What makes America's Beauty Show different, and how we build for it

America's Beauty Show is the 104th Midwest Beauty Show, produced by Cosmetologists Chicago and built for people who work with their hands. The floor runs on live artistry: the Runway Stage and Barbershop Stage draw crowds all day, Nail Universe and the Health & Wellness area group specialist buyers, the International Pavilion brings overseas brands to Rosemont, the Value Center pulls bargain hunters, and the Global Image Awards put finished looks on stage. With 400+ brands and 300+ education classes in one building, stylists move fast between classrooms and aisles. A booth here needs a demonstration people can see from ten feet away and a product wall they can shop in the five minutes before their next class.

Working stylists, barbers and nail techs

A clear sightline to the artist's hands or a close-up screen, the demonstrated products within reach with prices visible, and a fast way to buy or sample without cutting through the demo.

Salon owners and educators

A quiet corner next to the stage, not inside it, where a range, an education program or salon equipment can be discussed and an appointment booked for after the show.

Beauty buyers, brand reps and students

The collection grouped by use or line with consistent facings and labels, a visible commercial contact, and replenishment stock hidden behind the wall so the display stays composed all day.

Your team in Rosemont

Two shops, one project manager, every hall

We build in our own production shop in Fishkill, NY and our Las Vegas hub, ship to the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center, and install with our own project manager on the floor and vetted local labor. Predictable 30–45-day turnarounds, secure storage and pre-show QA.

Your team lands to a lit, stocked booth. You just show up.

02 Booths & pricing for America's Beauty Show 2027

Pick a footprint. We price it as a rental, a custom build, or a hybrid.

ABS is a shopping floor: most of the 400+ brands take 10×10 and 10×20 inline spaces along the aisles, with the larger haircare and tool houses on islands. Purple clients here usually choose a 10×20 with one styling station and a shop wall, or a 20×20 island with a raised demo platform and a hanging sign.

04 Designing for professional beauty and salon brands at America's Beauty Show

Four things we get right for America's Beauty Show exhibitors

A hand holds a fishing rod with a lure and reel.1

Light faces and packaging accurately

A demo needs working light on the model, and photography needs balanced tones with no harsh spot. We test the lighting plan with your actual packaging and a professional model, keep colored spill off the product wall and add a dedicated key light over each station so every phone photo looks like your campaign.

Colorful toy-store display with large plush figures and illuminated retail signage2

Make the demonstration watchable

We orient the artist and model toward a defined viewing zone inside your footprint, not the aisle, and add a close-up camera and screen for small techniques like nails, lashes and color placement. Circulation stays open on one side so shoppers reach the product wall while the demo runs.

3

Hide the reset, keep the team visible

Every working station gets a screened prep area behind it for tools, capes, chargers and replacement stock, with a route short enough that staff restock without crossing the audience. Cords, dryers and hot tools are managed at the counter so nothing trails across the visitor path.

4

Keep retail fixtures flexible

Product walls get adjustable, measured shelving and a disciplined label system so a collection can change without rebuilding the wall. Stock loads from the staff side, and we design for how the display looks half sold on Sunday afternoon, not only at the Saturday opening.

05 Donald E. Stephens Convention Center · Rosemont

Logistics for America's Beauty Show 2027, handled

The Donald E. Stephens Convention Center is a union building: Illinois has no right-to-work law, so exhibit labor runs through the show contractor, and Rosemont Exposition Services lists about $145 per hundredweight for crated freight received at the advance warehouse. Docks open onto River Road with truck access from the Kennedy and Tri-State expressways, and an enclosed skybridge links the hall to the parking garage. Illinois fire code wants flame certificates for every fabric and approval for covered booths. We read the ABS exhibitor kit, order electrical and water for shampoo and treatment stations, ship to the advance warehouse and install with our on-site team, with our certificate naming Cosmetologists Chicago and the Village of Rosemont on file.

Hall rules, drayage estimates and freight deadlines for this building are in our Donald E. Stephens Convention Center exhibitor guide.

America's Beauty Show exhibitor questions

Questions exhibitors ask us before America's Beauty Show

How much does a booth at America's Beauty Show cost?

A complete 10×20 rental with your graphics lands between $7,500 and $15,000, a 10×20 custom build between $15,000 and $45,000, and a 20×20 custom island between $50,000 and $120,000, all in for design, structure, graphics and installation. Styling stations, screens and a sales counter move the number; send us your product list and we return a fixed quote.

Can you install at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center?

Yes. Our on-site team installs at the Stephens Center regularly. We work inside the show contractor's labor rules, book your freight target with Rosemont Exposition Services, order power and water for every working station and have the booth lit and stocked before the Saturday opening.

Can we rent a booth for ABS instead of buying one?

Yes. Rental structures with your graphics, a custom product wall on a rental frame, or a full custom build are all on the table. Most first-time ABS exhibitors start with a 10×10 or 10×20 rental between $3,500 and $15,000 and upgrade the demo station the following year.

When do we need to decide?

Design sign-off by late January 2027 gives a comfortable 30–45-day build and a mid-March ship to the advance warehouse. Later is possible; the trade-off is choice of fixtures and finishes and higher freight cost for a move-in in the last days of March.

Do you handle Rosemont Exposition Services orders and drayage?

Yes. We file the ABS forms that concern the booth, place the Rosemont Exposition Services orders for labor, electrical and material handling, ship crated freight to the advance warehouse on the discount date and keep you copied on every deadline so nothing depends on a form you did not know about.

Before you sign with anyone

Five questions to ask any exhibit builder for America's Beauty Show:

  1. Is every fee on the proposal, including what the show contractor bills?
  2. Who builds the booth: your own shop or a subcontractor?
  3. Will your project manager be on the floor for install and dismantle?
  4. What exactly is in the rental, and what is billed by the show?
  5. Where does the booth go after the show, and what does storage cost?

Common situations

Already own a booth? We refresh the graphics, repair what is worn, ship it, install it and store it between shows. You keep the structure you paid for.

Exhibiting from outside the US? We are your team on the ground: freight to the advance warehouse, show-service orders, installation and storage, with one project manager answering your emails in your time zone.

Short on time? A rental with your graphics can be ready in two to three weeks. We tell you on the first call what is realistic for your date.
