Festival of Biologics USA 2027Exhibitor guide: booth costs, dates and deadlines in Boston

A two-day biologics festival suits a 10×20 rental from Purple at $7,500 to $15,000; a CDMO's 20×20 custom stand runs $50,000 to $120,000. Terrapinn bills the space itself through its prospectus. In Boston, union carpentry and drayage add more than in most cities, and we list both on the proposal.

Terrapinn sells stands until they are gone and has published no 2027 exhibitor deadline yet. For a custom stand we want sign-off by early February 2027, giving us production time before the April 13 opening. A rental can be decided later, into early March.

We rent Festival of Biologics kits from a 10×20 upward: the aluminum frame, printed fabric walls, LED lights, a two-seat table and a locking counter. Trucking from Fishkill, NY, Local 327 labor, teardown and Terrapinn forms are quoted as one fixed figure, and after April 14 the whole kit travels back to our warehouse.

Your staff can handle small tasks that stay under the building's size and height limits. Anything bigger is carpenter work: Local 327 builds stands in Boston through the official contractor, because Massachusetts unions hold that jurisdiction. Terrapinn also needs to approve any outside contractor in writing, which we request.

Boston is among the most expensive drayage markets. A published 2026 rate sheet for this building, from the ASGCT meeting with Heritage, charged $323.95 per hundredweight for crated freight sent ahead to the warehouse, $404.94 for freight trucked straight to the hall, and billed at least 200 pounds. Festival of Biologics rates come in Terrapinn's manual; we price them on your proposal.

Terrapinn's Start-Up Zone gives a 3-foot unit with a name panel and full-size graphic, two full-access passes, the meeting app and the drinks reception. Companies must be under four years old, have fewer than 25 employees and have raised no more than $5 million. We print the panel graphic.

We design Festival of Biologics stands so the walls and counter carry on to PEGS Boston in May or BioProcess International in September, both in Boston, and to World Vaccine Congress Washington. Between shows the stand stays crated in our warehouse, and we refresh graphics to fit each audience.

We do, once Terrapinn's exhibition manual names the official contractor: we file the electrical, carpet, labor and material handling orders, request Terrapinn's written contractor consent and route freight to the advance warehouse. Every order goes on your proposal first, and you get copies of the confirmations.

Tuesday, April 13 and Wednesday, April 14, 2027, in Boston. The 2027 day timings are not confirmed yet; in 2026 the festival ran 8 a.m. to 6:10 p.m. both days, with a drinks reception after the first day.

Boston's Seaport District hosts it, in the hall named for Mayor Thomas M. Menino on Summer Street that most exhibitors still call the BCEC. The 2026 festival was at the San Diego Convention Center, March 4–5, 2026, so 2027 brings it to the East Coast.

Terrapinn describes the festival as 2,000 attendees, 200 speakers, 150 exhibitors and 50 biotech start-ups over two days, drawn from big pharma and biotech, CDMOs, equipment makers, bioinformatics, academia, regulators and investors.
