An ADCES 2027 booth in Denver where educators can train on your device
The specialists at ADCES teach patients to use CGMs, pumps and pens every week, so we build elbow-height training stations with real hardware, mirrored apps and locked device storage. At the Colorado Convention Center we file SPARGO's outside contractor authorization at least 30 days before exhibits open.
- Aug 6–9 · Colorado Conv. Ctr
- Hall open Aug 6–8
- 8 unopposed exhibit hours
What makes ADCES different, and how we build for it
ADCES27 is the annual meeting of the Association of Diabetes Care & Education Specialists, and its hall is built around teaching: Education Theater sessions, Learning Labs, Daytime Corporate Symposia and the Center Stage all run alongside the booths, and ADCES schedules unopposed exhibit blocks on every hall day. The people walking the aisles train patients on CGMs, pumps and pens every week, so they want to hold the device, run the app and see the reimbursement story. Business Suites handle the private follow-up away from the aisle.
Hands-on time with sensors, pumps, pens and apps, teaching materials they can use with patients, and a rep who knows onboarding and troubleshooting.
Clear clinical and formulary information, coverage and access details, and a quiet spot to talk through a specific patient population.
Nutrition products, digital coaching and DSMES program tools shown with outcome data, plus a way to start a pilot or partnership after the show.

Inside ADCES 2027
Rules that shape your booth
No booth structure or hanging sign may rise more than 25 feet from the exhibit hall floor or block the view of ADCES signs (ADCES27 rules). We draw island towers and hanging signs under that line and site them away from show signage.
Sharps, blood, body fluids and contaminated items must be handled by a licensed medical waste transporter under OSHA and EPA guidelines (ADCES27 rules). We build closed sharps containers into the demo counters and book the pickup with your order.
Food and beverage samples must be products your company makes, processes and distributes, and need a signed Sample Authorization Form; Sodexo Live! is the building's exclusive caterer (ADCES27 rules). We add a lockable sample cabinet and file the form.
An exhibitor-appointed contractor needs written authorization from SPARGO at least 30 days before exhibits open, and outside contractors must carry liability and workers' compensation insurance certificates (ADCES27 rules). We send both early.
ADCES bars meeting-related advertising within 5 miles of the convention center, airports included, unless it runs through SPARGO, and no one under 18 may enter the floor (ADCES27 rules). We point all promotion back to your booth graphics instead.
Programs worth planning for
Hard-walled meeting rooms with a lockable door, carpet and an ID sign, open only to ADCES27 exhibitors, from 10×10 at $59.50 per square foot in 2027, first-come, first-served.
45-minute promotional, non-CE sessions in the theaters on the exhibit floor, $72,000 each for ADCES27; Learning Labs, constructed rooms in the hall, cost $45,000 and can be bundled with them.
A 20-minute didactic session with Q&A on the exhibit floor, $6,500 for ADCES27, held in the center of the exhibit hall.
A $500 poster display for commercial companies showing research, products or technology to ADCES27 attendees, a low-cost way to back your booth demo with data.
ADCES is the U.S. meeting for the specialists who teach patients to use diabetes devices; choose it over ADA Scientific Sessions when your buyer is the educator, dietitian or pharmacist who onboards patients, not the endocrinology researcher. Compare every medical devices show we build for →

02 Booths & pricing for ADCES 2027
Popular booth sizes at ADCES
ADCES sells inline space at $39 and island space at $45 per square foot for 2027, adds $300 per open inline corner, and rents hard-walled Business Suites from 10×10. We recommend a 10×20 with two demo counters for a single device or app, and a 20×20 island with training stations and a meeting table for a product family.

Two demo counters so a CGM or pump walkthrough and an app demo can run at once, with a lockable cabinet for devices and samples.

Case study · Pixee Medical
Pixee Medical at a medical technology congress
A focused, demo-first booth for augmented-reality surgical guidance, built so every visitor could try the technology while traffic kept moving.
Pixee Medical built its booth so every visitor could try AR surgical guidance; ADCES educators judge a pump, pen or CGM the same way, by holding it and running the app.

04 Designing for diabetes technology, pharma and nutrition brands at ADCES
Four things we get right for ADCES exhibitors
1Build the booth around training stations
DCES attendees teach devices for a living, and ADCES gives them 8 unopposed hours to try yours. Give them a counter at elbow height, real hardware, a screen mirroring the app and room for two people beside the rep. We plan power, data and secure device storage into every station.
Plan for sharps and sampling rules
ADCES requires biohazardous waste, including sharps, to go out through a licensed medical waste transporter, and food samples need a Sample Authorization Form under the Sodexo Live! policy. We build sharps containers, hand-wash points and sample storage into the furniture, not on the floor.
Make the unopposed hours count
On Saturday alone ADCES27 sets three unopposed blocks, the last from 3 to 4 p.m., and traffic arrives in waves between them. Design an open front where ten people can watch one demo, with a scan point for leads, and a back counter that keeps working during quiet periods.
Give follow-up a private place
Coverage, pricing and partnership talks need a closed door. An ADCES Business Suite on the floor, $59.50 per square foot with a lockable door in 2027, or a meeting room inside your island keeps those conversations away from the aisle while staying close to the demo team.

Logistics for ADCES 2027, handled
The Colorado Convention Center runs its exhibit halls on one level, and labor follows the Colorado Labor Peace Act: your own full-time staff can handle a setup that needs no tools and under 60 minutes, and IATSE Local No. 7 or the official contractor does anything bigger. SPARGO manages the exhibits, and exhibitor-appointed contractors need its written authorization 30 days before exhibits open; the ADCES27 service contractor and order forms are not confirmed yet. The connected Hyatt Regency Denver puts your team steps from the hall. We send SPARGO the EAC request, order carpet and power from the official contractor once its manual is out, route crates through the advance warehouse, and our project manager runs the Denver install with hired local labor.
Hall rules, drayage estimates and freight deadlines for this building are in our Colorado Convention Center exhibitor guide.
Hall guide
The Colorado Convention Center puts all its exhibit space on one level, with ballrooms and meeting rooms around it. These are the spaces this building uses and what they mean for an ADCES booth.
584,000 square feet of contiguous exhibit space on one level, six halls that combine in different configurations.
Our advice: Everything rolls in at floor level, and ADCES allows structures and hanging signs up to 25 feet, so a 20×20 can carry a sign that reads across the hall.
Hard-walled rooms with a lockable door, carpet and an ID sign that ADCES rents only to ADCES27 exhibitors, from 10×10, first-come, first-served.
Our advice: Book one if your booth is inline; on an island we can build a closed room instead and keep meetings beside your demo team.
The Bluebird, Mile High and Four Seasons ballrooms, the 5,000-seat Bellco Theatre and 63 meeting rooms on one level, per the venue.
Our advice: If you run a symposium here, we match its graphics to the booth so attendees recognise you when they walk back into the hall.

ADCES exhibitor questions
Questions exhibitors ask us before ADCES
How much does a booth at ADCES 2027 cost?
A 10×20 rental runs $7,500 to $15,000, and a custom 20×20 island runs $50,000 to $120,000. At ADCES the number moves with how many training stations, screens and powered device counters you need, and whether you want a closed meeting room. Space is billed by ADCES at $39 per square foot inline for 2027, and show services by the official service contractor.
What is the deadline to pay for ADCES 2027 booth space?
ADCES requires booth space paid in full by April 9, 2027. Applications after October 8, 2026 carry a 50% deposit, and anything submitted after April 8, 2027 is due in full with the application. Cancel after April 8 and you owe the whole space fee, so we like to have your footprint set and design underway by then.
Can we rent a booth for ADCES, and what does a rental include?
Yes. The ADCES inline package is just drape, 8 feet high behind and 3 feet at the sides, with an 11×17 two-line sign; carpet, furniture and electrical cost extra. Our rental adds the structure, printed graphics, lighting, demo counters and lockable device storage, shipped, installed and dismantled, with custom fixtures you can keep for the next show.
Can we set up our own booth at the Colorado Convention Center?
Only if one full-time employee can finish in under 60 minutes without mechanized tools, under the building's Colorado Labor Peace Act rules. Anything larger goes to IATSE Local No. 7 or the official contractor. If you use an outside contractor like Purple, SPARGO needs written authorization at least 30 days before exhibits open, and we file it.
What are the ADCES rules for booth height, sampling and sharps?
No structure or hanging sign may top 25 feet from the hall floor or block ADCES signs. Food and beverage samples must be your own products and need a Sample Authorization Form under Sodexo Live! rules. Sharps and other biohazardous waste leave through a licensed medical waste transporter, so we build containers into the counters.
What does drayage cost at ADCES and who pays it?
You do, through the official service contractor, which ADCES has not named for 2027. For the Colorado Convention Center we plan on roughly $160 per cwt in 2026–2027, with a minimum charge of 200 pounds per shipment. A device-demo booth is mostly counters, screens and graphics, so we keep crates light, place your show-service orders and price the Denver material handling up front in our quote.
Can we reuse our ADCES booth at other clinical shows?
The same training stations and graphics work at ADA Scientific Sessions in Washington, the AANP National Conference in New Orleans and AACN NTI in Indianapolis. Between meetings the kit sits in our storage, and we swap the graphics per audience before sending it on to that show's warehouse.
Should we book an ADCES Business Suite or build a meeting room in the booth?
A Business Suite on the floor gives you a private room without spending island space, which suits inline exhibitors and teams with many scheduled meetings. On a 20×20 or larger, a closed room inside the booth keeps coverage and partnership talks next to your demo team. We plan both and show the cost difference.
When is ADCES 2027?
ADCES27, the 2027 ADCES Annual Conference & Exhibition, runs Friday, August 6 to Monday, August 9, 2027 in Denver. The exhibits are open only on the first three days, Friday through Sunday, so the final Monday is education sessions without the hall.
When is the exhibit hall open at ADCES 2027?
August 6–8, 2027: Friday 9:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Saturday 8:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday 8:45 a.m. to 2 p.m. Unopposed periods fall at 9:30 a.m. and midday on Friday, three times on Saturday and twice on Sunday, which is where ADCES puts its 8 unopposed hours.
Where is ADCES 2027 held?
At the Colorado Convention Center, 700 14th Street in downtown Denver, named in the ADCES27 Exhibitor Rules and Regulations. The 2026 meeting was in Columbus, Ohio, and the 2023 meeting in Houston. The Hyatt Regency Denver connects to the building; the ADCES27 housing block is not confirmed yet.
How many people attend ADCES?
ADCES tells exhibitors that more than 2,500 diabetes care and education specialists and medical professionals attend. Its most recent published exhibitor count is from ADCES23 in Houston: more than 150 exhibitors and 124 education sessions. Past attendee surveys show 87% recommend or write prescriptions.
Is ADCES open to the public?
No. Admission to the exhibit area is by badge only, and ADCES bars anyone under 18 from the exhibit floor. Exhibitors get four complimentary personnel badges per 100 square feet, valid for the hall only; staff who want CE or CME credit buy a full conference registration.
Who organizes ADCES, and how do we get a booth?
The Association of Diabetes Care & Education Specialists runs the meeting, and SPARGO, Inc. sells and manages the exhibits. Exhibiting is limited to makers and suppliers of products and services used in diabetes care and education. You apply on the ADCES27 Reserve a Booth page and ADCES assigns the space.
Before you sign with anyone
Five questions to ask any exhibit builder for ADCES:
- Is every fee on the proposal, including what the show contractor bills?
- Who builds the booth: your own shop or a subcontractor?
- Will your project manager be on the floor for install and dismantle?
- What exactly is in the rental, and what is billed by the show?
- Where does the booth go after the show, and what does storage cost?
Common situations
Already own a booth? We refresh the graphics, repair what is worn, ship it, install it and store it between shows. You keep the structure you paid for.
Exhibiting from outside the US? We are your team on the ground: freight to the advance warehouse, show-service orders, installation and storage, with one project manager answering your emails in your time zone.
Short on time? A rental with your graphics can be ready in two to three weeks. We tell you on the first call what is realistic for your date.
