Boutique-scale booths for Southern buyers: MAGIC Nashville 2027 in Nashville

MAGIC Nashville is two days of boutique owners from the South and Midwest buying for their stores, so a booth here has to look like a shop they want to copy: styled racks, accessories at hand height and a table to write the order. Music City Center runs its own electrical and rigging, and we order both early.

What makes MAGIC Nashville different, and how we build for it

MAGIC Nashville is the regional spring market of Informa's MAGIC, the women's fashion marketplace better known for its Las Vegas and New York editions. It is short and focused: two days at Music City Center, 240+ brands and 3,100+ attendees in 2026, with 66% of buyers from the South and 24% from the Midwest, per Informa. Brands show across Accessories, Young Contemporary, Trend, Modern Sportswear, Footwear and Home, Gift & Beauty, and 83% of attendees in 2026 held buying power. MAGIC runs Education & Experiences sessions on site and books hotels through onPeak. For brands courting southern boutiques, it lands between the February markets and fall buying, on a floor small enough to be remembered.

Southern boutique owners

They buy for one or two stores, often on the spot, so they want price points, minimums and delivery dates clear at the rack and a quick way to write the order.

Midwest specialty and gift store buyers

Many mix apparel with accessories, home, gift and beauty; they look for brands that merchandise well together and sell through without a big display program.

Stylists, influencers and press

Informa counts them among the floor's attendees; they want a styled look worth posting and a clear story about who the brand is for.

  1. A mid-May date

MAGIC Nashville moves from April 28–29 in 2026 to Tuesday and Wednesday, May 11–12, 2027. The extra two weeks after the February Las Vegas and New York markets give brands more time to ship a refreshed booth and to show summer deliveries. source

Rules that shape your MAGIC Nashville booth

Exclusive rigging contractor

All rigging at Music City Center, including exhibit rigging and graphic installations inside and outside the building, is provided only by Convention Production Rigging, Inc. We design any banner to its rigging plot and place the order through the venue.

Organizer rule

Venue-supplied power and UL cords

Music City Center provides electrical and utility services exclusively, and every extension cord must be UL listed, labeled and correctly sized. We wire booth lighting with listed cords and order circuits through the center's online portal.

Organizer rule

Booths laid on a 10-foot grid

The exhibit hall floor is scored in 10 by 10 foot sections, with utility boxes every 30 feet carrying water, compressed air and telecom. We place racks and power drops against that grid so the booth lines up on the first try.

Organizer rule

Rooms through onPeak

MAGIC's official hotel provider is onPeak, with separate attendee and exhibitor hotel options booked first come, first served. We match our project manager's room to your team's block so everyone is close to the center on move-in day.

Popular booth sizes at MAGIC Nashville

Informa sells MAGIC Nashville space through its exhibitor team and does not publish booth sizes or packages for this edition. For a brand with one category we recommend a 10×20 laid out like a boutique; brands showing apparel with accessories or footwear do well in a 10×30 or a 20×20.

04 Designing for women's apparel, accessories, footwear and home, gift and beauty brands at MAGIC Nashville

Four things we get right for MAGIC Nashville exhibitors

Gold necklaces hanging from a jewelry display stand1

Merchandise it like her store

The MAGIC Nashville buyer is most often a boutique owner from the South who will copy a good display back home. We build at real store scale, with rails at retail height, a styled form at the aisle and accessories placed beside the outfit they finish.

Handmade candles, skincare items and decor arranged on a market table2

Two days, so open strong

The floor runs only Tuesday and Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. We put new arrivals and the bestseller wall on the aisle edge so Tuesday morning traffic stops, and keep reorders and line sheets on the table for Wednesday's decisions.

A woman takes notes while checking a rack of clothing3

Mix categories the way buyers shop

MAGIC Nashville groups brands across Accessories, Young Contemporary, Trend, Modern Sportswear, Footwear and Home, Gift & Beauty. If you sell jewelry, candles or shoes with clothing, we show them together so the add-on order happens at the same table.

A woman in a yellow dress checks clothing items on a boutique rack4

Lights from the building, plan early

Music City Center supplies electrical service exclusively and requires UL-listed, properly sized extension cords. We spec LED track and shelf lighting on as few circuits as possible and place the order early through the center's services portal.

The main exhibit hall, with a floor scored in 10-foot sections and utility boxes every 30 feet for water, compressed air and telecom.

Our advice The scored grid makes booth lines exact, so our rack and shelf plan is drawn to the 10-foot module from the start.

05 Music City Center · Nashville

Logistics for MAGIC Nashville 2027, handled

Music City Center in downtown Nashville has its exhibit hall on Level 3 and the Karl F. Dean Grand Ballroom on Level 4. The center provides electrical and utility services exclusively, and all rigging, exhibit rigging and graphic installation goes through Convention Production Rigging, Inc., so a hanging banner or lit sign is ordered through the building, not brought in. The hall floor is scored in 10-foot sections with utility boxes every 30 feet. MAGIC books rooms through onPeak, with separate exhibitor hotel options. We read the 2027 exhibitor kit when Informa issues it, ship to the contractor's warehouse and run the install with our project manager and vetted Nashville labor.

What Purple handles

  • Boutique-scale racks, forms and shelving
  • Accessory and footwear fixtures beside apparel
  • Music City Center electrical and rigging orders
  • Freight to the contractor's warehouse
  • Install and dismantle with our project manager
  • Storage between Nashville and the February MAGIC markets

MAGIC Nashville exhibitor questions

Questions exhibitors ask us before MAGIC Nashville

When is MAGIC Nashville 2027?

MAGIC Nashville 2027 runs Tuesday, May 11 and Wednesday, May 12, 2027, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days. The 2026 edition ran April 28–29, 2026, so the 2027 market sits about two weeks later in the spring calendar.

Where is MAGIC Nashville held?

Informa lists Music City Center, the convention center at 201 Rep. John Lewis Way South in downtown Nashville, as the 2027 location. The center's own calendar lists the booking as Informa MAGIC on May 11–12, alongside events such as ViVE in March.

How many people attend MAGIC Nashville?

Informa reports 3,100+ attendees at the 2026 Nashville event, a mix of brands, buyers, influencers, stylists, industry experts and press, with 240+ brands exhibiting. 83% of attendees held buying power and over 72% were top decision makers.

Where do MAGIC Nashville buyers come from?

In 2026, 66% of buyers came from the Southern U.S. and 24% from the Midwest, with nine countries and regions represented on the floor, per Informa. That makes it a strong regional market for brands building southern and midwestern boutique accounts.

What categories are at MAGIC Nashville?

Brands exhibit across Accessories, Young Contemporary, Trend, Modern Sportswear, Footwear, and Home, Gift & Beauty, the same category families MAGIC uses in Las Vegas and New York. The Nashville brand list is published by Informa ahead of each market.

How much does a booth at MAGIC Nashville cost?

Informa quotes space through its exhibitor team and does not publish Nashville rates. Our part is the build: a complete 10×20 rental with racks, lighting and graphics typically runs $7,500 to $15,000, and electrical from Music City Center is billed separately by the venue.

How do I exhibit at MAGIC Nashville?

Brands apply through MAGIC's Apply to Exhibit form, and the Fashion by Informa team follows up with space and contract details. Contracted exhibitors then plan through the Exhibitor Resource Center, which holds the forms and deadlines for each 2027 market.

Can we hang a sign at Music City Center?

All rigging at Music City Center, including exhibit rigging and graphic installations, is provided exclusively by Convention Production Rigging, Inc. Whether MAGIC Nashville allows hanging signs in your booth type depends on Informa's 2027 rules, and those are not confirmed yet.

Where should MAGIC Nashville exhibitors stay?

MAGIC's official hotel provider is onPeak, with separate attendee and exhibitor hotel lists and flexible change and cancellation policies, first come, first served. Booking through the official block keeps your team near Music City Center.

Is MAGIC Nashville open to the public?

MAGIC Nashville is a wholesale trade event: buyers register through the Register to Shop form, and the floor is built around brands, retailers, stylists and press. Informa's buyer FAQs and registration terms set who qualifies.

Who organizes MAGIC Nashville?

Informa Markets runs MAGIC through Fashion by Informa, the same group behind MAGIC Las Vegas, MAGIC New York, PROJECT, COTERIE, SOURCING and OFFPRICE. MAGIC Las Vegas runs February 16–18, 2027 and MAGIC New York February 7–9, 2027.

Can we reuse the booth at other MAGIC shows?

With some planning it travels well: a boutique-scale booth for Nashville scales up for MAGIC Las Vegas in February or Atlanta Apparel. We build in modules, store the set between markets and swap graphics each season so it reads new to returning buyers.

Is MAGIC Nashville worth exhibiting at?

For brands selling to southern and midwestern boutiques, it puts 3,100+ attendees with strong buying power in one room over two days, at a smaller scale and cost than Las Vegas. Brands that need national chains and international buyers usually start with MAGIC Las Vegas.

Before you sign for MAGIC Nashville

Five things to ask every builder quoting MAGIC Nashville:

  1. Is every fee on the proposal, including what the MAGIC Nashville show contractor bills?
  2. Who actually builds it for MAGIC Nashville: your shop or a subcontractor?
  3. Will your project manager be on the floor at the Music City Center for install and dismantle?
  4. For MAGIC Nashville, what is in the rental and what is billed by the show?
  5. Once MAGIC Nashville closes, where does the booth go and what does storage cost?

Common situations

Already own a booth? Your existing booth gets refreshed graphics and repairs, then we ship it to Nashville, install it and store it between shows. You keep the structure you paid for and bring it to MAGIC Nashville.

Exhibiting from outside the US? For MAGIC Nashville, we act as your team on the ground: freight to the advance warehouse, show-service orders, installation and storage, and one project manager who answers your emails in your time zone.

Short on time? Rentals with your graphics can be ready in two to three weeks. You will know on the first call what is realistic for your MAGIC Nashville date.
