Fabric on the tenth floor: LA Textile 2027 booths in Los Angeles

LA Textile buyers are designers who want to touch a fabric and order a sample on the spot, so a booth here is a well-lit swatch library with a table to talk minimums. The show fills The Loft on Floor 10C of the California Market Center, so everything you bring rides the building's elevators.

  • 40,000 sq ft Loft
  • Trade only since 1993

What makes LA Textile different, and how we build for it

LA Textile has connected the fashion and textile communities in Los Angeles since 1993, and the California Market Center runs it twice a year in The Loft, a raw 40,000 square foot event space on Floor 10C of Building C.It is a curated show of textile, design and manufacturing resources rather than a giant hall: exhibitor neighborhoods such as the European Collective, the Made In Japan Spotlight and the Turkish Textile Pavilion sit beside trims, sustainable fabrics and supply chain services. Peclers Paris curates the SS27 Trend Gallery, three days of free talks run on site, and the show adds an espresso and tea bar, a daily happy hour and a pop-up lunch café to keep designers on the floor.

Designers and product developers

They come from fashion, interiors, entertainment and lifestyle brands to touch fabrics, check hand and drape, and leave with headers and sample requests for the next collection.

Sourcing and management teams

They compare minimums, lead times, certifications and pricing, and want to meet the agent or mill that can actually deliver to a Los Angeles cutting room.

Wholesale fabric buyers and retailers

They buy for resale and want clear stock programs, color cards and reorder terms they can act on before leaving the building.

Your team in Los Angeles

From our two shops to the LA Textile floor

For LA Textile, we build in our own shop in Fishkill, NY, and at our Las Vegas hub, ship to the California Market Center, The Loft (Building C), and put our own project manager on the floor with vetted local labor for the install. Turnaround is a predictable 30 to 45 days, with pre-show QA and secure storage for your LA Textile booth.

At LA Textile, your team walks into a booth that is lit and stocked. You just show up.

LA Textile rules that shape your booth

Two business credentials

Every LA Textile attendee, including returning visitors, must provide two business credentials such as a printed card, LinkedIn profile or company ID. Your booth meets a checked trade audience, so we design for detailed sampling conversations, not crowd traffic.

Organizer rule

Guests may not solicit

Guest badges are subject to approval, and soliciting business from attendees or exhibitors as a guest is strictly prohibited. Textile companies scouting the show request a guest badge from show management before exhibiting, which we can plan around a future booth.

Organizer rule

Student groups by reservation

Only pre-approved student groups of up to 15 with an instructor may attend, on specific days, and walk-ins are refused. We keep a small giveaway of swatch cards ready for those visits without crowding buyer meetings.

Organizer rule

Registration required, trade only

The CMC lists LA Textile as registration required and open strictly to the trade. We add your booth number and a pre-registration link to every invitation we design for your clients.

Popular booth sizes at LA Textile

LA Textile sells space through CMC show management and does not publish booth sizes or rates; The Loft is filled with exhibitor booths and curated creative environments. For an agent or mill taking a 10×20, we build a header wall, a sampling table and lighting that shows true color.

Case study · French Avenue

French Avenue at a fragrance and beauty trade show

A premium fragrance environment built around discovery, with a flow designed for real conversations and product sampling.

French Avenue's booth invited visitors to discover product up close and then talk; at LA Textile the product is a swatch in a designer's hand, and the same discovery-then-conversation flow sells it.

04 Designing for textile mills, fabric agents, trims makers and design and manufacturing services at LA Textile

Four things we get right for LA Textile exhibitors

Fabric and color swatches laid out on a marble table1

Build it for the freight elevator

The Loft is on Floor 10C of Building C, so every crate, table and header wall reaches the show by elevator. We design in panels and short crates that fit the CMC's cars, and keep anything long, like fabric bolts on display, to lengths that ride up easily.

A scatter of colorful clothing buttons in many sizes2

True light in a raw space

The Loft is a raw event space, so its light is not built for color matching. We add high-CRI LED over the header wall and the sampling table so a designer sees the real shade before ordering a yardage sample.

Two fashion designers work together over fabric patterns in a bright studio3

Headers people can flip

Designers at LA Textile pull headers for their boards. We mount headers on swing arms or rods by fabric family, with code, content, weight, width and minimum printed on each, so your staff spend time on conversations instead of reorganizing swatches.

A fashion designer works at a desk surrounded by sewing tools and cloth4

Neighborhoods help you be found

LA Textile groups exhibitors into neighborhoods such as the European Collective, Made In Japan and the Turkish Textile Pavilion. If you show inside one, we design your booth to read as part of the group while your name still stands out from the aisle.

LA Textile exhibitor questions

Questions exhibitors ask us before LA Textile

When is LA Textile 2027?

The February edition runs Tuesday, February 23 to Thursday, February 25, 2027, with doors at 9 each morning, a 5 o'clock close the first two days and a 4 o'clock close on the last. The second 2027 edition runs September 21–23, 2027, also at the California Market Center.

Where is LA Textile held?

In The Loft, a raw 40,000 square foot event space on Floor 10C of Building C at the California Market Center, 110 East 9th Street in downtown Los Angeles' Fashion District. Visitors take the elevator from the CMC's Atrium lobby to the tenth floor.

Who can attend LA Textile?

LA Textile is open strictly to the trade: designers, product development, sourcing and management teams from fashion, interiors, entertainment and lifestyle brands, plus wholesale fabric buyers and retailers. Everyone must show two business credentials, such as a printed business card and a LinkedIn profile, even if they have attended before.

Who exhibits at LA Textile?

Agents and companies with premium textile collections, trims, accessories, design services and manufacturing resources from North America, Europe, Japan, South America and beyond, grouped in neighborhoods such as the European Collective, Made In Japan and the Turkish Textile Pavilion. The 2027 exhibitor list is not confirmed yet.

How much does a booth at LA Textile cost?

CMC show management quotes LA Textile space directly and does not publish rates. Our build is separate: a 10×20 rental with header walls, lighting and a sampling table typically runs $7,500 to $15,000, and a custom 10×20 runs $15,000 to $45,000 depending on fixtures.

How do I exhibit at LA Textile?

Contact LA Textile show management through the exhibiting form on the CMC's LA Textile page. Textile companies that want to walk the show before committing can request a guest badge from show management, but soliciting other attendees or exhibitors as a guest is strictly prohibited.

Is there parking at LA Textile?

The CMC's main underground garage, entered from Main Street or Los Angeles Street, has EV charging and elevators to the Atrium. Registered LA Textile visitors get a validation that drops parking to $5 for the whole day, one validation per person per day, scanned at the show's registration desk.

Are there seminars at LA Textile?

LA Textile runs three days of complimentary trend talks, seminars and panels, with global fashion trend overviews by trend agencies, business, brand-building and manufacturing insights, and discussions on sustainable and ethical fashion. The 2027 schedule is not confirmed yet.

What is the Trend Gallery at LA Textile?

The February 2027 show features an SS27 Trend Gallery curated by Peclers Paris, the trend agency, presenting the season's directions through fabric. We pick your hero swatches to answer those directions, so a designer who starts at the gallery recognizes your fabric at the booth.

Where should LA Textile exhibitors stay?

The CMC has arranged discounts of up to 25% at eight downtown boutique hotels, most within walking distance, booked with CMC's discount code. The Downtown LA Proper, designed by Kelly Wearstler, is among them.

Can students attend LA Textile?

Only pre-approved student groups of up to 15, accompanied at all times by an instructor, on specific show days. Students cannot attend individually and walk-ins are turned away. Instructors request a reservation by email rather than through the pre-registration form.

How is LA Textile different from Texworld LA?

LA Textile is the CMC's own curated show, running since 1993 in February and September. Texworld Los Angeles is Messe Frankfurt's international sourcing show at the same building in summer, with Apparel Sourcing and Home Textiles Sourcing alongside it. Many agents do both.

Is LA Textile worth exhibiting at?

For mills, agents and trims suppliers selling to West Coast designers and product developers, it is the long-running fabric show in the heart of the Fashion District, with a trade-only, credential-checked audience. Mills chasing very large sourcing volumes often add Texworld in New York or Los Angeles.

Before you sign for LA Textile

Ask any LA Textile exhibit builder these five questions:

  1. Are all fees on paper, including what the contractor at the California Market Center, The Loft (Building C) bills?
  2. Who actually builds it for LA Textile: your shop or a subcontractor?
  3. Will your project manager be on the floor at the California Market Center, The Loft (Building C) for install and dismantle?
  4. What exactly is in the rental, and what is billed by the show?
  5. What happens to the booth after LA Textile, and what does storage cost?

Common situations

Already own a booth? Bring it: we refresh the graphics, repair what is worn, ship it, install it at LA Textile and store it until the next show. You keep the structure you paid for and bring it to LA Textile.

Exhibiting from outside the US? We are your team on the ground in Los Angeles: freight to the advance warehouse, show-service orders, installation and storage, with one project manager answering your emails in your time zone.
