Where IBS lives on: Be+Well New York 2027 booths at the Javits in New York

The International Beauty Show and IECSC New York now share one Javits floor as Be+Well, and Northeast stylists, estheticians, nail techs and spa owners still come to try, learn and buy. We build demo stations, treatment beds and checkout counters that fit Javits union rules and a three-day crowd.

What makes Be+Well New York different, and how we build for it

Be+Well New York is the March Javits show that New York's beauty trade knew for a century as the International Beauty Show, now merged with IECSC New York by Questex under the Be+Well name.More than 450 exhibitors are grouped into six neighborhoods, from Hair & Salon Essentials and Spa & Wellness to the Business District, the Tech Zone and the Retail Zone. Free Product Focused Education classes, the paid conference, the Glam + Glow Stage, Trend Talks and the Global Talent Beauty Cup nail and makeup competition all feed the floor, and Tuesday adds the Student Day Program. Exhibitors sell directly to licensed pros, so a booth here is part treatment room, part classroom and part store.

Northeast hairstylists, colorists and barbers

Many have walked this show for years. They come for show specials on tools, color and care, and buy after watching a cut or a formula at the chair.

Estheticians and med spa owners

They test devices, peels and professional skincare, and need a treatment bed or a device demo, clear protocols and a sales rep who can talk volume and training.

Salon, spa and wellness owners

Owners compare software, furniture, retail lines and services in the Business District and Tech Zone. They want a seated conversation and a quote, not a crowd at a mirror.

Your team in New York

One project manager, two shops, the whole Be+Well New York build

We fabricate in our own Fishkill, NY shop and our Las Vegas hub, then ship to the Javits Center, where our own project manager leads the install with vetted local labor. A predictable 30–45-day turnaround, secure storage and a pre-show QA before Be+Well New York.

Your team walks into a lit, stocked booth. You just show up.

Rules that shape your Be+Well New York booth

No roller bags on the floor

Be+Well New York bans roller bags and any bag on wheels from the exhibit hall, with a bag check outside. Plan staff kits in shoulder bags and keep your stock in our booth closet instead of rolling cases.

Organizer rule

Attendees 16 and older, no strollers

All attendees must be at least 16, and infants in strollers are not allowed on the floor. Product claims and demos can be pitched to an adult professional crowd.

Organizer rule

Live animals need Javits approval

Only service dogs are admitted, and any animal in an exhibit needs Javits approval, permits, health certificates and insurance naming the Javits entities. We leave pet-grooming demos out unless that paperwork is filed months ahead.

Organizer rule

Carpet, power and Wi-Fi through GES

Be+Well's exhibitor resource center routes carpet, electricity and Wi-Fi orders through GES. We place them at the early rate with our drawings so power drops land under the chairs and beds.

Organizer rule

For French Avenue, Purple built a premium fragrance space designed around discovery; a Be+Well booth follows the same logic, where a live facial, cut or manicure brings the professional in before any talk of price.

04 Designing for professional hair, nail, esthetics, spa and wellness brands at Be+Well New York

Four things we get right for Be+Well New York exhibitors

Hand holding tweezers with a strip of false eyelashes1

Light weight for the Javits

Every pound crosses the Javits docks as Teamster freight billed by weight, and booths over 250 square feet are carpenter-built. We use aluminum frames and fabric graphics so more of the budget goes to demo stations and lighting instead of handling.

Hairstylist talking through a cut with a client in a modern salon2

A demo that works in a busy aisle

Be+Well visitors stop for a live service. We put the chair, facial bed or nail table at the aisle edge with task lighting, hide cords under a raised floor and keep a rail so watchers stand in your booth, not your neighbor's.

Makeup artist carefully applying makeup to a seated client in a studio3

Sell show specials without a jam

Be+Well tells exhibitors to sell directly on the floor and posts their booth specials for attendees in advance. We build a checkout off the main traffic line with two terminals, bags under the counter and a pickup shelf for preorders.

Hairdresser styling a man's hair in a warm, well-lit salon4

Fit your neighborhood

Hair & Salon Essentials, Spa & Wellness, and Nails, Cosmetics, Brows & Lashes each draw a different visitor. We tune finishes, lighting color and furniture to the neighborhood, calm and warm for spa, bright and mirrored for hair.

Be+Well has not published the Javits hall for 2027; it lays out the expo by neighborhood. These are the neighborhoods and the parts of the building that matter for a booth.

A

Hair & Salon Essentials

Our advice Chairs and dryers draw power; we order circuits early through GES and plan cord runs under a raised floor.

B

Spa & Wellness and Nails, Cosmetics, Brows & Lashes

Skin and body care, med spa equipment, waxing, suncare and spa furniture in one; cosmetics, nail care, lash and brow products, permanent makeup and microblading in the other.

Our advice Treatment demos need privacy screens and a sink or wipe-down plan; nail and lash stations need task lights and ventilation-friendly layouts.

C

Crystal Palace and the marshaling facility

Badge pickup is in the Crystal Palace off the guest entrance at 445 11th Avenue; all freight checks in at the Javits indoor marshaling facility.

Our advice Hand-carry only what one person can carry in one trip; everything else ships with our freight and a dock call.

05 Javits Center · New York

Logistics for Be+Well New York 2027, handled

Be+Well New York runs at the Javits Center on 11th Avenue, where every truck queues indoors in the four-level marshaling building until it is called to a dock. Self-setup stops at 250 sq ft, hand-assembled by your own staff; every larger or tooled build belongs to the carpenters, and electricians handle power and lit signs. Be+Well orders carpet, electricity and Wi-Fi through GES. We build the booth in Fishkill, an easy drive up the Hudson, and a Purple project manager directs the union carpenters and electricians at the Javits. We join the exhibitor town hall on January 13, 2027, file the forms in the exhibitor manual and stay through the 3:30 p.m. Tuesday close.

Be+Well New York exhibitors can find this building's hall rules, drayage estimates and freight deadlines in our Javits Center exhibitor guide.

Be+Well New York exhibitor questions

Questions exhibitors ask us before Be+Well New York

When is Be+Well New York 2027?

Be+Well New York runs Sunday to Tuesday, March 7–9, 2027. The exhibit hall is open from 10:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. the first two days and until 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday; paid education starts at 10 a.m. each day.

Is Be+Well New York the same as IBS New York?

Be+Well is the new name for the International Beauty Show and the International Esthetics, Cosmetics and Spa Conference, two events with 108 years of history, now combined by Questex into one New York show at the Javits. The first New York edition under the Be+Well name ran March 8–10, 2026.

Where is Be+Well New York held?

At the Javits Center, 429 11th Avenue, Manhattan. Be+Well asks visitors to use the guest entrance at 445 11th Avenue, with badge pickup in the Crystal Palace; the 7 train's 34th Street–Hudson Yards stop is about a five-minute walk.

How many exhibitors are at Be+Well New York?

Be+Well promotes 450+ exhibitors for the 2027 New York show, grouped into neighborhoods for hair and salon, spa and wellness, nails, cosmetics, brows and lashes, business services, technology and retail.

Is Be+Well New York open to the public?

The show is for licensed professionals and students in the beauty, esthetics, spa and wellness industries. Be+Well does not require a license at the door because not every state licenses salon and spa workers, but all attendees must be at least 16.

How much does a ticket to Be+Well New York cost?

Passes run from $65 for a one-day expo ticket to $335 for a VIP pass, depending on deadlines. Insider rates end October 30, 2026, Early Bird January 15 and Standard February 12, 2027, and groups of four or more save $5 each.

How much does a booth at Be+Well New York cost?

Be+Well sells booths through its online booth store and sales team and offers a discount for booking more than one Be+Well show. On our side, renting a 10×20 with a demo station costs $7,500 to $15,000 and a custom 20×20 $50,000 to $120,000, plus Javits labor and drayage.

Can exhibitors sell products at Be+Well New York?

Be+Well tells exhibitors to sell directly on the show floor, demo and educate, and it publishes exhibitors' booth specials and product launches to attendees before the show at no extra cost.

Can we set up our own booth at the Javits?

Javits rules cap exhibitor self-setup at small stands (250 sq ft maximum) assembled by your own full-time people by hand, with no ladder. Anything bigger is carpenter work ordered through GES or through an exhibitor-appointed contractor like Purple.

What is the Student Day at Be+Well New York?

Tuesday, March 9 is Student Day, 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., for beauty school students and chaperones. School registration closes March 5, so expect a younger, price-conscious crowd on the last afternoon.

Are CEU credits available at Be+Well New York?

Some classes qualify and are marked in the schedule. Show management issues a certificate of class hours on site, and each state board decides whether to award CEU credits.

Where do Be+Well New York exhibitors stay?

Connections Housing is the only official housing company for the show, and its rate deadline is February 10, 2027. Be+Well warns that other agencies soliciting attendees are not connected to the event.

How is Be+Well New York different from Be+Well Las Vegas?

New York in March is the Northeast show, with IBS's century-old salon audience, 450+ exhibitors and a Student Day at the Javits. Be+Well Las Vegas in June at the LVCC draws a national and West Coast crowd to a larger spa and wellness floor.

What should exhibitors do first after booking?

Join the live exhibitor town hall on January 13, 2027 at 2 p.m. ET, read the exhibitor services manual, complete the business profile and team registration, and send your booth specials so Be+Well can promote them.

Before you sign with anyone

Ask any Be+Well New York exhibit builder these five questions:

  1. Are all fees on paper, including what the contractor at the Javits Center bills?
  2. Who builds the booth: your own shop or a subcontractor?
  3. Will your own project manager be at Be+Well New York for install and dismantle?
  4. What does the rental include, and what is billed by Be+Well New York?
  5. Once Be+Well New York closes, where does the booth go and what does storage cost?
