Reactor experts at six-foot tables: ANS Annual 2027 booths in Lake Buena Vista

We build ANS Annual exhibits for a tabletop expo: a lit display that puts your detector, fuel sample or software on a 6-foot table in front of reactor engineers between sessions. The 2027 meeting is at a Disney Springs-area hotel, so everything ships in cases.

What makes ANS Annual Conference different, and how we build for it

The ANS Annual Conference is the American Nuclear Society's main summer technical meeting: plenaries, hundreds of technical sessions and embedded topicals, with exhibits held where the opening reception, luncheons and coffee service happen. For 2027 it moves to the Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace in Lake Buena Vista, with Decommissioning, Environmental Sciences and Remote Technology (DESD/RRSD 2027) and Accelerator Applications (AccApp '27) embedded. In 2026 in Denver ANS sold exhibit tables, not booths, and the exhibitors ranged from Holtec, General Atomics, NuScale and Orano to Oak Ridge, Los Alamos and Y-12. It is a researcher-heavy room where 40% of 2025 attendees were students or early-career.

Reactor designers and utility engineers

Technical evidence on the table: qualification data, materials results and a sample or sectioned part to examine between sessions.

National lab and university researchers

Instrument specifications, collaboration contacts and the right engineer to talk to, especially for remote technology and accelerator work this year.

Students and early-career engineers

A clear picture of what your company builds and who it hires; ANS counted 40% students or early-career among 2025 attendees.

From our two shops to the ANS Annual Conference floor

We fabricate in our own Fishkill, NY shop and our Las Vegas hub, then ship to the Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace, where our own project manager leads the install with vetted local labor. Every ANS Annual Conference build runs a predictable 30 to 45 days and gets a pre-show QA, with secure storage after.

Rules that shape your ANS Annual Conference booth

Tables only, no floor booths

ANS sold 2026 Annual exhibit space as a 6-foot by 30-inch skirted table with two chairs, and tables could not be transferred, donated or reassigned (2026 prospectus). We build tabletop kits, not booth frames.

Organizer rule

No selling or price posting

Sales, posted prices and order writing are not permitted at the expo, and ANS also bans outboarding and suitcasing (2026 contract). We keep prices off every graphic and design for lead capture.

Organizer rule

ANS judges the sight line

Every table display has to leave the view to the next exhibit clear, with ANS as the judge of what counts as reasonable, and nothing may be fixed to hotel walls or columns (2026 contract). Our risers stay low and freestanding.

Organizer rule

Early teardown is penalized

Packing up before the published time without approval can cost priority points or a fine, and minors are kept off the floor while tables go up and come down (2026 contract). We book flights after teardown.

Popular booth sizes at ANS Annual Conference

ANS sold the 2026 Annual exhibits as tables: a 6-foot by 30-inch skirted table with two chairs for $2,000 to ANS organization members and $2,500 to others, plus sponsor packages. We build tabletop kits for that space: a lit riser, a pull-up graphic behind the chair and a product display, never a floor booth ANS does not sell.

04 Designing for nuclear component, fuel, instrumentation and engineering services companies at ANS Annual Conference

Four things we get right for ANS Annual Conference exhibitors

Panel of nuclear specialists speaking at a technical briefing table1

Everything rides on 6 feet

The 2026 ANS Annual gave each exhibitor a 6-foot by 30-inch skirted table and two chairs. We build a riser that lifts one part to eye level, a slim lit header and a tablet stand, all packed into one rolling case that clears hotel corridors.

Inspectors measuring a nuclear fuel assembly with handheld equipment2

Show remote and accelerator work

With DESD/RRSD 2027 and AccApp '27 embedded, decommissioning robotics and accelerator engineers will be in the room. If you supply remote tools, shielding or beam instruments, we put a small working model or video loop on the table for them.

Two operators monitoring a research reactor from a control console3

Sight lines are an ANS rule

ANS asks that every table display be designed to avoid blocking neighboring exhibits, and it decides what a reasonable sight line is. Our pull-up graphics stand behind your chairs, and anything on the table stays low at the front edge.

Nuclear plant cooling towers rising above a green river valley4

Talk tech, never prices

Order taking, posted prices and sales are all off limits at the ANS expo. Fill the table with specifications, test results and a QR code to a technical page, and book commercial meetings after the conference.

Exhibit tables

About 50 numbered tables in 2026, each a 6-foot by 30-inch skirted table with two chairs, assigned first-come, first-served.

Our advice Ask for a table on the path between registration and the session rooms; we build the riser to read from that walking line.

B

Receptions, luncheons and coffee

The opening reception, the luncheons and the daily coffee service all take place among the exhibit tables.

Our advice Staff the table at every break; we leave the table front clear for business cards and a QR stand.

Logistics for ANS Annual Conference 2027, handled

The 2027 Annual Conference is at the Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace on East Buena Vista Drive, a resort hotel near Disney Springs. Once your contract is signed, ANS forwards the shipping details and contractor forms. Under the 2026 rules a table could not be shared or handed to another company, ANS discarded anything left behind, and extra electrical came only from the facility's authorized supplier. We pack your tabletop kit in rolling cases, send them to the hotel the way ANS directs, order power for lit displays and set the table with our project manager before the opening reception.

What Purple handles

  • Tabletop kits sized to ANS's 6-foot skirted table
  • Low risers and pull-up graphics that keep sight lines open
  • Power orders through the hotel's authorized supplier
  • Rolling cases shipped on ANS's instructions
  • Setup before the opening reception and teardown inside ANS's window
  • Graphics that scale up for POWERGEN or WM2027

Timeline, counted back from move-in

ANS Annual 2027 paper summaries and abstracts due: January 15, 2027. If your engineers want a talk to go with the exhibit table, the summary must be in the ANS submission system by then.

Design sign-off for ANS Annual Conference is due by early April 2027.

  1. January 15, 2027ANS deadline for paper summaries and abstracts; pair a paper with your exhibit table.
  2. March 2027Exhibit contract and payment to ANS once the 2027 prospectus is out.
  3. Early April 2027Design sign-off for the tabletop riser, header and pull-up graphic.
  4. May 2027Production in our Fishkill, NY shop; kit packed in rolling cases and shipped on ANS's instructions.
  5. June 13–16, 2027Conference days; our project manager sets your table before the opening reception and packs it at teardown.

ANS Annual Conference exhibitor questions

Questions exhibitors ask us before ANS Annual Conference

When is the 2027 ANS Annual Conference?

The 2027 ANS Annual Conference runs June 13–16, 2027, per the ANS meetings calendar, with the embedded topicals DESD/RRSD 2027 and AccApp '27. The 2027 exhibit schedule is not confirmed yet; in 2026 the exhibit tables opened on the first evening and stayed open two full days.

Where is the 2027 ANS Annual Conference held?

The 2027 ANS Annual Conference is held at the Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace, 1900 East Buena Vista Drive, Lake Buena Vista, Florida, in the Disney Springs Resort Area. The 2026 Annual was at the Sheraton Denver and the 2025 Annual at the Chicago Marriott Downtown.

How much does it cost to exhibit at the ANS Annual?

An ANS Annual exhibit table cost $2,000 for ANS organization members and $2,500 for non-members in 2026, including one full conference registration; 2027 prices are not confirmed yet. 2026 sponsorships ran from $3,500 to $50,000, and our tabletop kit is quoted on its own.

What do exhibitors get at the ANS Annual?

In 2026 each exhibit space was a 6-foot by 30-inch skirted table with two chairs for company materials, plus one complimentary full registration. The opening reception, luncheons and daily coffee were held in the exhibit area, so attendees pass the tables several times a day.

Who exhibits at the ANS Annual Conference?

Reactor developers, fuel and component makers, instrumentation and software firms, and national labs. The 2026 Denver list included Holtec International, General Atomics, NuScale Power, Orano USA, BWXT, Oklo Inc., Ludlum Measurements, Oak Ridge National Laboratory and Y-12 National Security Complex.

Who attends the ANS Annual Conference?

Based on 2025 data, ANS reports that 70% of attendees work in engineering, operations or technical leadership, 60% influence or make purchasing decisions, 40% are students or early-career, and 350+ organizations from 30+ countries take part.

Can we sell at the ANS Annual expo?

ANS keeps commerce off the expo floor: exhibitors may not sell, post prices or write orders, and off-site rival events and non-exhibitor solicitation are banned too. Use your table for technical conversations and lead capture, then follow up with quotes after the meeting.

How are ANS exhibit tables assigned?

In 2026 exhibitors chose three preferred table numbers on the contract and could list companies they wanted to be near or away from; ANS assigned tables first-come, first-served. Book early if you want a spot near the session doors.

What are the paper deadlines for ANS Annual 2027?

Summaries or abstracts are due January 15, 2027, authors hear by February 5, and revised summaries are due February 26, 2027. ANS publishes accepted and presented summaries in its Transactions; presenters are expected to register.

Can we take photos at the ANS Annual?

Under the 2026 Annual contract, nobody may photograph or film without written permission from ANS, while ANS keeps the right to shoot your display for its own promotion. If you want pictures of your table, we ask ANS for consent first.

Is the ANS Annual worth exhibiting at?

For a nuclear supplier, a $2,000 table in 2026 bought time with reactor engineers, national-lab researchers and the next generation of hires. It is a scientific meeting, so expect technical leads and partnerships rather than orders written on the floor.

Who organizes the ANS Annual Conference?

The American Nuclear Society, whose conferences department handles exhibit contracts and sponsorships. ANS also runs the Winter Conference & Expo, set for October 31 to November 3, 2027 in Washington, DC.

Can we reuse an ANS table display at other shows?

The tabletop kit goes straight to the ANS Winter Conference in Washington and to WM2027's small-business tabletops, and its graphics scale to a POWERGEN booth. We keep the kit in storage between meetings and refresh the panels when your data changes.

Before you sign for ANS Annual Conference

Five things to ask every builder quoting ANS Annual Conference:

  1. Is every fee on the proposal, including what the ANS Annual Conference show contractor bills?
  2. Who actually builds it for ANS Annual Conference: your shop or a subcontractor?
  3. Does your project manager stay on the floor through install and dismantle in Lake Buena Vista?
  4. What is inside the rental price, and what is billed by the show?
  5. Where is the booth stored after the show, and at what cost?

Common situations

Already own a booth? Bring it: we refresh the graphics, repair what is worn, ship it, install it at ANS Annual Conference and store it until the next show. You keep the structure you paid for and bring it to ANS Annual Conference.

Exhibiting from outside the US? We are your team on the ground at the Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace: freight to the advance warehouse, show-service orders, installation and storage, with one project manager on your emails in your time zone.

Short on time? A rental with your graphics can be ready for ANS Annual Conference in two to three weeks. We tell you on the first call what is realistic before ANS Annual Conference.
