palace does not accept or store exhibit shipments before the show, and Paris Las Vegas will not accept and store advance shipments either. A November 2025 GES show at MGM Grand allowed no direct shipments, GES-run shows at the Westgate have refused them, and Fontainebleau's FedEx center will not take freight consigned to a booth.

From our Caesars Palace, Paris Las Vegas, MGM Grand Conference Center, Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino and Fontainebleau Las Vegas guides

  • Direct trucks start at a yardDirect freight checks in at the contractor's marshaling yard and is called to the dock by target time. For AAPEX 2026 that was the Freeman yard at 6555 West Serene Avenue; for IMEX America 2026, the GES yard at 2982 West Post Road. Fontainebleau has no yard, only booked dock slots.

From our Venetian Expo, Mandalay Bay Convention Center, Las Vegas Convention Center and Fontainebleau Las Vegas guides

  • Name the right Caesars buildingCaesars Forum is at 3911 Koval Lane behind the LINQ; Caesars Palace is at 3570 Las Vegas Blvd South across the Strip, with its own docks. Older kits that just say Caesars usually mean the Palace. Paris, another Caesars venue, connects indoors to Horseshoe, not to the Forum. Put the facility and ballroom on every label.

From our Caesars Forum, Caesars Palace and Paris Las Vegas guides

  • Crate to the freight elevatorAt Fontainebleau a crate face under 8 ft 6 in wide and 12 ft high fits every freight car and ballroom door. Resorts World caps pallets and deliveries at 80 inches high, and a 2023 GES kit at MGM Grand capped containers at 9 ft 6 in high.

From our Fontainebleau Las Vegas, Resorts World Las Vegas, MGM Grand Conference Center and Venetian Expo guides

  • Split shows, two buildingsAAPEX runs at the Venetian Expo the same week SEMA fills the LVCC, CES uses both buildings, and SHOT Show spreads from the Venetian into Caesars Forum. Each building has its own dock and schedule, so plan freight for each one separately.

From our Venetian Expo, Las Vegas Convention Center and Caesars Forum guides

  • Small boxes through FedExMGM Grand has a FedEx Office in the Grand Ballroom lobby and the Westgate one just past Ballroom A; both charge handling fees and do not move crates. CES suites at Resorts World took at most five 50 lb boxes each through the FedEx business center.

Move-in & move-out

Loading docks, move-in traffic and dock tips in Las Vegas

Freight access varies more in Las Vegas than anywhere else on our list. The LVCC numbers its docks building by building, the Venetian and Mandalay Bay take trucks straight to the exhibit floor, and the resorts load through shared hotel docks on Koval Lane, Frank Sinatra Drive or Paradise Road. Book dock times where the venue requires it, and protect the carpet in every ballroom.

LVCC

Numbered docks for each hall

The LVCVA freight map numbers docks 1–24 around Central and North, 26–35 and 40–42 on South Level 1, 43–52 on South Level 2 and W401–W416 at the West Hall. The general contractor assigns yours, and empties need EMPTY labels.

From our Las Vegas Convention Center guide

Venetian Expo

Drive-in doors upstairs

Halls A, B and C on Level 2 each list a 50 × 20 ft drive-in door and Hall D a 19 ft 11 in × 16 ft door. Ballroom and suite freight rides elevators as small as 7 ft 5 in × 5 ft 5 in.

From our Venetian Expo guide

Mandalay Bay

One level, no dollies

Freight goes from the dock to the Bayside halls without elevators. At IMEX 2026, hand-carry was allowed only in designated areas with no carts or dollies, and storing crates in the booth was prohibited.

From our Mandalay Bay Convention Center guide

Caesars Forum

Koval Lane, carpet floors

The Forum is on one level with no freight elevators, but forklifts stay at the dock and freight crosses the carpet on pallet jacks and dollies. Koval Lane has little room to wait, and it is part of the Grand Prix circuit.

From our Caesars Forum guide

Caesars Palace

Two docks, 2011 hours

The hotel's 2011 expo policies list a Convention Loading Dock with two bays and a drive-in ramp, plus the Main Loading Dock shared with the hotel. Trucks must be manned, with no overnight parking on property.

From our Caesars Palace guide

Paris

One dock behind the ballroom

Caesars' map shows one loading dock on the back wall of the Paris Ballroom, at the C end of all three sections. A 2025 kit lists dock times from 3 a.m. to 2 p.m. on weekdays. Paris lends no forklifts, lifts, tools or ladders.

From our Paris Las Vegas guide

MGM Grand

4701 Koval Lane docks

MGM lists two separate loading docks for the conference center, and recent shows used 4701 Koval Lane as the freight address. Hand-carriers use the hand-carry or main entrance, never the dock; the decorator unloads cars at a POV area.

From our MGM Grand Conference Center guide

ARIA

Ramp to Bristlecone

Two docks sit beside the Bristlecone Ballroom, with a vehicle ramp to its 18 × 14 ft freight door; Pinyon's door is 10 × 14 ft. The 2018 wing has its own dock and a freight elevator big enough for a full-size SUV.

From our ARIA Convention Center guide

Wynn

Two dock areas

The resort map shows a loading dock and staging area behind the Cristal Ballroom, reached by a truck ramp, and separate dock doors near Lafite and Latour. Trucks dispatch from an off-site marshaling yard; put the ballroom on the bill of lading.

From our Wynn Las Vegas and Encore guide

Resorts World

Booked slots, two hours

Every delivery is booked through Catering and Conference Services with the driver's name sent ahead. Only commercial vehicles may use the docks, each gets up to two hours, and nothing may be stored on the dock.

From our Resorts World Las Vegas guide

Fontainebleau

Six bays, by appointment

Six shared bays off Elvis Presley Boulevard via Paradise Road take trailers up to 53 ft, booked online in blocks of up to four hours. There is no truck staging on the property, and booking a dock does not reserve an elevator.

From our Fontainebleau Las Vegas guide

Westgate

The Ballroom loading dock

Where trucks are allowed, they unload at the Ballroom loading dock, never through valet. Some shows let full-time staff unload their own vehicle with hand trucks and flat carts; others route everything through the contractor.

Getting there

Getting to Las Vegas's convention venues

Harry Reid International (LAS) is about 3 to 5 miles from every venue in our guides, with Mandalay Bay closest. Between venues, the Las Vegas Monorail runs from MGM Grand to the LVCC and Westgate, and the Vegas Loop links the LVCC halls to Resorts World, Westgate, Encore and Fontainebleau. Mandalay Bay and ARIA rely on their own free trams.

Where to stay

Hotels for Las Vegas trade shows

Most Las Vegas venues are their own headquarters hotel. The Venetian Expo sits under more than 7,000 suites, Mandalay Bay has three attached hotels, and the ballroom resorts each put thousands of rooms above the expo. The LVCC has no attached hotel but connects to Westgate by skywalk. Crews usually stay a tram or Monorail stop away, at Luxor, Excalibur, Harrah's or the LINQ, because resort rates climb in big show weeks.

Choosing a venue

Which Las Vegas venue is right for my show?

Short answers drawn from our venue guides. Your show's organizer picks the venue; these help you plan the booth for it.

A citywide show that needs the biggest halls in town

The Las Vegas Convention Center lists over 2.5 million sq ft of exhibit space in four halls on a 200-acre campus. Ceilings run from 25 ft in Central C1–C2 and most of South to 42 ft in the West Hall, and the upper South halls carry 300 lbs per sq ft instead of 450 on the ground. The Vegas Loop links the halls for free between campus stations.

One huge exhibit floor without freight elevators

Mandalay Bay has more than 900,000 sq ft of contiguous exhibit space on one level in the Bayside halls, so freight rolls from the dock to the booth, with 4,700+ rooms attached. It sits at the airport end of the Strip, about 20 minutes by car from the LVCC in a normal week and much longer in Formula 1 week in November. Its hand-carry rule is the strictest in town: IMEX America 2026 allowed no carts or dollies.

A Venetian Expo show: which level is my hall on?

The tall halls are upstairs. Halls A to D on Level 2 have ceilings of about 32 ft and drive-in truck doors; Hall G on Level 1 is 380,000 sq ft under a 13 ft 5 in ceiling with no hanging signs. The venue is the exclusive provider of electrical, rigging, internet, plumbing, cleaning and catering, and Freeman's rules for G2E 2025 there let full-time company staff set up and dismantle.

Caesars Forum or Caesars Palace?

They are two buildings with two addresses and two docks. Caesars Forum, at 3911 Koval Lane behind the LINQ, is a 550,000 sq ft conference center on one level with two pillarless 110,000 sq ft ballrooms, so there is no freight elevator, but the floor is carpet: expect pallet jacks and dollies, not forklifts. Caesars Palace runs expos in carpeted ballrooms such as the 50,944 sq ft Julius and Octavius, and does not accept or store exhibit shipments before the show.

A mid-size expo in a big resort ballroom

Wynn's Cristal Ballroom is 83,187 pillarless sq ft under a 28 ft ceiling, with up to 336 10×10 booths on the venue's chart. MGM Grand puts shows in the 92,000 sq ft Marquee Ballroom on Level 1, with power and rigging access built into the floor and a 27 ft ceiling listed. ARIA's expos fill the Bristlecone (about 51,500 sq ft) and Pinyon (about 38,300 sq ft) ballrooms, opposite each other on Level 1 with 24 ft ceilings.

A show next to the LVCC, in a resort

Westgate is next door to the LVCC, about a five-minute walk, with 225,000 sq ft of event space led by the 70,000 sq ft Paradise Event Center (24 ft 9 in); GES-run shows there have refused all direct shipments. Resorts World's Loop station reaches the LVCC halls in 2 to 5 minutes, and its pillarless, carpeted Complex is 70,000 sq ft with a 24 ft ceiling. Fontainebleau sits beside the West Hall, but every booth rides one of six freight elevators to a ballroom on Level 4 or 6, led by the 105,264 sq ft Royal Ballroom; an 8 ft 6 in × 12 ft crate face fits every car.

Who may build the booth?

Nevada is right-to-work, but Las Vegas show labor runs under union agreements with the general contractor, with Teamsters Local 631 on freight and booth labor. Your own full-time staff can still build the booth at the LVCC, and at the Venetian Expo, Wynn and MGM Grand recent kits let full-time employees with company ID set up and dismantle. Electrical, rigging and AV are in-house or exclusive at most of these venues, so check your show kit before you plan the crew.

FAQ

Las Vegas trade show FAQ for exhibitors

Answers from our Las Vegas venue guides. Each answer links the guide it comes from.

What are the main convention centers in Las Vegas?

Three buildings have real exhibit halls: the Las Vegas Convention Center on Paradise Road, the Venetian Expo (the former Sands Expo) and the Mandalay Bay Convention Center at the south end of the Strip. Nine more venues in our guides run expos in ballrooms: Caesars Forum, Caesars Palace, Paris Las Vegas, MGM Grand, ARIA, Wynn, Resorts World, Fontainebleau and Westgate. The ballroom venues are mostly carpeted, which changes flooring, lifts and freight handling.

From our Las Vegas Convention Center, Venetian Expo, Mandalay Bay Convention Center, Caesars Forum and Paris Las Vegas guides

What is the biggest convention center in Las Vegas?

The Las Vegas Convention Center. The LVCVA lists over 2.5 million sq ft of exhibit space in a 4.6 million sq ft building, split into the West, Central, North and South halls on a 200-acre campus. Central Hall alone is 623,058 sq ft. The Venetian Expo is next, at up to 1.035 million sq ft combined, and Mandalay Bay has more than 900,000 sq ft of contiguous halls on one level.

From our Las Vegas Convention Center, Venetian Expo and Mandalay Bay Convention Center guides

Is Las Vegas union for trade shows?

Yes, for show labor. Nevada is a right-to-work state, but at every venue in our guides the work runs under the general contractor's union agreements. Teamsters Local 631 handles truck unloading, forklifts, empty crates and booth labor not done by your own staff. Electricians and stagehands cover power, lighting and AV. Most resorts also keep electrical, internet and rigging with an in-house provider such as Encore or Edlen.

Can I set up my own booth in Las Vegas?

At most venues, yes, if the people building it are your full-time employees carrying company ID such as a payroll stub. Recent kits allow it at the LVCC, the Venetian Expo, Mandalay Bay, Caesars Palace, MGM Grand, Wynn and Fontainebleau. Tool and ladder rules vary: NAB 2025 at the LVCC banned exhibitor ladders, while MGM Grand's 2025 manual allowed power tools. At Paris Las Vegas, LVE's 2026 kit allowed only 10 × 10 and 10 × 20 pop-ups. Agency temps never count as staff.

How much does drayage cost in Las Vegas?

Our planning rates run from about $165 per hundredweight at Paris Las Vegas and $170 at Caesars Palace and Resorts World to about $195 at the Venetian Expo and Caesars Forum, with the LVCC, Mandalay Bay, ARIA, Wynn and Fontainebleau at about $185. These are Purple planning numbers, not published tariffs. CES 2027 publishes its own: a flat $0.71 per pound in the LVCC and Venetian halls and $1.16 in Venetian suites and meeting rooms. LVE's 2026 kit for a show at Paris listed $126 per hundredweight.

From our Las Vegas Convention Center, Venetian Expo, Caesars Forum, Caesars Palace, Resorts World Las Vegas and Paris Las Vegas guides

Should I ship to the advance warehouse or direct to the show in Las Vegas?

Use the advance warehouse unless your kit says otherwise. Caesars Palace and Paris Las Vegas will not accept exhibit freight before the show, a 2025 GES show at MGM Grand banned direct shipments, and GES shows at the Westgate have refused them. Direct trucks at the LVCC, the Venetian and Mandalay Bay check in at a marshaling yard and can wait hours for their target time. At Fontainebleau there is no yard, only booked dock slots.

When are the biggest Las Vegas trade shows?

January and February are the busiest, when CES, World of Concrete, SHOT Show and Design & Construction Week run within a few weeks of each other, and labor and hotels are tightest. October and early November come next, with SupplySide Global at Mandalay Bay, then SEMA at the LVCC and AAPEX at the Venetian. Spring carries NAB Show, ISC West, CinemaCon and JCK.

From our Las Vegas Convention Center, Venetian Expo, Mandalay Bay Convention Center and Caesars Palace guides

Which hotels are connected to Las Vegas convention venues?

The Venetian and Palazzo put more than 7,000 suites above the Venetian Expo. Mandalay Bay, Delano and Four Seasons are attached to the Mandalay Bay Convention Center. Westgate links to the LVCC North Hall by skywalk, and the ballroom resorts, including Caesars Palace, Paris, MGM Grand, ARIA, Wynn and Encore, Resorts World and Fontainebleau, have their rooms in the same building as the expo. Paris also connects indoors to Horseshoe.

From our Venetian Expo, Mandalay Bay Convention Center, Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino, Fontainebleau Las Vegas and Paris Las Vegas guides

How far is the Las Vegas airport from the convention venues?

Harry Reid International (LAS) is about 3 to 5 miles from every venue in our guides. Mandalay Bay is the closest, about 10 minutes by car. The LVCC is about 3.5 miles away, Caesars Forum about 3 miles, the Venetian Expo about 4 miles and Wynn about 5 miles, or 10 to 20 minutes depending on traffic. Allow longer in CES week.

From our Mandalay Bay Convention Center, Las Vegas Convention Center, Caesars Forum, Venetian Expo and Wynn Las Vegas and Encore guides

Which Las Vegas venue suits a small or mid-size expo?

The resort ballrooms. Wynn's Cristal Ballroom is 83,187 pillarless sq ft under 28 ft, with up to 336 10×10 booths on the venue's chart. MGM Grand's Marquee Ballroom is 92,000 sq ft, the Paris Ballroom 85,204 sq ft under 30–34 ft, ARIA's Bristlecone about 51,500 sq ft, Resorts World's Complex 70,000 sq ft and Westgate's Paradise Event Center 70,000 sq ft. Check ceilings: Caesars Palace's Milano Ballroom is listed at only 17 ft.

What should I know about move-in and parking in Las Vegas?

Book dock time where the venue asks: Resorts World gives each truck up to two hours, and Fontainebleau books slots online with no truck staging on property. The LVCC lists more than 5,000 parking spaces, but exhibitor lots vary by show. The Las Vegas Grand Prix runs around November 19–21 in 2026, and Koval Lane, behind Caesars Forum, is part of the circuit, so ship early near race week.

From our Resorts World Las Vegas, Fontainebleau Las Vegas, Las Vegas Convention Center, Caesars Forum and Mandalay Bay Convention Center guides

How do I get between the LVCC and the Strip venues?

The Vegas Loop is free between the LVCC's campus stations and ticketed to resort stations such as Resorts World, Westgate and Encore. Resorts World's ride takes 2 to 5 minutes. The Monorail links the LVCC to Westgate, Harrah's/LINQ (next to Caesars Forum) and MGM Grand. Mandalay Bay has no Monorail stop, so plan about 20 minutes by car in a normal week.
